Sample Content Preview So going back to the example we’re working with here: the fitness brand. What is the ‘dream’ in this case? Simple: if you have a fitness brand, then your dream is to be healthy, to look amazing, to be physically intimidating and to have more luck in relationships. People who are physically very fit will look and feel amazing. They will wake up first thing in the morning with tons of energy. They will put on clothes and look excellent in them. They will draw positive attention from the opposite sex. They will perform better in their careers by virtue of looking more attractive: all these things are going to help them to get what they want in life and to feel great doing it. And when you learn how to sell that on Instagram, you can build a massive loyal following and sell pretty much anything… How to Sell the Dream on Instagram So how do you sell that dream on Instagram? And why is Instagram a platform that allows you to do this better than nearly other platform? Partly, it is the visual nature. You know what they say: a picture can tell a thousand words. You can tell your audience that they should be fitter and healthier but that will pale in comparison to the emotional impact you’d get from showing them that healthy and fit lifestyle! Likewise, Instagram will lend itself naturally because Instagram is all about making the everyday and the mundane look desirable and artistic. That’s what the ‘filters’ that you get from Instagram are all about. When you apply a filter to a photo, you are making it a little ‘hyper real’ and thereby increasing the emotional content. You are taking what you do and you are making it look that much more idealized. That is how you sell the dream, that is how you get an emotional response and that is how you build a following. So if you have a fitness brand, what you need to do is to paint the lifestyle that you are selling. That means uploading photos of people running on beaches topless with beautiful sunsets behind them. These people have got incredible abs, bronze skin and maybe they’re running next to a stunning man or woman, laughing. The same channel might show a guy in a suit but bursting out of it thanks to his bulging biceps, with incredible determination. It might show a woman doing yoga in front of a sunrise while drinking a smoothie. It might show a photo of someone training hard in the gym and looking incredible doing it. To someone who wants to be fitter and healthier, to someone who wants to feel better about themselves, you are painting their ideal future. Your objective is not to make them feel inadequate about themselves: your objective is to make them feel inspired and to help them to dream about that perfect future. Therefore, they will be moved to do what they can to get there and hopefully they will follow your advice to get there. When your advice becomes ‘buy this product’, they will be motivated by those powerful emotions to do just that. You have aligned their goals and dreams with your product and brand and in doing so, you have made it incredibly desirable. How to Tell a Thousand Words So what does this look like in practice? A good place to start is by identifying your brand and your mission statement. Make sure that you know precisely what your brand is and what it is that you hope to achieve through your product. Don’t just be about the money: have something more than that that you want to do for people. Have a purpose and a goal, so that your followers can feel almost as though they are joining a movement when they hit that ‘follow’ button. Create a brand that people can feel excited about. Once you’ve done that, you can identify the kinds of pictures and videos you need to start uploading. This will allow you to make sure that you remain on-brand at all times and on-message. Consistency is highly important here, as if you are constantly posting about different subjects, then you will find that your followers become frustrated and unsubscribe. If someone follows a fitness brand on Instagram, they do so because they are interested in fitness and they want to see more of that type of content. They do not do it because they want to see photos of your dog. Stay on-message then and post every single day at least. To help you do this, something you can do is to take a bunch of photos in a few days and then keep them in a folder to fall back on on the days when you don’t have much that you can use. Spend a day with a high quality photo and build up a selection of photos that way. As for the type of that you take, you need to make these look as professional and as well composed as possible. Professional photos will help you to build authority and trust in your niche and will make you feel like a legitimate outfit, rather than some hobbyist taking photos in their spare time. Meanwhile, you need to know how to frame and compose your shots in order to get the maximum emotional benefit… Hardware The first way to increase the quality of the photos that you are taking is to get a high quality camera. A great camera will be one that has a good sensor, a high quality lens and lots of options allowing you to control things like the shutter speed. Usually, this is going to mean either a DSLR camera, or a bridge camera. Using this and then uploading your photos via a USB will result in much higher production values than simply relying on your phone – and especially if you also invest in some good lighting. Getting a lightbox can help a great deal as that way you’re not always going to be relying on it being sunny weather outside in order to take your photos. Having a good camera phone is a good idea too though, as many of the photos you take will probably be spur of the moment and things that you snap while out and about – especially if you have a personal brand and if you live the lifestyle you preach. Take your camera to the gym and get the occasional photo so that people can feel like they’re a part of your workouts! Some Tips for Taking Great Photos Perhaps more important than the equipment is the wetware – the person behind the camera. You need to know how to tell a story and how to make it into something that inspires people. So what does it mean to tell a story? It means that your photo needs to communicate more than is in the frame. Think about that shot of someone doing sit ups on the beach in the evening. What does that tell you about this person and about their lifestyle? Sure, it says that they have great abs and they look good too. But it also tells you that they live somewhere beautiful and that they have the free time to actually enjoy that area of natural beauty. It also tells you that they have plenty of energy – enough energy to be working out at this time. And it tells you that they’re dedicated. All these things are desirable and especially if they’re tanned, good looking and wearing great clothes too!

5 Steps To Become A Better You MRR Ebook With Audio

Sample Content Preview Travelling is incredibly important not only for your happiness and your sense of accomplishment and purpose, but also to make you a more rounded and even a more decent human being. Did you know that people are rated as more tolerant and understanding if they went to college? This has nothing to do with education or background – it is simply that people who have moved away from home have less narrow views and a better understanding of the wider world. And this is even truer for those people who travel far and wide and mingle with other cultures and see other places for themselves. This broadens your mind and gives you a ‘bigger picture’ view. It can also help you to put things in perspective a little and to realize that many of your troubles and your concerns are actually somewhat petty in comparison to the hunger and poverty you encounter in other parts of the world. People who have travelled and had adventures will be naturally more interesting to talk to because they’ll have such a breadth of experiences to share and because they’ll appear more worldly and more knowledgeable. But it’s simply rubbing shoulders with people from different cultures and experiencing unique locales that will truly develop you. To get a little deeper in our understanding of how travelling can change and improve a person, it pays to consider the philosophies of Georg Hegel. Hegel believed that it was crucial that we challenge our ideas in order to develop them and to gain a more accurate world view. He described this as requiring a specific process. The ‘thesis’ is the original idea that you have. The antithesis is the opposite view. And the synthesis is the resultant idea that takes lessons from both views. In order for us to be as knowledgeable and as effective as possible, it is crucial that we challenge our existing ideas and develop them by incorporating other ideas. Refusal to do this otherwise will eventually result in our own demise, as we become more and more attached to defunct and irrelevant concepts. Without these outside views and experiences to challenge us, we simply become more and more extreme in our own views. This happens through ‘confirmation bias’ as we seek out more knowledge to confirm what we already hold to be true. And it happens through ‘convergence’ and ‘divergence’, the likelihood of in-groups becoming more similar to each other and less similar to outgroups. We can look to nature for a great analogy. In nature, the single most important thing for the survival of our DNA is diversity. We seek mates for procreation because they are different from us and because they introduce new genetic material into our makeup. If we continually in-bread, then the flaws and imperfections in our DNA become exaggerated to the point that we can even become deformed or unwell as a species! Conversely, having offspring with people of different cultures and from different regions will create stronger DNA that is less prone to illness. The same goes for our ideas. This is why it is so good for us as a species to overcome borders and differences and to interact with others that are diverse and varied as possible. By challenging and constantly reassessing your ideas and beliefs, you will come out with stronger, more accurate and more useful ideas and beliefs. Travel is one of the greatest things you can do for the mind and the soul. Meditate If there’s one new habit you should consider adopting, then it is meditation. Meditation is simply practiced focus and concentration. Here, you will put yourself in a quiet environment and then focus on clearing your mind of distracting and unwanted thoughts. You will be ruminating on stressful topics, and you will gradually become better at focussing and remaining calm. This is an incredibly powerful skill because it gives you the ability to rise above stress and panic and to remain calm no matter what is going on around you. This can make you a happier individual, as you’ll be less bothered by hard days at work or large deadlines but it can also make you more effective as you gain greater control over your emotional response, more emotional stability and the ability to concentrate more effectively on given tasks. And did you know that meditation physically changes the structure of the brain? It has been demonstrated to increase ‘cortical thickness’, which means that there is more grey matter and a greater density of neural connections. Studies also show that meditation can improve concentration, focus, emotional stability and even IQ. In other words, meditating makes you a more focussed and even more intelligent individual. This can be a difficult habit to get into, especially if you are someone who is unfamiliar with how meditation works, or perhaps who has never considered it in the past. The simplest form of mediation is mindfulness meditation. Here, you simply sit somewhere quietly and ‘watch’ your thoughts go by. The idea is to allow them to pass by like clouds without engaging in them or worrying about their content. Don’t punish yourself for letting your mind wander, just make a note of the thought and then dismiss it. Not only does this teach you to rise above your thoughts and be less concerned by them but it also helps you to gain a greater understanding of the contents of your own mind so that you can predict your own reactions to future scenarios.

How to Get Started With Meditation? Tips Correct Breathing for Stress Reduction Chapter 05 - Mindfulness and CBT Cognitive Restructuring Conclusion Sample Content Preview In the short term, this is good for us. In the short term, these things help us to evade danger and win combative situations. Increased muscle tension makes us stronger. Increased blood viscosity makes our blood more likely to clot in case of an injury. Dilated pupils let more light in to improve our vision. Suppression of secondary functions means that more blood can be sent to the muscles and the brain. Reduced pain means we can carry on fighting or running despite injury. In short, anything that can help you to survive is prioritized, while secondary functions are suppressed. The idea is that once we get to safety, we can then turn off this fight or flight response and instead enter the ‘rest and digest’ state in order to recover. Once the predator is gone, we can recover. But the problem is that in our modern environments, predators aren’t the main problem. It’s rare these days for us to be chased, to get into a fight or to need to escape a forest fire. What’s not so rare, is for our boss to shout at us and to tell us that we’re late for our deadline. It’s not rare for us to be in debt. It’s not rare for us to have marital problems. And unfortunately, the brain interprets all these signals in just the same way: as threats. And this causes the same fight or flight response. But because these types of threats aren’t so easily resolved, this means we’ll often end up on heightened alert for a longer period of time. This is also why stress causes impotence in men. If you are highly stressed, blood is sent everywhere except the genitals! And this takes a tremendous toll on our bodies. As you might imagine: it is not good for you when your immune system and digestive system are suppressed for days. It’s also not good for your brain to be flooded with norepinephrine and cortisol. It’s not good for your heartrate to stay elevated, or your blood pressure to stay high. This is the problem with chronic stress as opposed to acute stress. And it’s the problem with heightened levels of stress, as opposed to the gentle, motivating force of ‘eustress’. We’ll look at all of this more in the long term, but suffice to say that the longer stress like this continues, the more you start to feel drained, malnourished, fatigued, ill and possibly eventually depressed. How Stress Damages the Brain When we are stressed, it effectively makes us less intelligent. This is due to the reduction in pre-frontal activity, which in turn is designed to make us more focussed and alert. Essentially, the pre-frontal cortex is the part of the brain responsible for forward planning, creative thinking and other ‘high-order’ brain activity. When you are being chased by a lion though, it is really not the time to be thinking about the meaning of life! So shutting down this part of the brain and placing your focus on feedback from your senses makes much more sense. Of course that’s not particularly useful in the workplace though: and this is why the stress response is so seriously unhelpful when we have to give a presentation, answer a question on the spot or go on a date. This is when we lose all articulation and start stammering and saying useless things. Slightly longer-term is adrenal fatigue. This is what happens when your brain has exhausted its supply of adrenaline and other stress hormones. That might sound like a good thing but you actually need a little norepinephrine, dopamine and cortisol to stay motivated – and even to wake up in the morning! Adrenal fatigue leaves you listless, demotivated and potentially depressed. It can also cause what is known as ‘learned helplessness’ – a condition where you essentially completely give up because your brain has been conditioned to learn that any attempts to change its situation will be met with failure. Not good! Worse, when you are highly stressed, it can lead to long term problems for your brain health. As we briefly mentioned: it can literally shrink your brain! Studies show that in the long term, it leads to structural changes that shrink the hippocampus and shrink grey matter – the all-important neural connections throughout the brain. Even a single, severe traumatic event can result in significant reductions in the medial PFC, anterior cingulate and subgenual regions of the brain. The effects of ‘cumulative adversity’ meanwhile, cause smaller volumes in the medial prefrontal cortex (the PFC), insular cortex and anterior cingulate regions. These regions of the brain correspond with emotional control, decision-making, reasoning and self control. In other words, the eventual result of stress is to leave you more reactionary, more depressive, more impulsive and less disciplined. From here, every aspect of your life will start to see negative effects. But there are things you can do about it… Chapter 02 – The Complexity of Your Stress Systems But what if you’re not stressed? What if your work isn’t particularly high pressured, your relationships are good and you have plenty of money? Does that mean you’re fine? Probably not. Unfortunately, many other aspects of our modern lifestyles cause symptoms similar to those of stress. One example is our use of technology and artificial lighting. The brain is designed to use external cues (‘zeitgebers’ to use correct terminology) to set its own biological rhythms including the sleep-wake cycle (circadian rhythm). This actually triggers the release of stress hormones at certain times of day. That’s because stress hormones are one of the tools that the body uses to wake itself up when you are sleeping. The release of stress hormones like cortisol and norepinephrine triggers activity in the brain that stirs you out of sleep and makes you fully alert. But if the light is on at night, or you’re looking at your phone in the evening, this will cause the release of similar stress hormones right when you’re meant to be relaxing. That means you’ll continue to feel alert and won’t give your brain time to recover. And what doesn’t help is the way that everything on the web and on TV is designed to grab our attention and pull us this way and that – this has been shown to cause effects similar to ADHD in the long term and make it harder for us to concentrate on any one thing for very long.

Before you start, you may want to find a way to incorporate these techniques into your routine to make the process of switching to a keto diet a bit easier: Plan Your Meals Eliminating carbohydrates can be difficult at first simply because they are the star of most western diets. Adjust to a keto diet by planning every meal you eat. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Do not leave it up to chance because it might be more challenging to stick to your keto diet if you do this. Part 2 is completely dedicated to meal planning, so I won't spend much time on this now. Make It Fun Most people think of diets and sigh. Try to make your keto diet fun so that you can stick to it longer. Getting a keto recipe book or doing it with your friends can be a great way to make the diet more fun and engaging. The more fun you make it, the more rewarding the diet feels. Not to mention, it will be easier to stick to it if you make it fun. If you like cooking, definitely try to find keto versions of your favorite meals. That's a great way to keep it fun and fresh. If you don't like cooking, then maybe it is time to start. Try Intermittent Fasting As I have previously mentioned, intermittent fasting is a great way to kickstart ketosis. Even after you have reached ketosis, try to incorporate intermittent fasting into your daily life anyway. Intermittent fasting paired with keto is a great way to see weight loss results fast. At the same time, they are also healthy to use together. Listen to Your Body Many people who support a keto diet don't tell you this: you need to listen to your body. Not everyone needs the same amount of carbohydrates. Some people will need more than others. Your goal should never be to eliminate all carbohydrates. Listen to your body first and foremost. The goal of any diet should be to make you healthier, not sicker. If your body does not feel right, you need to adjust the diet to live the healthiest and happiest version of yourself possible. PART 2 – MEAL PLANNING Meal planning is when you plan out what meals and snacks you are going to eat in advance. Depending on your schedule, you can either plan out your meals but make them the day of it or make all of the meals in advance, put them in a freezer, and reheat them up later on in the week. No matter what approach you prefer, meal planning is a great way to make sure you stick to your diet, even on the days when you feel tired. In Part 2, we are going to look at how to meal plan and give you meal plan ideas. Use Part 2 as inspiration for starting your ketogenic diet journey in a way that is fun, exciting, and easy to follow. How to Meal Plan Do you ever think you're going to eat healthily, but your plans are derailed by a busy week? Whether you have had a busy day at work or don't feel good, it might be difficult to stick to your diet when the realities of life come knocking at your door. That is where meal planning comes in. Meal planning takes a lot of the stress and pressure away from preparing your meals. It forces you to plan your meals so that you don't have to think about food on your working or busy days. No matter what diet you prefer, meal planning is a great way to make sure you stick to it and hold yourself accountable for eating healthily. In this chapter, we are going to look at what meal planning means. Though you probably already have a general notion of what it is, this chapter goes into more detail so that you can start meal planning now. Meal Planning and Meal Prepping Meal planning means planning your meals in advance. Most people like to meal plan on a Saturday or Sunday when they don't have as much work to do. This makes it much easier to eat healthily on the days that you are busy with work and other pressures of life. To meal plan, come up with the meals and snacks you intend to eat for the week. Depending on what you have in your pantry, you may need to go to the grocery store to get any ingredients or items. You may want to write down the recipes or ideas for the week, so you don't forget later on. The beauty of meal planning is that you have ample time to figure out what you want to eat. This gives you plenty of time to look online or on Pinterest for yummy ideas that you are dying to try. Some people like to take meal planning a step further and try meal prepping as well. Meal prepping is when you also make the meals in advance. Most people will make meals on a Sunday and then put them in the freezer. As the week goes on, you pop the frozen meals into the microwave or oven for quick and easy homemade meals. Meal prepping is great for those who know that they are having a busy week. It means you won't have to take the time even to make the meals later on. Steps for Creating a Great Meal Plan Creating a meal plan is pretty easy. It really only takes four steps, and most of them you already do. You just might not do them as organized or keto centric as I am recommending. 1. Find Recipes When you meal plan, you need to think of your recipes in advance. Look in keto cookbooks or online for keto recipes that you can try out. Remember, look for recipes that are high in fat and low in carbohydrates. The only way you will stick to your diet is to find that eating keto is enjoyable and satisfying. Try different recipes to find your favorites. Don't eat the same thing every day because you will quickly grow bored of it and potentially get mineral deficiencies. Try a variety of recipes to keep yourself feeling happy, full, and satisfied with your diet. I will offer recipes at the end of this book but feel free to look online for other sources and recipes. If you have a favorite meal, try to find a keto version of it. Today, there are so many options that allow you to eat exactly what you want while still maintaining your diet. Remember: the keto diet is a lifestyle. Try to incorporate it into your life as best as you can. More than just your meals, also meal plan for snacks and desserts. So many pesky carbs and calories are hidden in snacks. Prevent yourself from overeating on snacks by meal planning accordingly. 2. Target Recipes for Your Ratios Once you know what recipes you might be interested in, come up with a plan every week for how you want your meals to go. This includes selecting recipes that match your intended ratios. Make sure that your weekly plan consists of a variety of vitamins and minerals to keep you healthy. For example, if you have spinach and chicken on Monday, you might want to opt for steak and peppers on Tuesday. This gives you a variety to look forward to that is also healthy and packed full of fat and vitamins. 3. Get Ingredients After you have decided on what meals you intend to make throughout the week, get all of the ingredients and items in advance. Waiting until the day of to get your ingredients is a surefire way to ruin your diet since there might be some days when you don't want to go to the grocery store. You may even want to mark what meals the ingredients go with in advance. This will make it super easy to cook the meals whenever the time comes. No matter what style you have for storing your ingredients, just make sure you get them in advance to be more motivated to cook later on.

Sample Content Preview you are not at that stage yet then you will have to work hard to get the attention of people that don’t know you. This is certainly possible. If you are in a one on one situation then you need to observe them carefully. What are they wearing? If you are in their home or office what stands out as interesting? You can then talk about these things and align your message to them. To get the attention of a lot of people your message needs to resonate with something they are having a problem with in their personal or business life. Promise them that you have the answers to their problems. 3. Mutual Understanding The third principle of influence and persuasion is a mutual understanding. Both parties need to understand each other. You need to understand what your audience wants and they need to understand your message. There are many ways that you can present a message. Even if you knew how people could go out and find $1 million today, if you present this wrong then nobody will believe you and the impact of your message will be extremely weak. All of the above rules of influence and persuasion play into each other. In order for people to understand your message you have to present it in a way that they will understand. You can only know the best way to present your message by knowing about your audience first. The key to effective influence and persuasion is about knowing how your audience sees the world and presenting your message in a way that is congruent with their perceived view. How you see the world is not important at all. If everyone perceived the world in the same way then you would have no need for influence and persuasion. Everyone would live in harmony and make the same decisions as each other. Of course this is never going to be the case as human beings have unique characteristics that define them as unique individuals. Adaptive Influence and Persuasion Before we get on the the next principle of influence it is worth mentioning adaptive influence and persuasion. This is where the real power of influence and persuasion come in. Everyone is different with different morals, values and beliefs. This means that we all see the world in a different way, so as a master influencer you need to adapt to how others are seeing things. It is easier to use adaptive persuasion in one to one sales meetings. You read your prospect and then adapt your approach to make them compliant. Adaptive persuasion works with larger audiences too but you need to accept that you will not convince everyone. The alternative to adaptive persuasion is non-adaptive. Here you use the same message with everyone. Think about copywriting as an example. The same message is used on a sales page for a product online. This is a numbers game. If the copy influences most people then that is the best that you can hope for. 4. Know the Game The fourth and final principle of influence and persuasion is knowing the game. In order to be a master influencer there are specific principles that exist that you must follow. It is essential that you know what these rules are and what they mean. There has been a great deal of research over the years and there is a lot of scientific evidence to support how people think, behave and can be influenced or persuaded to think and behave in a way that you want them to. Use this to your advantage. In the next chapter we will discuss the benefits and importance of influence… In order to become a master of influence you will need to make a number of changes in your life and implement the influencer secrets that we will reveal later in this guide. To be successful you will need to be inspired and motivated each day to make the necessary changes. So in this chapter we will discuss the importance and benefits of influence. The most influential people in the world not only had the power to wield their influence over many people but they took action and were influential in their lives. It is pointless you learning all of the great techniques in this guide and then not using your influence. The Importance of Influence Being a master influencer has nothing to do with the amount of money that you have or don’t have or your upbringing or background. Your ability to influence others is down to who you have become and the traits that you possess. When you have the power of influence you will be able to achieve all the things that you want in life. If you want to be a better leader in business then influence is essential. To achieve any kind of business or financial goal you are going to need influence. Influence is important in your personal life as well. If your child is not pulling their weight at school or college, do you have the influential power to make them change their behavior? What if your child has got in with the wrong crowd and you fear for their safety on the streets? Can you influence them to change who they associate with?

As far as I know, this was the first time the CEO of a major corporation posted a video message on YouTube directed at customers. In his YouTube message, Neeleman explained that steps were being taken to prevent the same thing from happening again. And he outlined a new customer protection plan with enough substance behind it to show customers that he wasn’t just blowing hot air. Customers may not have forgotten what happened, but they seem to have forgiven JetBlue. When the situation got out of control, Neeleman didn’t do what other corporate leaders have frequently done. He didn’t call in his staff to manage the crisis. He didn’t hire a public relations expert. He did what Purple Cows do—he innovated. He created an innovative information product. And it worked. When you follow up by continuing to add something of value to people’s lives, you establish the kind of rapport and trust that turns friends into clients. And when you cultivate client relationships by keeping in touch, offering new solutions, and creating additional benefits, you turn customers into clients for life. The best time to build your database is now Do not wait for a change of environment before you act; get a change of environment by action. –Wallace D. Wattles The best way to build your database is by offering an information product designed to generate leads. Find a product idea you’re enthusiastic about. If you can tie it into your current business model, you have the topic for a great information product. When you give first-time visitors a free information product in exchange for their e-mail address, you take the first step toward establishing yourself as an expert. And when visitors give you permission to follow up, you start to build a bond of trust. If you’ve already written something, think about how you can leverage it to create additional information products. An article might contain the seed for an eBook. A series of articles or reports can be reworked and presented as an eCourse or a series of Web seminars. If you’ve never written anything for publication on the Internet before, start by asking yourself how you can package what you know or do. What are you passionate about? How have you helped people in the past? Ask family and friends for their honest feedback. Do you have a hobby that’s related to a product or service that you would like to market? A sport or other pursuit that you’re passionate about can be a great place to start. Be sure you know what your vision is. When you find products and services that you can market and sell with enthusiasm, you won’t have any trouble writing about them with passion and conviction. How to create lead-generating information products Just start with something simple. Be sure to choose an attention-grabbing title. And let people know you as a person. Let them see who you really are. When you write your information product, be sure to remember the first rule of relationship management: Customers don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.

This is in fact all wrong. Most of us have plenty of time (otherwise, how did you manage to fit in the entire series of Lost recently?) but what we lack is the energy. Without energy, we don't have will-power. Without will-power, things don't get done and we start to drown in a list of things we need to be doing and become incredibly stressed. Our bodies suffer, our relationships suffer and we don't live life to the fullest. Working from home can change all that. Working from home means that you can choose to work out in the morning or in the afternoon – you just have to choose the time that you have the most energy. At the same time, it means you can put food on the stove while you're working and watch it simmer. Working from home means you can sit outside and feel the sun on your face, instead of being cooped up in an office (which is known to contribute to stress and depression). Working from home means that you don't have to commute down busy streets with hundreds of people walking at you during rush hour – this wreaks havoc with your heartrate. In short, when you work from home you get to choose your priorities and you reduce the stress of working several times over. Now you can put yourself first and that's an incredibly important and valuable thing to be able to do. The potential health benefits are transformative and life-changing. This book will show you how to start working from home if you don't already and how to take maximum advantage of that situation so that you're able to feel your very best and feel the benefits in every other area of your life. Oh and of course this will have a powerful knock-on effect and impact on your productivity helping you to get more work done and to a much higher quality. 1.2 Working From Home: The Health Risks But this book won't just be about capitalizing on the amazing health benefits of working from home. Just as importantly, we'll be looking at the potential health risks that working from home can pose. And make no mistake: there are many. Think being shouted at by your boss is stressful? How about being shouted at by 10 angry clients? Or 300 angry customers who just downloaded your app? And here's the difference between working for someone versus working for yourself: when you work for someone else and you have an unproductive day, you still get paid. When you work for yourself and you have an unproductive day? You get nothing. Have a bad month? You still get nothing. That's another thing: working for yourself is highly volatile and unpredictable and that's why some people refer to bipolar depression as 'the entrepreneur's disease'. Here's another difference: when you work for yourself, none of your friends or relatives will respect the fact that you have to work during the week. 'Oh, he/she works from home, so of course they can come and help me move out of my house/meet for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon'. Never mind that you promised your clients their work would be finished at 4pm. Never mind that you'll now have to work until 5am through the night. And on the flip side of this, your clients won't respect that your home time is your home time. They'll think nothing of e-mailing you at 5am in the morning on a Sunday to tell you the work you handed in three days ago was rubbish. And you'll have the same problem: you'll always be tempted to finish a little early on a Friday, or to work a little late on a Wednesday. Goodbye body clock! Goodbye healthy sleep! Goodbye good quality work. Then there's the fact that working from home means working on your own, with no one around, in the same room you're likely to spend your evening in. You never get to leave this space and you never get any outside interaction or input. Talk about cabin fever! Heeeeere's Johnny! Working from home gives you freedom and that freedom can give you the option to become incredibly healthy, happy and effective. At the same time though, freedom also comes with responsibility. Fail to manage that time well and it can all go wrong…

People Of The Web Vs Spyware MRR Ebook

Sample Content Preview HOW IS SPYWARE DIFFERENT FROM VIRUSES & WORMS? Today, there are an incalculable number of “health” problems that a computer can be at risk for. Generally, these risks can be broken down into spyware, viruses and worms. It is easy to confuse these different types of computer prob-lems because they have many similarities. Spyware, viruses and worms all get onto a user’s computer with permission or by using deceptive means. Once on the computer, they cause harm to the computer and impair functions. Spyware, viruses and worms are all designed to be difficult, if not impossible, to detect. They often are designed in a certain way that prohibits them from being removed in normal manners. Recently, there have been many viruses and worms which have been, as spyware is, created for profit. Compared to viruses and worms, spyware is a relatively new problem. Viruses have been around since the 1980s and worms almost as long. Spyware didn’t become a major issue until 2000. The major difference between spyware and viruses and worms is that spyware doesn’t seek to replicate once on your computer. It also doesn’t seek to infect other computers. Both viruses and worms, on the other hand, actively replicate themselves and can spread to other computers through means such as email. Another big difference between spyware, viruses and worms is objective. Spyware is always used for some form of monetary gain such as through advertisements. Modern viruses and worms can also be used for monetary gain. However, viruses and worms are often created in an attempt to gain fame. Some virus and worm creators have claimed their motivation was to show how far virus creation has advanced. Other creators desire to “outdo” the creators of anti-virus and anti-worm software. As in the case with the Bagel and Netsky viruses, the creators of the viruses wanted to outdo each other. Additionally, viruses and worms are often created specifically to do damage to a computer through a type of web espionage. An example of this is the Conflicker worm which spread in 2008. It made its way into the defense systems of France and Britain as well as about 15 million computers around the world and creating severe damage to the computers’ health. Spyware, however, does not want to cause severe damage to the computer. That is because it relies on the computer’s health in order to send advertisements to users. IS THERE A SPY-VIR-ORM HYBRID? It is getting increasingly difficult to distinguish between spyware, viruses and worms. As all three of these computer health issues become increasingly sophisticated, they have taken on properties of one another and often rely upon one another for functioning. There are many instances when spyware is spread through a virus or visa versa. There are also many instances of spyware, worms or viruses creating openings for other types of harm to enter a user’s computer. Because of this crossover between the spyware, viruses and worms, it is important that countermeasures are taken against all forms of computer infections. CAN I JUST IGNORE SPYWARE? Because spyware doesn’t progressively destroy a computer’s functioning like viruses and worms do, it may be possible to simply ignore the fact that your computer is infected. Many people figure that it is better to simply keep closing all those annoying pop-up ads rather than bother with antispyware software, some of which can be very expensive. Ignoring the fact you have spyware is a temporary solution but it can end up costing you in the long run. Much of the spyware software now will disable firewalls, disable anti-virus software, and change browser security settings to low. This allows for further infection of your computer by other spyware soft-ware or viruses and worms. At first, you may just have a few pop-up ads. Later, this may progress to the point where the pop-ups come faster than you can click to close them or your computer is getting destroyed by a cocktail of viruses as though your computer has an immune deficiency disease. Spyware software makers were aware that this change in security settings would allow other spyware to get into the computer. Because spyware companies are in competition against each other, some spyware actually destroys other spyware which is on your computer. This also keeps users from taking action against spyware because the problem never seemingly gets too bad. The spyware maker Avenue Media actually sued one of its competitors called Direct Revenue because the company disabled its spyware. The two companies settled the dispute by agreeing not to disable each other’s products. Aside from the lowered security settings that many spyware programs create, you may have gotten a virus or worm with your spyware in a bundled package. This cocktail of computer infections can do serious and even irreversible damage. Even if you don’t have an additional problem other than spyware, you can never be sure exactly what the spyware is doing and what information of yours it is accessing – such as your credit card numbers. By ignoring the threat of spyware, you are setting up your computer for a potential disaster. Antispyware programs can be very expensive however, if you take the time to educate yourself, there are plenty of free antispyware programs. Even if you opt for the paid versions, it is better to spend that money now than to pay to have your computer completely reconfigured in the future after the spyware problem gets out of control. WHAT DAMAGE CAN SPYWARE DO? Bombards You with Advertisements Spyware is known for displaying advertisements, usually in the form of pop-ups. Each spyware software program works a bit differently with its advertising. Some display ads every couple of minutes, for example, while others will display every time you open a new browser window. The newest trend amongst spyware is to track what the user is doing online. Then, this information is relayed so specific, targeted ads are displayed. For people vulnerable to advertising, these targeted ads can be a great threat. These pop-up ads can be a great nuisance. Also, pornography pop-up ads are a very common issue with spyware and they are considered particularly heinous because children could be exposed to the porn ads. Another way in which spyware may advertise is to take over the banner ads. Instead of seeing the advertisement which the site’s creator put up, the viewer sees a spyware ad instead. Because many websites are funded by ads, the spyware is stealing profit from the website owner as well as annoying the viewer with the banner ad.

You may be asking, is it not enough to simply have active profiles on social media? Unfortunately, no, it is not. In this day and age, almost every person, and, even, many pets(!) are on social media. For this reason, there is an undeniable need for the existence of an enhanced and consistent social media presence to be able to run a business on social media. There is an abundance of content that you will need to compete with, so, above all, you need to try to have a high-quality brand. But, people do not only use social media to be social with their friends and family—as it was originally intended. Social media is used to build connections and make business decisions and, of course, learn about new and exciting products. Social media was designed with the intention of keeping us on our phones and to constantly refresh our feeds to see what new and exciting content is available for us. And it certainly worked. Social media usage is constantly increasing, with platforms finding new ways to keep us posting and most importantly buying. When social media was first introduced, it was ad-less and free. But, as sites grew, so did the ability of it to be used for marketing. Now, in amongst pictures of our family and friends, are sponsored posts and ads that the algorithms think that we might enjoy. The videos we watch are often paused momentarily to make way for a quick ad. Advertising has been seamlessly integrated into our feeds; but how do you compete with all that content? The answer comes in creating a social media marketing strategy. In essence, social media marketing is defined as efforts made on social media to connect with audiences and achieve business goals, such as increased sales, increased followers, more traffic, and building a brand. Through social media marketing, you will want your audience to develop brand awareness, then brand recognition, and finally, brand loyalty. We will discuss “branding” more specifically later, but it is important to keep in mind that as branding is how your audience perceives you, you want them to have a good impression. Social media marketing is the combination of all your online activities that aim to drive user engagement and overall sales. As with regular marketing, it can be proactive or reactive. Preferably of course you want proactive marketing to head off anything bad—ideally, you want your marketing strategy to seem effortless, not staged PR. While it can seem like a challenge, the ideal social media marketing strategy does not seem like one at all to the audience. It should come across as natural, organic content. Key Elements Of Social Media Marketing Social media marketing is not the same as traditional marketing. Depending on one's industry and business goals, it may require traditional marketing as well as social media marketing to grow their business. There are elements of social media marketing that are inspired by traditional marketing, but one would be foolish not to have a solid understanding of social media marketing specifically to maximize the possible gains from it. Whether you, yourself, are your brand or you are trying to run a business from social media you will still need to use social media marketing. Basically, you will not succeed on social media, irrespective of your endeavor, without a good social media marketing strategy. If you have already started your business, it could be helpful for you to conduct an audit of the kinds of posts you have been doing and the success of these posts. Doing so will also help you learn the skills that we are discussing throughout this book. The sooner you learn to apply the skills, the better; so if you can do an audit of any content currently, it would be an advantage. The content One element of social media marketing is the content that you will be producing. While we will discuss this in more detail later in the eBook, it is something that you must keep in mind. Content can be your every day or more casual posting style as well as specific campaigns that you run. While marketing is how you do it, ultimately the content is what you are selling. You will be using analytics to understand the success of your content. You can have the best marketing strategy in the world but if your content is not good, then your account will not be as successful as it could be. The conversation You can monitor the conversation about what people are already saying about you and steer the conversation in new ways. Listening to the buzz about you and the feedback you are receiving is an important part of marketing and growing your business. For example, check in the comment sections, checking reviews, and checking message boards. It is not just enough to look on your own channels, you need to see how you are appearing in other places as well that you personally have less control over. Checking your own notifications for mentions is one thing, but you also want to know what people are saying about you and not tagging you in. Sometimes when people air their grievances, they do not actually want to tag the brand itself, for fear of backlash or an uncomfortable conversation. This is why you just need to monitor things that include your name as well— just in case. The “social” of social media It is right there in the name, there is no use just posting blindly into the void or shouting into an echo chamber: engagement is everything. It should be one of the primary goals of your marketing strategy. And do not forget, engagement goes both ways. Not only do you want your audience to engage with you, but you need to engage back. An element of this is your brand persona, but it also involves putting the time into replying and commenting and also creating a conversation and space for your audience where they feel valued, appreciated and, also have fun!

Webinar Mastery MRR Ebook

Sample Content Preview Attendees know that they will be able to participate. The main way of doing this is to ask you questions and get the answers in real time. You are able to ask your audience questions as well and you can ask them to participate regularly in micro actions such as polls, quizzes and so on. When you get your audience to perform micro actions throughout the webinar you are warming them up to taking the final action that you want – purchasing your product or service. Not all webinars have sales pitches at the end of them. Some businesses use webinars to just provide value by explaining how to solve a problem and how using their products and services make things a lot easier. This increases brand awareness and trust which will make the attendees more likely to become customers in the future. Expert Status If you are running a webinar then your audience will perceive you as an expert. Even if some of the attendees have never heard of you before they will assume that you are an expert in your niche because you are running the webinar. Being perceived as an expert is exactly what you want. People trust experts and are much more likely to buy from them. It takes effort for attendees to register for a webinar and they have to spend their precious time attending. They wouldn’t do this if they didn’t believe that they are going to learn something valuable from you. No Hard Sell If you setup and run your webinar in the right way then you will not require a hard sell for your products or services. We will cover this later on in this guide. You will be able to present your offer to your audience and some of them will just go for it because you have impressed them so much throughout the webinar. Your webinar needs to discuss a problem that your audience is having and provide a solution. It needs to deliver value and overcome any objections. You need to persuade the attendees that they have a specific “WANT” and your product or service is that WANT. By the time you come around to the pitch your audience will be ready to buy without a hard sell. A Large Global Audience One of the really great things about webinars is that you can provide your presentation to hundreds (possibly thousands) of attendees from all over the world. You can sit at home controlling everything. It doesn’t get much better than that! OK it is not as effective as a one to one meeting with a prospect but it is the next best thing. Your audience wants to hear what you have to say and how you will solve their problems. They are a captive audience. Can you imagine the logistics and the cost of gathering hundreds of people from around the world to a physical venue? Webinars have High Engagement Levels Live webinars are special because your attendees know that if they show up late they are going to miss part of your presentation. If you don’t plan to provide a replay (or at least announce that you are going to do this) then they will miss out on everything if they do not attend. This is why people from around the world are willing to attend a webinar in the middle of the night. They will do this because they want the information that you are going to share. It is one of the best scarcity tactics available. Show up or miss out and stay until the end or you may miss something important! The other reason that webinars offer high levels of engagement is because they are interactive. People know that they will have the chance to participate and ask questions. You want to encourage attendees to ask questions as this increases their interest in what you are discussing. Generate Leads with Webinars Every business wants to make sales but they also know the importance of generating leads. No matter how good your webinar is, you are not going to sell your product or service to all of the attendees. When a person registers for a webinar event you will obtain their contact details – their name and email address. This enables you to follow up with them after the webinar through email marketing. You know that they are interested in your niche and solving a specific problem so you can use this to your advantage. Invite Guest Presenters and Leverage their Audience Do you know who the influencers are in your niche? If you don’t then you need to find out and invite them to be a special guest on your webinars. Not only is this a great way to encourage people to attend your webinar, it also gives you access to the audience of your special guest. The special guest that you invite is very likely to have a large following either on social media or through an email list (or possibly both). Ask them to tell their audience about the webinar and you will be able to reach people that you never could before. Faster Sales Process Webinars offer a really fast way to convert leads into sales. With a well presented webinar you will provide your audience with all of the steps of your sales funnel in one go. Your audience will get to know you fast, like what you have to say and trust you. This is essential for converting attendees into customers. Nothing else compares to webinars when it comes to providing the fastest return on investment (ROI). If you sell a product using a website and a sales page you are unlikely to make a lot of sales with first time visitors. With webinars you can do this. Attract Super Affiliates If you have an affiliate program for your products and services then webinars provide a great way to attract the best affiliates out there. These guys have very big email lists and can fill up your webinar without you having to do any additional marketing. Super affiliates will be interested if your webinar has a high conversion rate. So you need to keep statistics about this. Show these people those persuasive metrics and they will promote your webinar in a heartbeat! In the next chapter we will discuss how to plan for a high converting webinar… High converting webinars do not just happen they are planned. Even if you are true expert in your niche we do not recommend that you just “wing it”. Your attendees will expect a well planned and organized webinar event and you need to provide this to maximize your engagement and your chances of making sales. What are your Webinar Goals? What do you want to achieve with your webinar? Do you want to establish yourself as an expert in your niche? Do you want to generate more leads and sales? Do you want to create a successful joint venture? Do you want to increase the visibility of your brand? It is important that you define the purpose of your webinar. You may want to achieve more than one goal such as promoting your niche expert status and driving new leads and sales for example. This is fine – just know what your goal is. What Value will you provide? A high converting webinar will always provide value so you need to think carefully about what you are going to give your webinar audience. You need to provide your attendees with value first before you make a sales pitch. The best way to do this is to show your attendees how they can solve a common problem. Let’s say that you are in the make money online niche. One of the most common problems for people in this niche is traffic generation. If you can show your attendees how to generate a lot of traffic to their website or their offers you will certainly grab their attention. When it comes to the product or service you intend to pitch at the end of the webinar it must be related to the original theme. So if your webinar is about online traffic generation then your offer needs to be about this too. Maybe it is way to automate the traffic generation methods you have already explained for example. Create Presentation Slides You will need to create a high quality presentation slide set for your webinar. This will provide organization and discipline to your event and help to focus the attention of your attendees. The best slides reveal one point at a time to maintain focus. If you reveal everything at once then you run the risk of your audience reading rather than listening. We recommend that you plan for a buildup of excitement with your presentation. Start by introducing the problem and getting your audience to feel the pain of this. Ask them to interact using the chat facility. Next ask them how they would feel if you had the answer to their problem. Again encourage interactivity here. Then talk about the benefits of solving the problem before you reveal the methods or tactics in your webinar.
