Why? For starters, you can now know exactly the distance you’re running without having to set out a specific route prior to heading out. This makes a big difference because it means you don’t have to know where you want to go but you can still monitor your progress and see improvement. It means that you can simply head outside and start running, without meticulously planning a route first and then deigning to stick to it precisely. This is one of my favorite things about running – it allows me to explore new areas and to find new locations in my neighbourhood. I’ve discovered all kinds of parks, cafes, restaurants and shops just by running around and I know a ton more shortcuts too. It’s also really good for your sense of direction and internal map. What all that does, is that it allows you to turn running into a chance to explore and discover new things and this is so much more exciting and motivating than simply running the same route time and time again. It also means you can set yourself challenges and aim to improve. One week you might find you drastically increase your average pace and split, another week you might see that your heartrate stays much lower while you do the same run. This again makes running more rewarding. Before smartwatches we had no real way to know if we were progressing while running. This made it in some ways less rewarding than going to the gym where you would be able to see the amount of weight you could move go up each time. Suddenly, you can see incremental progress and this makes it much more addictive. You can also use this to set specific goals if you want to improve in specific domains. And as we’ll learn, this will also make it much easier for you to lose weight. You can do things like monitoring the time you spend in your fat burning zone, or you can go on ‘tempo runs’ and try and push your anaerobic threshold. And trying to maintain a certain pace is also very useful if you want to train for a marathon where the whole point is to maintain a certain speed over the distance. All this is possible thanks to a running watch! Chapter 4: Choosing the Right Shoes for Your Gait and Avoiding Injury So the most important piece of equipment you need for running is going to be the shoes. But it’s no good to just get any old shoe – it needs to be a good shoe and it needs to be one that is specifically tailored to the way that you personally run. So how do you know what that is? The best way to find out is to visit a running shop. Here, you will often be able to find a treadmill with a camera attached which is designed to monitor and measure your precise gait. This will look at when your feet hit the floor and which part of your foot strikes the floor first. This is important because it will right away be able to show you any signs of problems with your running style and it will help you to learn more about your individual technique. Some people will find that the ball of their foot hits the ground first. This is called a ‘toe strike’. Other people will find that their midsole hits the ground first. And many people will find that their heel hits the floor first. Depending on which type of runner you are, you need to make sure you have the right type of shoe. Those who hit with their heel first for instance will need a bigger ‘heel to toe drop’. The shoe will need to be more structured and supportive and it will need to be more padded. Others will be able to make do with a slightly more minimal shoe. We’ll be discussing this in more detail in the next chapter but suffice to say that these types of shoes use less of a sole in order to make your foot more flexible. This is good because you want your foot to land on the ball first in many cases and a more flexible shoe allows you to do this when it is your natural tendency to begin with. The shoe store will be able to advise you on what type of runner you are and they will be able to give you the best shoe for your specific technique. What’s more, is that they might be able to identify any issues with your current gait – for example if you are over-pronating, or if you are flat footed. If you have a flat foot, you’re going to need arch support. If you are overpronating, then you’re going to need some kind of insole. You may even find that your legs are significantly different in length. If that’s the case, then you may need specialist orthotics to solve the problem. You also need to think about what the aim of your shoe is. Do you want to run fast? Or is your aim to run for long distances? Do you want to run on tarmac? Or do you want to run through the forest (‘trail running’)? If you want to run fast for instance, you’ll want to look at a shoe with a sole that is able to offer a lot of energy return. In other words, you need a shoe that is somewhat ‘bouncy’ so that when your foot hits the road, it propels you forward with even more gusto. Adidas makes a foam called ‘boost’ that is very good for this. If you’re looking for something that will let you run longer distance on tarmac, then you might want a more structured shoe that guides your foot through the motion. You will also want more shock absorption and possibly even insoles. And if you’re planning on trail running, you’ll need to go more minimal to avoid letting your foot roll. We’ll discuss this in a little more detail in the next chapter but this brief overview should help you understand how to pick the right shoe! Of course sizing is also very important and so too is choosing a shoe that will be breathable enough, light and comfortable. Try a few on, try bouncing up and down and feel around the toe box to make sure there’s enough space. Sizing can be a little off when you’re wearing running shoes – so make sure you actually try them on before you order!

Salespage Snapshot: >>> Click Here To View Full Sales Page... Sample Content Preview I believe that a lot of us are equipped with an instinct to form excuses and reasons as to why we shouldn't tackle a challenge, or make a significant (or small) change. Meanwhile, the truth is that sometimes you rational mind doeshave a point. At the same time, you should be consciously aware of your comfort zone and howrooted you become with it. The more you immerse yourself within it, the harder it can be to get out. Think about it this way: sometimes you might be comfortable, and then all of a sudden an opportunity comes along. Your first instinct may push you to decline the opportunity, whatever it may be, and remain in a state of constant knowing and comfort. Taking an intelligent “risk” when the timing is right can end up transforming your life from ordinary to far more fulfilling. Taking a step forward, or a risk, can be a positive movement towards growing as a person, and also coping with the otherkind of stress –the badkind. Now, if you're going through this course, then I'm sure that may be why you're here. Dealing with the bad stress, the kind you could definitely do without in your life. I'm not going to bore you or waste your time by listing off reasons or situations that can generate bad stress. Mainly because I'm certain you KNOW what stresses you out and creates that feeling of overwhelm in your life. Just thinking about the topics and things that are weighing over you can cause your mind to escalate the situation. This, in turn, makes coming up with a solution AND dealing with the stress effectively far more difficult. Now that I've given you this overview of good and bad stress, let's just dive right into the topic of breathing to relieve the stress. The first thing I want you to do is breathe. Yes, that's all you need to do: breathe. But hold on, stop your mind from wandering and focus only on one thing which is the process of breathing and the breaths themselves. Take notice to the breath coming in through your nose, filling your diaphragm and chest, and then release the breath slowly out of your mouth. When you exhale the air, try to release the unpleasant thoughts that are troubling you. You can't continue to think about the issue between breaths. The idea here is to clear your mind. When you breathe in again, (yes, you have to repeat the process several times), paint the picture of positive energy coming in through your nose. Imagine that pure positive energy, drifting out of you, upon exhale, and improving your environment. Diffusing the stress around of everythingthat it comes in contact with. Similar to just about every other aspect of life, in order to reap the benefits of really anything, you need to fully commit whole-heartedly. As cliché as it may be to say, one of the strongest methods for manifestingsuccess (which is subjective to every person, by the way), is to believe. Visualize the success and your goals. Block out the negativity and stress spawning thoughts from invading. As a matter of fact, children are a prime example of how powerful the concepts of imagination and inspiration can be to self-righteousness. They often use their imagination in such ways that it creates a life and world around them where the stresses of the outside and real world don't affect them. They remain entertained by this powerful environment all build from imagination and freedom of the mind. Alright, alright, I know you're probably scoffing at this point and saying how as we get older, we seem to lose that imagination. Not to mention, we take on a multitude of different responsibilities and even burdens. As adults, we have to work, cook, clean, care for ourselvesand often others, manage bills, and have a personal life too. While this may be true, that doesn't dismiss the fact that you, just like any child, can use your imagination and inspiration to better impact your life. Not surprisingly, many self-helpguides, books, and so on often refer to the term “visualize” when describing these situations and this process. In reality, both visualizing and imagining, to me, are just one in the same. They don't have to be boring, they canand SHOULD be fun. Visualizing the goals, your successes and happiness, will in turn help you to RELEASE the bad kind of stress from your life. Without getting off track, let's shift focus on to relieving BAD stress. Remember, we're practicing breathing techniques. Once you're at the point where your body is being filled with pure positive energy (air), you want to visualize (or imagine) that this energy is transforming every cell throughout your body. Think of it like an “internal massage” of sorts, where your organs and everything will be touched and refreshed with a renewed energy. I know that in a way it does sound crazy and farfetched, but just try to experience this sensation when you practice breathing in this way. Recognize this energy, your positive and creative energy, all full of color and life, and let it “wash” through your body internally and invigorate your mind. I understand that this whole “imagining” or “visualizing” process may not be as easy for some as it is for others. This often comes from the inability to take life “less seriously” in a way. Sometimes it seems as though the more serious you take life, the more serious of occurrencesand situations will be thrown your way. You may even watch other people laughing, enjoying their life, and being just all around happy with the way things are going. In this process, you may eventually become resentful and envious. This can only feed further into the negative energy and stress that exists in your life. What needs to happen, is you need to come to a point where you breathe easy (literally) and realize that life doesn't have to always be so serious. It's fine to let loose, enjoy things, and be silly every now and again. Do things that make you smile, take opportunities and go outof your comfort zone. Because the reality is that these very same people you see loving life, are doing this exact same thing. For all you know, they may be stressed beyond belief and stepping out of their comfort zone regularly because they know it inspires positivity and happiness in their life.

Coping With Stress MRR Ebook

Salespage Snapshot: >>> Click Here To View Full Sales Page... Sample Content Preview The problem is that these situations can cause us to act impulsively and in turn can create more problems. Ideally, you should carefully consider your options and solutions, including a full out change in the situation. There's really no boilerplate solution for stressful scenarios that we find ourselves in with life, especially seeing as every person is different. One person's resolution may be to quite their job, while another person might stomach the stress and tough it out until they find a better opportunity. On the other hand, you should ALWAYS consider the consequences of any choice that you make, and never make them in haste. It's certainly worth mentioning that other human interaction can offer a lot of satisfactions, but also, as we're all familiar with, stresses as well. Not just talking with a significant other or partner, but also with close friends and people that you trust on that level. The act of “talking it over” is often helpful, but at the same time, a person's first reaction is to go into defensive or critical mode. The act of criticizing and complaining are obviously counter-productive, and can escalate the conflict further and end up making a bad situation much worse. Every human desires communication of some form, but it's generally preferred for it to be constructive and tactful. It's easy to slip up and ignore the basic ground rules of effective discussion and communication. Ideally, the best situation for “confrontation” would be an already calm situation where all of those involved in the conversation are willing to spend the necessary time to listen and talk as well. Rather than criticizing or complaining, and defensively denying any fault, just take the opportunity to listen. Don't neglect stating what you like about the other person, and the positive elements of the relationship. Share your thoughts but remember the circumstances and tone of the conversation. Let's be honest, if conversation and so on didn't exist, why would you want to remain in the relationship? Be sure to present the difficulties in the right perspective. I can't necessarily go into all of the different effective communication techniques that will help resolve conflicts, but as we all know, there are many. If civil discussions don't seem to help you, then consider other alternatives. If you can't necessarily talk to somebody close to you, then you need to look into the other options that are on the table for you. Winding down this brief “report” or “course” as I like to call it, a lot of this was condensed into a format that makes it presentable in this short time span we've had. Stress is something that everybody faces, regardless of the person, career, or position in life. It's just a matter of how we go about dealing with it, and the steps that we take to counteract the stress and stressors that come our way. In summary though, the general approach to understanding and coping with stress isn't all that complex. For starters, you need to realize that stress isn't something that you can avoid. The aspect of living can cause stress, and the more you explore and live, the more you may be prodded with stress. The way you react is to improve your life. Above that, when stress comes your way, you need to consider the actual cause of the stress itself. And then consider the options for reducing, dealing, or eliminating the stress somewhat or entirely. Still, you should realize that many stress inducing situations can develop over time and will often be quite complicated to understand or solve. With that said, don't expect instant overnight solutions. Consider the solutions as a process in which you may be thrown off, enter blind spots, make mistakes, and so on. But always consider the ways to recover and better resolve the situation as a whole. Also realize that stressful situations and their reactions are not limited to fight or flight and just that. The human species has the capabilities for reasoning and considering constructive options if we stay motivated, realistic, flexible, and of course, remain open to getting professional help if need be. Lastly, understand that an optimistic attitude can be maintained and even learned if necessary, which can help us to better handle the stresses in our lives and in turn, live much more full and happy lives. In closing, always keep an open mind!

Research has proven that getting exercise and fitness into your schedule regularly will help to improve your sleep and also give you more clarity in your mind. It releases end orphins, adrenaline, and a host of other chemicals that help to balance out your mood and your emotions. As such, this makes getting a little bit of exercise regularly can be massively helpful towards reducing the stress in your life. Anything that gets your heart pumping moderately is good for you. You don't have to join a gym or go all out. This doesn't mean you have to make a huge change in your life. And if you can't travel far or go places, even just running up and down the stairs repeatedly is enough to get your heart moving at a brisk rate. 4. Practice Breathing Techniques So many tend to overlook the power of simple breathing techniques. If you consider how your body reacts when you're stressed, having a panic attack, and so on –you'll notice certain traits of your physical state. You may even notice that your breathing becomes much shallower and the breaths are shorter. What you want to do is try and reverse all of these different physical elements of stress, as soon as you feel them occurring (if possible). It's easier in practice: hit the pause button. Take a deep controlled breath, fill your lungs, feel your chest and stomach expand. Slowly exhale your breath of air. Focus on tranquility in your mind, don't continue to focus on what's bothering you. Continue this exercise a few times, and you'll notice the results are almost immediate. Try and make use of this yoga breathing technique: Inhale slowly, counting to eight. Exhale through your mouth, even more slowly, counting to sixteen or so. Make a sighing noise as you exhale, and feel the tension dissolve. Repeat this process ten time or as many times as you find necessary. You truly can't knock it until you try it! That's why you should find a breathing pattern and exercise that feels most natural and relaxing to you. There's no set in stone method for every single person. If you find that you have more time to exercise, that's even better. They say that exercising for 30 minutes per day is one of the best things you can do for both your mind and your body. Not only does it help you keep fit, but it also gets the blood pumping around in your body. While you're doing exercises, there's chemicals being released from your brain that can elevate your mood. 5. Stop Putting Off Problems And Other Things Sure, this sounds simple, but if it's so “simple” then why do people always find themselves immersed in greater problems that could've been resolved way sooner? Maybe it's because in order to take care of issues as they arise, without putting them off, it requires some preparation. For instance, if you're traveling, there's always going to be something that happens. Whether it's flying or driving, you should create a list long in advance of the things that you need when traveling. The sooner in advance you begin planning, the more time you give yourself to recognize things you may have missed. When you have somewhere to be, rather than THINKING you can be prepared in X amount of time, just start earlier. Leave earlier to get to your destination. The more time you leave for error, the less stressful any potential problems that arise will be to deal with. Again, I cannot stress how important lists, and pre-planning is when it comes to preventing stress and even helping to give you purpose and direction for each day. 6. Create A Network Of Support And Friends Did you know that people that are married (happily, obviously) and people that are more outgoing (as in, always meeting new people and being social), tend to have considerably lower levels of stress in their lives? I think it goes without saying that having a support network, and people in your life that are present for you, is something that's going to help you manage stress much better. I'm not talking about people that you gossip with and talk negatively with, though to be fair, I think most people do that from time to time. What you need in your life is people that aren't worriers and don't constantly have a barrage of their own problems. Even “friends” that may mock you or talk negatively about life in general will end up having a negative impact on your level of anxiety. Reach out to people that you know, send an email or message on Facebook to an old friend that you used to talk to. Try to establish these kinds of positive connections, and be more forgiving of others as well. Be honest with those in your life, and you'll find that you have less stress as a result of it. Work to communicate effectively within your environment anywhere you go. Whether it's to co-workers, higher ups, or friends. Ask questions, and get clarity. You should always remember that “perfectionism” is not the means to happiness.

Chapter 2: Why you should use LinkedIn Ads for your Business LinkedIn is a social networking site like no other because people in there already knew what they were after when they signed up: to advance their careers. So advertising to these people becomes much less tricky than it would be to advertise to people on other social media platforms such as Facebook, where targeting can get vague at some point and you can lose a little track of where your intended market is going. Awesome Benefits Let’s start by mentioning something awesome that has taken our “awesome benefits” top spot: LinkedIn fills a very specific niche, which gives you a very specific audience to work with. That along with a plethora of other factors are what make LinkedIn ads a great fit for your business. Here we have summarized a list with the ones more likely to compel you: Very big and highly targeted audience. LinkedIn ads will give you access to a very big and highly targeted audience. Currently, there are over 300 million active users all over the world and over 100 million of those people are active users from the United States alone. Unique targeting opportunities LinkedIn ads will grant you unique targeting opportunities because you can target people based on their job titles. This is because unlike more traditional social media platforms, LinkedIn is built around allowing its users to input more information around their professional backgrounds. This means that you can target people based not only by their job titles, but also by data such as their field of work and industry, the name of the company where they work, their skills and the LinkedIn groups where they participate, besides the usual demographic data such as location, gender, age bracket and interests. Business Centric Interactions LinkedIn ads perform in a platform built around business centric interactions, so Business to Business advertising looks completely natural and does not feel intrusive to people precisely because like we said, it is first and foremost a professional networking tool. You will be marketing straight to the decision makers By advertising on LinkedIn you will be marketing straight to the decision makers. This is especially good if you are promoting a product targeted at enterprising clients. If you promote this type of product on social media like Facebook or on search engines through display campaigns, it will be more difficult to reach those business professionals that you’re after! Global diversification opportunities Global diversification opportunities are also a great benefit of marketing with LinkedIn ads. You can end up with a juicy business opportunity from anywhere in the world because many global companies have their own presence on LinkedIn and, just like you, they also want to reach the most people and diversify to different markets. You pay for how you want your ad to perform. LinkedIn ads will allow you to pay for how you want your ad to perform. You can pay per click, which means that you will only pay for every time that someone clicks on one of your ads, or you can pay per impressions, which means that you will pay only for every time someone sees your add whether they interact with it or not. Why Facebook? Well, simply put, Facebook is the most used social network worldwide, and it is the most effective advertising platform that any brand can use. Besides that, Facebook Offers you Remarketing. Yeah, there are different types of ads that Facebook provides for you to precisely implement remarketing. Facebook has made it possible for you to show your ads exactly to the people you want, who had already shown interest in your business in several different ways. Thanks to Facebook being the largest social media in the world, there is a huge possibility you'll find all of your existing and potential customers browsing this social media monster, and getting engaged by your retargeting ads. They spend a lot time there, see ads related to their interests and may take action with you in mind as an option when they want to buy something! This gives you more space to find new customers, or engage those who have seen your business somewhere else online. Understanding the Facebook advertising platform is one of the most productive practices you can do to grow your business, and that’s why you're here now! What Remarketing Services does Facebook offer? Facebook offers you absolutely amazing remarketing services to reach the people who matter to you the most. Remarketing on Facebook is called Custom Audiences. Facebook offers you four different opportunities to remarket to your current and future prospects. Customer File: With this remarketing feature, you can use a customer file to match your customers with people on Facebook, and create an audience from those matches. Website traffic: With this remarketing feature, you can create a list of people who visit your website or view specific web pages. App Activity: With this one, you can create a list of people who have taken a specific action in your app or game. Engagement on Facebook: With this new feature, you can create a list of people who have engaged your content on Facebook. The intention of all these features is to remarket by using regular Facebook Ads. Besides this, Facebook offers you two other features to help you get the most out of Remarketing. Lookalike audiences: With this one, you can reach new people who are similar to audiences you already care about. You can create a lookalike audience based on people who like your Page, conversion pixels or any of your existing Custom Audiences. Saved audiences: With this one, you can save your commonly used targeting options for easy reuse. Choose your demographics, interests and behaviours, then save them to reuse in future advertisements. Awesome Benefits Drive more conversions Creating custom audiences to target website visitors who didn’t convert is an amazing way to stay in contact with them. They already have an idea about you, but converting first-time visitors into buyers takes time. With promotions and interactive ads on Facebook, you can change that! Maybe not all of them, but Facebook opens the door for you to convert anyone, even exclude those that have already converted. Flexible Budget Compared to search engines, Facebook remarketing has a lower cost per click. Facebook is social media, you'll expose your ad to users while they're seeing friends on shares, and you choose how much you want to pay for this service. You can invest a low cost per click and grow your bidding, while you’re getting results and growing your business. Increase your reaching opportunities With Facebook, you can reach those who behave like the audience you have already focus upon, and you know can give you the results you want depending on their actions. Do this when creating a lookalike audience to reach potential customers a lot quicker. Campaign Control With Facebook Ads advertising, you can avoid advertising fatigue. By being creative, you can edit your campaign at any time, update your ads, customize your audience, change the type or ads you’re using and your campaign strategy Widespread Analytics You’ll have a wide space of analytics to test whether something works or not BEFORE you launch the ad. You can do this by accessing the data through the “insights” tab. Facebook will provide you the necessary information, so you don’t have to struggle between conversion rates and other social metrics. You can also watch how it compares with the competition. Shocking Facts When looking at more than 1 billion impressions from 547 advertisers running retargeting campaigns on Facebook's right-hand side, Facebook News Feed, and standard Web retargeting, after just one month, Facebook's News Feed accounted for 15% of clicks, despite having just 0.5% of the total ad impressions. The next question is… how do you go about doing it? In the title of this ebook we set out a very clear objective: to gain a 1,000- strong mailing list within 30 days. This objective is for everyone. You don't need to already have a website with tons of regular visitors (in which case it will be easy for you), you don't need to have another mailing list already and you won't need to have any powerful contacts in the digital marketing industry (though of course all these things help!). This strategy will work for anyone and you should find that a mailing list of 1,000 is completely ample when it comes to making conversions. With 1,000 subscribers you should expect to be able to get conversions of at least 0.5-1%. Realistically that means 50-100 buyers – which if you have a $30 digital product will net you $3,000 a pop. That's not bad going and it's certainly not a bad wage for one month of work! 0.5-1% conversions is a realistic and modest target. What's more, 1,000 subscribers is something you can very likely gun for successfully as we'll see. But it doesn't stop there: once you have that first 1,000 you'll find you start to get exponential gains. The more subscribers you build, the more you will continue to build as you gather momentum, get the hang of it and leverage your existing contacts. If you got 1,000 subscribers every month for the next year, then you would have 12,000 by the end of it – which is a pretty hefty list. More likely though, you'll find that your rewards double each month. Month one you'll get 1,000, month two will be 2,000 and so on. If you followed that pattern, then by the end of the year you would have… well… a lot. To gain 1,000 subscribers in 30 days, you would need about 33 (point three recurring) new subscribers every day. Let's call it 34. That might sound like a lot but this isn't really the way you should be thinking about it. What you'll find is that you're much more likely to get 200 in one day and 500 in another. You might have a couple of days where you get none. We'll be using different strategies throughout the month and you'll find it's almost impossible to predict which ones will be the big winners for you. So that's the plan and the aim. 1,000 subscribers. 30 days. Before you read on, I want you to completely commit to this objective. At times it will be tough and there will of course be work involved – but once you get the hang of it and once the subscribers start coming in it will be more than worth it. A huge mailing list can actually set you up for life and you can end up as one of those 'super affiliates' living on the beach and using your private jet to visit Mum. And it all starts here. So make that pledge, then read on! Chapter 3: What You Will need The first step towards your huge list is going to be signing up to a few essential services and getting a few tools. You can't build and manage a list all on your lonesome, so read on and we'll look at some of the things you'll need to get this ball rolling. Consider this a little bit like the ingredients for the recipe we're about to make. Autoresponder The first and most important thing you will need to build and manage your mailing list is an autoresponder. An autoresponder is basically a tool that lets you send e-mails out to large groups of people, that stores your addresses and that lets you easily manage them. Autoresponders also allow you to easily build your own opt-in forms which are the little forms you'll place on your site for people to join up. These are necessary for a few different reasons. For starters, a professional looking opt-in form will make your mailing list seem more professional. This in turn will mean that people are more likely to be interested in signing up and it will mean that they'll expect higher quality. Make the form yourself and you risk making it look a little like an amateurish job – so use a professional tool instead. Moreover though, it's simply impossible to manage a huge mailing list without one of these tools. When you run a mailing list, you need to protect yourself against spam, you need to make sure that people confirm their interest in signing up and you need to give people the opportunity to unsubscribe. You'll also probably want to send out a welcome message to all your new members. With an autoresponder all this is made much easier. Autoresponders will handle all these different jobs automatically, meaning that you don't have to manually add and remove people from your list or manually welcome new members. If you were to at some point have a mailing list of hundreds of thousands of members you'd end up spending all day adding and removing people from your list – and that's why you need an autoresponder to do it for you. Choosing Your Autoresponder When it comes to signing up for an autoresponder, you have a number of different options. The big three names here though are MailChimp, Aweber and GetResponse. Each varies slightly in terms of the number of e-mails you can keep on the list and for what price. Unfortunately it's not as easy as simply comparing three prices as the pricing structure for each one gets a little complicated. Instead then, refer to the grid below and you can see which ones offer the best rates under different conditions.

Salespage Snapshot: >>> Click Here To View Full Sales Page... Sample Content Preview But what if you were already having a lousy day? Maybe you lost your job, or you had a disagreement with your significant other. Maybe the bills are piling up and you're losing your house. Perhaps this is the last straw for you on that day. In this case, you might speed up to the driver, and maybe you'll give him the finger, shout out the window at him, which feeds the altercation. This might end in a car accident or a physical engagement such as a fight. This could escalate into somebody becoming severely injured, or even death. Then later one of the family member's wants reparations and ends up taking your family or you to court. I know this seems a bit over the top, but it's not far-fetched to believe that things like this happen just about every single day in the world. The reality of it is that you and many others can control the situation's outcome by simply taking control of your emotions and how you feel. By taking steps to remove the stress in your life or at the very least, controlling it, you'll find yourself to be in a situation where you can better control your reactions to the different scenarios that life throws your way. That's why in this brief but hopefully informative course, I'm going to detail just ten major things that I've found to help reduce the stress in my life. You can use these however you want, apply them in different ways, and adapt them to suit your life the best way they can. If you want to reduce the stress in your life, then strap yourself in and get ready... In this section, I'm going to cover a handful of tips and methods that you can implement into your every day life which will help you better deal with stress and even prevent stress from invading into your happiness. 1. Breathe Deeply. Practice Breathing Techniques Regularly. A lot of people seem to overlook how easy and useful this tactic can be for relieving stress, especially in the heat of the moment. I know, the advice “take a deep breath” may seem cliché. But it really does hold true when it comes to stress. Take a minute or two break from life to focus on your breathing. Sit up straight and close your eyes if possible, and put your hand on your belly. Slowly inhale through your nose, feeling the breath of air start in your abdomen and progress it's way to the top of your head. Next, reverse the process as you exhale through your mouth. It's been said that deep breathing counters the effects of stress by slowing the heart rate and lowering the body's blood pressure. Buddhist monks have been known to be very conscious of deliberate breathing during meditation because of this. Another method you can use it to sit up in your chair with your feet flat on the floor and your hands on top of your knees. Breathe in and out slowly, with deep full breaths while also concentrating on your lungs as they expand and contract in your chest. Many doctors and researchers have actually found that shallow breathing is consistent with increased stress and deep breathing fills your blood with oxygen and in turn helps to center your body and clear your mind. 2. Meditate For A Period Of Time In The Morning And Evening It should come as no surprise to you that meditation is an excellent way to help relieve your stress. When performed correctly, it should release your mind and allow you to focus on peace. Many people struggle with meditation at first, because it can be a little tricky. And in all honesty, it does take a little bit of time to learn. There's many great articles and even courses on how to meditate, but you can easily get started by simply sitting in the corner or somewhere peace, closing your eyes and listening to music or soaking in the sounds around you. Some meditation guru's will even encourage you to listen to those natural sounds during the process, and to even burn some sort of incense to help break the stress that's present in your body. 3. Listen To Music That Promotes Your Chilled Out Mood Listening to the right music is super important when you're trying to reduce stress in your life and find your inner balance. Some music can in fact heighten your stress levels when you listen to it. One type of music that researchers have proven to help stress levels is “baroque” music. This music is based around a tempo of 60 beats per minute, which coincidentally is about the rate that our heart should be. Baroque music has actually been shown to increase the alpha waves in both the left and right sides of your brain which assist in improving your learning ability, calmness and even your creativity. Because of this, many corporate trainers have now incorporated this style of music during memory training sessions to better assist their students in improving both their comprehension and their memory. Of course, you should focus on the kind of music that you like and which brings comfort to you. So this point will different depending on who you are and what your tastes are. 4. Exercise, Even If It's Just For A Minute Or Two Each Day Listen, exercising doesn't have to be power lifting at the gym or training for some sort of marathon event. A simple short stroll around the office or block, or even just standing up to stretch during a break at work can often times be just the immediate stress relief you need in some situations. Getting your blood flowing releases endorphin's and can actually improve your mood almost instantaneously. 5. Make It A Point To Eat Right With A Healthy Diet Studies have linked that stress levels are directly impacted by a proper diet. The problem is that when we're overwhelmed and stressed out, we often ignore healthy eating habits. This results in eating sugary, fatty snack foods as a quick pick-me-up to satisfy our hunger and even our mood. Try to avoid sugary snacks and plan ahead if possible. Fruits and vegetables are obviously a great choice, and fish with higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids have also been shown to help reduce the symptoms and levels of stress. This means that a tuna sandwich is truly beneficial to both your mood and your brain as well. 6. Try To Drink At Least Eight Glass of Water Per Day I'm sure you know this already, but without water, humans and most living things can't survive. After all, it's been said to be one of the most precious resources that we possess on the planet. With that said, to maintain your health, most doctors and medical professionals will recommend a MINIMUM of eight glasses of water per day. This means PLAIN WATER. As in flavored water or coffee certainly does not count towards that goal. You'll truly be amazed at how much better you feel and less stress you become as you hydrate more every day. 7. Limit Both Alcohol AND Coffee Consumption Alcohol and coffee are both considered great sources of stress, seeing as they both increase the heart rate and make us more prone to stress situations. If you can, try to limit the amount of coffee and alcohol that you consume each day, and you will almost certainly notice that your level of stress will decrease. Some researchers say that consuming one to two glasses of alcohol like a red wine, per day, can be a healthy choice. But since we're focused on reducing stress, it's a good idea to consult with your doctor or physician to check if this is the best decision for you. Another thing to be cautious about is that caffeine can often give you a “high” which you will become dependent on over time. This certainly won't be beneficial towards reducing the amount of stress that's present in your life. 8. Schedule Breaks Throughout Your Day We all know how stressful work can be, whether it's the environment, the coworkers, or the tasks at hand – it can all add up rather quickly. One of the biggest blunders that people make in their work life is to neglect taking breaks throughout the day to refresh the mind. In actuality, there's no real legal business on the planet that will require anybody to work 24 hours per day non-stop. Researchers have actually proven that if you don't schedule at least 1 hour for a break every day, you're far more likely to have health issues over a prolonged period of time. Always remember that life is truly short in the grand scheme of things. Don't waste all of your time on work. Take the time to go out and enjoy your day regardless of where you are. Make sure that you schedule a number of (short) breaks during the work day. Even if you just take that time to go outside for 5 minutes to get some fresh air and a drink. That sort of break will help you to clear your mind and allow you to prepare yourself to tackle the rest of the work for the day. 9. Identify At Least One Good Thing That Happened Today This will definitely sound a bit generic in terms of advice and tips, but it's such solid advice that if you haven't started doing this, you really should consider it. Every evening all over the world, families and / or friends congregate in the evenings or after work and vent about their day and the events that it was made up of. However, instead of creating a negative atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door and sit down, try starting off on a different note. Do this by exchanging good news and things that were positive about your day. It's really not difficult at all to address the good things that happened in life, and as a result, you'll find yourself more grateful for the things you have. You'll also find that you're better able to face stressors and other unfortunate occurrences in your day. 10. Be Prepared (Prepare For Tomorrow And The Future) It's true that nothing can be more stressful than walking into a situation being completely unprepared. That's why you should invest some time every day towards getting ready for the following day. This could be as simple as drafting up a short to-do list and even cleaning up your environment and living area before you settle down for the evening. Knowing that you have all of the different bases covered means that you'll be far less likely to fret about things that need to get done in the evenings or when you're not busy with work and other stuff.
