Table of Contents Foreword Chapter 1: Game Creation Basics Chapter 2: What Tools Are Needed? Chapter 3: 2D Game Creation Software Chapter 4: 3D Game Creation Software Chapter 5: Game Modification Chapter 6: Building a Game on a Social Site Sample Content Preview Chapter 2: What Tools Are Needed? Synopsis Now that you have completed all of the essential basic tasks of creating a game it is time to start turning your idea into a functioning game. This step can be made much easier with the use of certain tools. By tools I of course do not mean a hammer or a screwdriver. I am talking about tools that can improve your overall workflow as well as the performance of the game. You may not be familiar with tools that are used in the process of creating a game and that is okay, you are not alone. The following chapter will go over different types of tools used for game creating and will explain the benefits of using them. Beneficial Tools A lot of time consumption and the frustration that comes with creating a video game can be alleviated with the use of certain tools. If you have a great deal of pride and you want to try and do everything by hand consider this first, humans have been using tools since the beginning of time so just use them! They will not only increase the speed of your production but they will also surely provide a much better end product. The following are some tools that’s you may want to consider using as well as their benefits: - Creation tools This is probably the tool that you will use the most through the entire process of creating your game. Creation tools are involved in basically every aspect of a game. They are responsible for creating levels, music, characters and items within the game. They are used for basically everything, right down to polishing down rough edges right before the game is released. You can find creation tools for cheap and even some for free but keep in mind you can also make your own. Making your own if you are capable is actually a better idea because you can customize it to your needs for the type of game you are making. Find a simple to use creation tool. This will greatly speed up your workflow and nobody likes trying to use complicated programs that are time consuming. - In-Game Editors These game creation tools allow the programmer to make real-time in game changes. This can greatly improve your productivity as you do not have to exit the game in order to make changes. As well, sometimes you think something will work and it does not. The last thing you want to do is spend time reprogramming outside of the game to load it back up and discover your idea did not work. That is what makes these in-game editors so valuable. - Debugging Tools These tools are extremely valuable to a game creator. Anyone who has ever designed a game before know how time consuming and frustrating it can be when something in a game fails and you have to read through pages and pages of codes in order to find the problem. Debugging tools get rid of this problem for you by diagnosing possible issues for you as well as giving you their location. They also keep logs and do periodic performance checks. - Deployment Tools These tools are commonly used when more than one person is working on the game and different members of the team are working on different parts of the game. For example you may have an artist who works only on characters while you have another artist who only works on backdrops. You will need to make sure that everyone’s work is compatible with each other and correct. Deployment tools are great for this and are also helpful with making sure your game will be compatible when trying to make it for more than one platform. One thing to keep in mind is differences in screen size. For example, a game designed for Xbox would look terrible on a smart phone, which is where you will need the help if a deployment tool. - Post-Release Tools These tools are not really used to create your game but are rather used for monitoring your game once it is released. These tools can be used to receive error reports as well as complaints about your game. With the use of these tools you can receive feedback on your game as well and ratings which will help you with your ideas for your next game. Post-Release tools are a great way to see what works and what doesn’t and what will appeal to the market. With the use of these tools you will surely increase your productivity and create much less work for yourself. Just remember, everyone will hit the occasional snags but they will be nowhere near as bad with the help of these tools. Chapter 3: 2D Game Creation Software Synopsis There are many different types of software that can be used to create two dimensional games. These programs range in price depending on what you want. Unfortunately the higher end programs that professional programmers use for mainstream games are very expensive, around $100,000! If you are like most people this is completely unrealistic and in no way affordable. Do not be alarmed, there are programs out there that are affordable and can do many of the same things. If you are not familiar with game creation software then the following chapter is perfect for you. The following chapter will proved you with some information on two dimensional game creation software and some software you can use that won’t break the bank. Effective and Affordable Software If you are an unexperienced game maker and you are working on your first two dimensional project you should seriously consider using YoYo game maker. This game maker is a comprehensive program that allows people to make games without any prior programming experience. There will still be things that you will have difficulty doing while creating your game, even with the use of this software. However, there is a great deal of online tutorials and many online forums that can offer you plenty of help to overcome whatever obstacle it is that you are facing. In the end, practice makes perfect and although this program will not do everything for you it will definitely lighten your load by a large amount. One of the best things about this program is the fact that the lite version is provided to the public for free. If you want to do more robust things with your game you will have to buy the full version which can run around $500. Construct 2 is another great program that will take a lot of the stress of making a 2D game away. Construct 2 is a HTML-5 based game engine. This game engine is an alternative to Java and Adobe flash and is specifically designed to develop a wide array of 2D games from platformers to scroll shooters. The games can be instantly previewed and ported to a PC or other system. This software is much cheaper than YoYo gamemaker as it will only run you about $120 for the full version which will unlock the software’s full potential. However, the commercial package will still run you about $400.

You want to be able to understand why you handle any given situation the way you do. By knowing why you handle things the way you do you can have better control of yourself. Try this simple exercise to help you understand your feelings. Sit upright in a comfortable chair and pay close attention to how different parts of your body feel. Pay attention to how you breathe. Do you breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth? Is your breathing deep or shallow? Are there areas of your body feel tension? Just sit for a few minutes and become familiar with how your body reacts to sitting still in a chair. Now pay close attention to any feelings, images or memories that come to your mind. What are these feelings telling you about yourself? Are you having positive or negative feelings? The more you get to understand your feelings, the more in touch with your emotions you become. Take a few moments to acknowledge with feelings. If you are having bad feelings tell yourself it is okay to feel that at this time. Do not try to analyze your feelings right now. Just simply let your feelings come through. If you're feeling comfortable and at peace, just allow yourself to feel good. If you are feeling the fear or anger, then allow yourself to discover what is causing this. If you're feeling pain, allow yourself to feel it and take note of what is causing the pain. Just let all your feelings come out and acknowledge them. By learning to understand your feelings, you can gain more self-control. No matter what kind of feelings you are having, recognize that there is a reason for the way you are feeling. Gently ask yourself why you are feeling this way. Is there something happening that is making you feel this way? Was there a noise or scent that reminded you of something that made you feel that way? Do not try to understand your feelings at this point. Try going deeper into your subconscious mind and see if you can reveal the reason for your feelings. The more you learn to recognize your feelings, the easier it is to figure out how to change them if needed. Focus on the feeling you are having and express the feeling by making a sound that goes along with the feeling. You could scream, cry, take a deep breath; you could laugh or make any other sound that will express how you are feeling. If you are feeling sad, you could reassure yourself by saying everything will be okay. Allow yourself to feel what ever emotion you are feeling and then comfort yourself. Allow yourself to totally recognize why you are feeling the way you are and then allow yourself to let go of the feeling. The more you get to know yourself, the more you will be able to achieve total self-control. In Order to Gain Total Self Control First You Must Decide What You Want From Life How would you describe your ideal life? What are your hopes and dreams? Are you looking for friends and relationships? Do you want more money and a better lifestyle? Do you wish you had better health? Would you like a better or more challenging job? Have you ever tried to make changes to any of the areas of your life you wanted to change and were unable to succeed? What things did you do that made it not work out for you, and what do you think you could do differently to make it work now? Maybe by taking a different approach than you did the first time you can succeed this time. Look at it from different angles and see if you can figure out ideas that will help you succeed this time. No matter what it is that you want to do in order to have your ideal life, start working on the things it takes to make them happen. If you want better health, what changes would you need to make in order to make this happen? If you want to have more money, but you have negative thoughts about it, then try to change these thoughts to positive ones. If you would like a better job, what do you need to do in order to achieve this? Take time to figure out all the different things you want and desire from your life and then write down everything you need to do in order to achieve these things. By knowing what you want out of life you are on your way to gaining self-control. If you know what you want, then go after it with everything you've got. Develop a positive attitude towards reaching all your goals. Develop your skills each day and work on yourself and your confidence will grow.

Now every mindset can work in a dual manner. For instance, while your individual mindset can open doors for you, it can also set serious limitations based on your beliefs and approach in different scenarios. This means that just as mindsets can help you spot opportunities, they can equally well trap you in self-defeating cycles as well. The stories that you tell yourself and the things that you believe about yourself can go either way. First off, if you become trapped in a negative or limiting mindset then your mindset will prevent change from happening in your life. But if you develop a positive mindset then you allow new skills to blossom. Importance Of Mindset In Life Because your mindset holds your set of beliefs, it has immense potential to make a difference in your life. For most people their beliefs are the core of their efforts. As such, beliefs distinguish people who are successful at what they do as opposed to others who continually struggle. These beliefs form the basis of where your abilities come from. Just think about your talents, your intelligence, and your personality. Do you consider these traits to be simply fixed and permanent, or do you think these are aspects which you can cultivate and improve on through life? The rigidity or flexibility about these beliefs is what determines your mindset. Having the right mindset for any particular task is almost a prerequisite for success. Whether you’re a parent, teacher, student, entrepreneur, or in any other profession, you need the right mindset to be successful at what you do. Every profession comes with its own hurdles and obstacles and having a positive mindset allows you to not only overcome those obstacles but even welcome them as challenges or an opportunity to learn and grow. If you look around you, you’ll see that often people with similar circumstances have very different results in life. This happens because of their mindset. Since your mindset regarding events and situations influences your interpretation of them, the results will be different from someone else with a different mindset. If you’ve got a positive mindset, you’ll find it easier to overcome setbacks than others with a negative or limiting mindset. Or, if you have a negative mindset, you’ll feel the world collapse under your feet every time there is an unpleasant experience. If your core beliefs don’t support you, then you’ll likely set yourself up for failure when faced with a difficult situation. You may be more susceptible to surrendering and admitting failure when all you need to do is try harder or perhaps take on a different approach. You may also need to change your frame of mind. Mindsets Are More Than Beliefs But mindsets aren’t mere beliefs and have the capacity to dictate your reactions to situations and other tendencies. They serve a number of cognitive functions and let you frame situations. At the same time, your mindset will also direct your attention to the most important cues and filter out irrelevant information so that you don’t overwhelm yourself. Your mindset will also give you direction by recommending sensible goals to achieve so that you have a sense of direction. Once your mindset becomes habitual, it defines who you are and what you can become. Life Experiences Reinforce The Mindset For the majority of people, their mindset is created for them at an early age. It may be through parents, teachers, friends or others that you readily absorb what you are told. And because when you’re young and have no other point of reference, you accept the offered knowledge. This basic information then becomes embedded within your psyche and starts to shape your beliefs about the world and your place within it. As you grow and mature, life experiences and events may contradict that earlier knowledge and somewhat change your mindset. However, the earlier knowledge continues to stick and becomes your reference point for much of your life. For instance, if you’re surrounded by people who are in a constant state of anxiety and overwhelm then there’s a good chance that you’ll develop a mindset that mirrors reactions to life in ways that are anxious and overwhelmed. Your mindset continues developing and becomes stronger the more you repeat and practice your beliefs. Now if you become locked in a negative or limiting mindset, then you’ll likely keep repeating negative self-talk and start to see things in a certain way. This practice can become self-fulfilling until you completely believe it to be true. On the other end of the spectrum, if you have a positive mindset then it gets reinforced through your beliefs and consequent actions. The Emotion Factor However, repetition isn’t the only factor at play in the creation of habits and beliefs. The emotion factor also plays in this equation. When you mix repeated thoughts and actions with emotions, the expected results can alter. Both helpful and bad habits get created the same way- through repetition. But the habit can be embedded more quickly and strongly when combined with emotion. Take the example of comfort eating. You know that it’s not good for you but since it makes you feel good at a time when you are down, you turn to this habit to lift up your spirits. Once you get into this cycle, you develop a behavior paired with powerful emotion and an unhealthy eating habit is formed.

A lot of people are thinking that vitamin D is a no-brainer. After all, most people have access to sunlight. Well, you have to expose yourself consciously to sunlight at a certain time range. You can’t just go out at any time and expect your vitamin D levels to be optimal. You actually have to be purposeful in calculating your exposure to sunlight; otherwise, your body is not going to synthesize optimal levels of vitamin D. According to fairly recent research on this amazing vitamin, vitamin D actually has a wider impact than bone health. It impacts psychological states, moods. In fact, we're still learning the wide range of benefits people get from vitamin D. Your overall lifestyle determines whether you ingest enough magnesium or you get enough sunlight to enjoy optimal levels of vitamin D. Sadly, a lot of people are experiencing symptoms of deficiencies in these and other vitamins and nutrients, and they have absolutely no clue. They just feel that they are anxious. They can’t sleep well. They have mood imbalances. Automatically, they think that they need chemicals like antidepressants or anti-anxiety medication. It is no surprise that Americans are overmedicated. It's like trying to kill ants by burning down your house. I would think that you know that doesn’t make any sense. However, this is precisely the problem that we have when we do not completely realize how important lifestyle choices are. Similarly, you need social input. Did you know that when you connect with people by simply exchanging small talk and generally hanging out and being comfortable, certain chemicals are released through your system? This calms you down. In fact, in a very interesting study of people from a town in Italy called Roseto in Foggia province, scientists concluded that even if people were to eat the same high-fat, high-cholesterol diet just like the modern American diet, they can still have great life outcomes. The secret? Social connection. That's right. Your social inputs can stabilize what would otherwise be negative lifestyle inputs. There is quite a bit of scientific research out there saying that if you eat a high-carb, high-fat, high-cholesterol diet, chances are your life expectancy is not going to be all that good. At the very least, you're going to run into serious health problems as you get older. Well, it turned out that people from the town of Roseto did not suffer from these problems despite the fact that they enjoyed the typical modern American diet. They eat a lot of cream, fat, you name it. The secret, however, is that people who come from this town hang out and socialize. This social input goes a long way in stabilizing the system, and I’m not just talking about the physical effects of socialization. When you socialize, there's a tremendous emotional effect as well. It's very hard to be lonely. It's very hard to feel so disconnected that you want to kill yourself. That usually doesn’t happen when you are in a social environment where people genuinely care about you. When you don't show up, people ask where you’ve been. People look after you. People are curious what you’re up to. In primate societies, social cohesion is maintained when chimps and monkeys groom each other. Well, we no longer do that on a large scale, but we have a substitute: we talk to each other. It doesn’t have to be big. You don't have to talk about the heavy, substantive issues of life. Even small talk is enough. Even smiling at each other produces a biochemical response that tends to stabilize mood. Never underestimate the power of social input when it comes to your general physical health. Work Conditions In the West, there is an ongoing obesity epidemic primarily because in the past thirty years, people are no longer walking around. In the span of a typical eight-hour work day, people are not normally spending a significant amount of time standing up or moving about. Instead, most people sit down on a chair and look at a screen. While this has increased work productivity due to software automation and computing power, societies have paid a pretty steep price. A sedentary lifestyle has a serious effect on your body's ability to heal itself and maintain proper balance. Not surprisingly, recent research studies indicate that failing to stand up for long-enough periods of time can actually lead to long-term, serious health risks. A lot of people got alarmed by those research papers for a good reason because, by and large, people are sitting down for work. This has led to a movement in many workplaces throughout Western Europe and the United States and other places where office workers can choose to stand up while using a computer. These are called standing desks. These are definitely steps in the right direction because your work conditions do play a very big role in your physical wellness. In terms of your emotional health, being put in charge of a project or being responsible for something with a higher level of accountability, does wonders for your psychological and emotional state. When people work at jobs where there's absolutely no accountability, they eventually feel like they really don't matter all that much. At some point in time, they feel that the stuff they do doesn't really count, and it’s not a surprise that people in such environments tend to be more susceptible to negative behaviors like alcoholism, drug addiction, overeating, smoking and other negative behaviors. Stress Inputs For the longest time, the conventional wisdom about stress is that it is bad across the board. Whenever the word “stress” comes up, people always assume the worst. Well, it turns out according to a fairly recent analysis that there is good stress and bad stress. Good stress enables you to face your limits and overcome them. In other words, you are challenged enough to the point where you are given the opportunity to step up and push the boundaries of your comfort zone. You become a more competent and confident person. This is good stress. On the other hand, there is stress that grinds you down. This often involves timelines, delivery dates and group projects. You feel less and less competent, and you are more likely to blame other people for your failings or run away from responsibility altogether by “hiding in the crowd”. In other words, you let other people essentially take the heat for the work you should have been doing. As you can well imagine, this is negative across the board. It doesn’t make you look like a hero in front of other people, and you are not challenging yourself. You're not putting your skills to good use so they start to deteriorate. You become less and less effective. The worst part to all of this is that your stress avoidance at work makes you even more mentally unprepared to handle stress. Your tolerance for it deteriorates over time the more successful you are in avoiding it. Again, there is such a thing as healthy stress. It enables you toughen up and step up to take greater and greater levels of responsibility, not just at work but you take responsibility for your life in general.

The first thing I want at the front of your mind when going through this is affiliate sales and affiliate building is not an overnight thing. I could lie to you, but I won't. Affiliate building is like list building. The more products you create and promote, the more affiliates are likely to join you on the way. Like with list building, the more joint ventures and promotions you get sorted, the more people will join your list on the way. Understand that if this is your first day, and you don't have any affiliates they will only grow as fast as you promote. Keep in mind though, that even five good new affiliates will put you well on your way to earning a heck of a lot more. Your First Questions In setting up your affiliate program, the first question you'll likely have to ask yourself is how much do I award to affiliates per sale and on how many levels? While there are many factors to take into account, the answer isn't really all that complex. Always look at things from an affiliates point of view. We've really been spoiled by commissions as of late, I've seen things up to 80%, and even 100% for the first month quick start bonuses. This is why it's important that your first level is at least 40%. Remember that's not a 60% loss, it's a 40% gain from a sale you may never have made. If there’s one thing I’d like you to keep in mind at this point, it’s that when getting started, affiliate promotion is more about resource building for future promotion than making immediate profit, something the big earners realized early on. Sure you’d give away 80-100% if it meant you’d have a list of several thousand to promote to as a result of the increased affiliate activity. Don’t think in two dimensions, or you’ll see your highly contested for affiliates go elsewhere for higher commissions. Next up comes level two. It's really important to have a level two commission going, because this will give all the first level referrers a passive income (cliché, I know) once they've exhausted their first level promotion. I know some people who won't even promote products unless they have a second level commission there (very big tip, don’t forget this widespread factor), or the first level commission is particularly high. So a second level is a must, unless you have a very high ticket product to start with. Use your discretion, and remember to test whilst your selecting your levels and whilst your affiliates promote for you. Now I understand that there may be circumstances where 40% commissions or a second level commission may not be possible. For example, if the products that you're creating are tangible, or have a high production cost, but still go ahead and create yourself an affiliate program, whether it's five or ten percent. It won't get you as much interest as a high commission program, but you really don't have much choice when paying a 40% commission rate would put you at a loss every sale. Taking into Account the Price of Your Products The next thing you'll want to look at when trying to set your affiliate commissions is the price of your product itself, and its structure. It's far easier to get people to promote for you in four situations. 1. Where you have a high price 2. When your commissions are higher 3. When you have a second level 4. Where the commission is re-occurring over time If your affiliate program doesn’t meet at least one of those requirements, we have a problem on our hands. The more of these four points it meets, the stronger is your position both for attracting affiliates and keeping them promoting. Analyze Your Offer Objectively I've had people ask me why they're having trouble getting affiliates to promote for them, and more often than not, they're trying to get people to promote a one off sale $10 product, or something similar. Now if that's not re-occurring, and has no follow-up product, then what good is a $5 one off commission for the promoter? Not a lot. Of course I'm not saying you wouldn't get any affiliates in this situation, but it may be harder than you expect to attract. The competition for joint ventures, lists, and affiliates right now is as harsh and as cut throat as the competition for actual sales of products. So before you actually decide to shell out on some sort of affiliate software, make sure that you don't offer commissions that are too low, non-reoccurring, or don't have a second level. Put yourself in the affiliates’ shoes. Remember, they don’t care about your profits. They care about theirs. If you were them, would you promote your product? Would it be profitable for you? Would it even be worth your time? These are the things to think about when not only setting commissions, but deciding whether or not it's even worth having an affiliate program up there for people to take advantage of in the first place. If you can't answer those two questions with a confident 'yes' then your setup probably needs to be changed in some way until you can, because it's likely others will have the same reaction as you, and your tracking and testing results will tell you the same. If you don't have an affiliate system up and running already, and have just skimmed through this so far, I would suggest coming back and using this as a reference when you do start thinking about setting one up. It should be soon though, how about with your next product? A Short Quiz. How Well Do You Analyze the Affiliate Profit Potential of Your Products? Time for a little break from the figures. Just in case you're a little unclear about what I just said above, I want to hit you with a few examples to demonstrate my point, and to prove that you do actually know how to analyze the situation effectively and make changes to your advantage. So here are some examples, and some questions for you. You just learned how to do something new. Here’s the proof. Example one: A year or two back (This is a true story by the way), someone I met through one of my sites tried to strike a joint venture deal with me. It was a JV of the simplest kind. He gives me higher commissions, and I promote his product. Ignoring the quality of the product right now and just concentrating on it's earning potential, he had a $57 product, and offered me two dollars per sale, one off commission. It's probably quite

Influence With Free Membership Sites PLR Ebook

Table of Contents Why Build Free Membership Sites 5 What You Need Before Getting Started 9 Building A Free Membership Site - Step-by-Step 13 Benefiting & Profiting From Your Free Membership Site 17 Sample Content Preview We all know that visibility on the Internet is one of the basic keys to successful marketing. Getting visibility is one of the hardest tasks that most Internet marketers face from the inception of a marketing idea. All Internet marketers well understand the value of writing and marketing articles and eBooks, posting to blogs and forums that belong to others and doing PPC campaigns, as well as, exchanging links and paying for advertising in E-zines and newsletters. With a free membership website, you can almost guarantee yourself, not only a long list of customers and potential customers but that others will be willing to pay YOU for advertisements on your free membership sites and advertisements in the newsletters that you send to your very impressively long list. The shoe will be on the other foot, so to speak. Other marketers will be begging you to download and post articles and eBooks which they have written trying to gain that coveted Internet visibility. Influence is another sought after and enviable facet of Internet marketing. When an Internet marketer gains influence over even a small group of consumers, they have a great deal influence among other Internet marketers, as well. When that pool of consumers is really large, a marketers influence with other marketers increases in direct proportion to the number of consumers that he has influence over. With a free membership site, an Internet marketer gains access to an unlimited number of potential customers in his niche marketing area. By keeping his content fresh and timely he will gain influence over the purchases that the members of his free membership make and even when they make purchases and from whom. This is commonly known as ‘clout’. Paid membership sites usually have limited memberships. If the membership isn’t limited by the marketer, it is limited by the number of people who are willing to pay an annual membership fee... and that number for any niche market IS a limited number. On the other hand, a free membership site that allows interaction between the owner, as well as, with other members is affordable by everybody who might even be remotely interested in the products and services that the enterprising Internet marketer will be offering to his list. The cost to members is a big fat zero and it just can’t get any cheaper than then. Those who might well want to join a paid membership site but either don’t think they can afford it or simply don’t want to spring for the membership fees will certainly be able to join a free membership site. Many Internet marketers who have paid membership sites also have free membership sites. Often those free sites are made up on customers or potential customers who will eventually become members of the paid membership site so it becomes a win/win situation for all concerned. The bottom line here is that there is simply no reason NOT to build a free membership website no matter what niche market you are in. You will have the potential of building an extensive opt-in list and there simply is no other way that is as easy or as cost effective out there! What You Need Before Getting Started Building a free membership website is just about as easy as falling off a log...well, maybe not quite that easy...but it IS easy. There are so many associated advantages to having a free membership site that the little bit of trouble and expense will be well worth the time and effort that are required. To get started on building your free membership website you are going to need some tools. The first thing that you will need to secure is a web hosting service. There are actually two web hosting services that are excellent, reasonably priced and effective. You will have choices to make when you visit either of these two websites. Web Hosting: Host Gator https://hostgator.com/ You will see that there are several choices of servers ranging in price from $10.95 per month to a whopping $289.00 per month. The service that will most likely serve your needs for a very long time can be found under the fist choice of ‘Personal Hosting’. When you click on the ‘learn more’ link, you will see that there are several choices beginning with a ‘hatchling’ account and all the way up to a Dedicated account. The one that will most likely serve your needs is the ‘Baby’ account. It costs only $11.95 per month and will serve your needs for a very long time. Blue Host (recommended) https://bluehost.com/ Boasts FREE Domain, FREE Site Builders & 1-Click WordPress Install starting at just $3.95. You should choose "plus" $5.95 to host unlimited domains. From my experience their support is MUCH nicer compared to HostGator & can be a huge game changer if you ever run into trouble Domain Names: Now you must have a domain name. Domain names are very specific and completely unique. When you type in a domain name, your computer takes you to that website and ONLY to that website. To start with you should think up several possibilities for your domain name. Using your own name in the domain name will make it easier to find one that hasn’t already been taken. You aren’t very likely to find the simplest ones to be available so you are going to have to get a bit creative. There are others, of course, but here are two places that you can register your domain name. Name Cheap https://namecheap.com/ Here you will see that it will cost you only $10.98 to register your .com domain name. There will be many offers for additional names and products. What you really need here is a domain name for no less than two years. You do not need to pay for anything additional that is offered. GoDaddy https://godaddy.com/gdshop/default.asp Here you will see that you can register your .com domain name for $11.99 per year. Again...you will be offered many extras but all you really need is to register your domain name for two years. The reason you need to register it for two years is that search engines really don’t like domains that are only registered for one year. Spammers tend to only register for one year at a time because they won’t be at the same location for anywhere near that long.

Professionalism Revisited Where your Most Effective List Comes from The Ultimate Tried and Tested List Builder Be Careful Not To Interrupt Your Sales Process Maximizing Subs Without Losing Sales Non-Profit Resource Building A Few Last Words Summary Sample Content Preview Always Be Truthful So, lets get started. The number one thing that I need to tell you right now, before we even look at these methods is to make 100% sure that the people signing up know what they're getting themselves into. For example, how many e-zines or newsletters have you ever subscribed to only to find out that they're not actually e-zines and newsletters, just ad lists (which to be honest aren't all that bad in particular situations, but we'll be getting to that in a moment). The choice you make now will shape your business far in to the future, but more importantly whatever you tell your customers and subscribers they'll be getting will shape your response rate considerably, and that's obviously something we'll want to take into account from the very start. So there we have it. Rule number one, never tell your customers they're getting something then deny them that, or send them things that they haven't requested or didn't know about, because not only will that get you into trouble, but it will also affect the loyalty and trust these customers and subscribers have with you, which is so important. What we’re aiming to build here is a targeted and effective list that has response rates through the roof depending on what you're promoting. Don't forget this also includes affiliates, and may form a large part of your affiliate base. Which brings me onto one more point, before we look through the four majorly used techniques for different types of lists through different marketers. The Role of Your List Should Always be at the Front of Your Mind What's your list there for? Promotion and to allow you to make money from the subscribers selling products that either you've created, or affiliate products in your target market, to build joint ventures, and of course increase your affiliate numbers and quality. But there's one more thing I want you to be aware of. Where do I get all this information? Through ad tracking, true, but my list is also a very important part of this. Listen to Your List & Reap the Rewards I know what to sell to them because they tell me what they want. I know when my websites suck or look plain ugly because I ask them. I know what they're interested in buying, the most effective headlines and language to use when typing out ads in relation to my list, who are in effect my target market. So you see, again we're promoting not just for profit, but to learn valuable lessons at the same time. Your list provides as much useful data as your advert tracking, no matter how small. This Is your key to developing a successful business that is aimed at your target market, and creating a sales system that works, not just in your eyes, but in the eyes of the people that are most important to you. And that's your customer, the person who at the end of the day is going to make you a whole lot of money if treated right. So here's the deal. Ask. Don't feel stupid about sending out mails to your list that aren't adverts, or that might seem like random babble to you. To them, not only will they feel closer to you personally, no matter what technique you use below, (which in turn will have them reading more often) but it'll give you really important results about you newest product, your website or even an idea that you have for a product that you'd like feedback on before you even start. Use your list in this way. Promote to learn, not to make a profit, and you'll end up with far more cash at the end of the year than if you just assume, guess or don't bother (Which seems to be many marketers out there). Don't be one of them. Get the knowledge you need to succeed from your customers before they even hand you their money. It works wonders for you, your reputation, your knowledge and your pockets. Ask your list if you're not sure. It's so powerful that it'd be a complete waste if not utilized properly. If you're right, great, go for it. If you're wrong, your list will tell you so, great again. You can fix it and pocket the cash at the same time. I can't think of a fairer deal than that. Keep it in mind. Your list is more than a bunch of names. It's a bunch of opinions, and real important ones at that. Next up, I'm going to talk to you about the four main methods successful marketers use to maintain their lists. Each one with a different use and purpose, and each one has its ups and downs. Granted I'm biased towards two of them, and I'll tell you why when we get there. But like I said, there's no way for me to tell you how to run your business. All I can do is tell you the most effective ways of going about it, and let you decide what's most convenient for you and where you want your business to go. The Rating System Let's also have a little bit of fun here, too, and introduce a rating system to make things interesting. As we discuss each of these techniques, I'll talk to you about their pros and cons, and where they would most likely be used, and you can decide if it'll be relevant to you. I'm also going to give these a starred rating system that will show you the most significant stats related to running such a list. Understand that each list will vary, and these star ratings are only to give you an idea after talking to over a hundred successes with their lists in the following categories. The star rating will be one to five: Unsubscription Rate: One star means a high unsubscription rate per mailing, and five stars means the best, a low unsubscription rate per mailing. Subscription Rate: How easy it is to get people to subscribe to the list using a variety of different methods. The subscription rate at one star is the hardest, and at five stars is the easiest. Ad income: Ad income is the amount of money that's earned through selling adverts to the list. One star is the worst, or the least amount of money earned through ad selling, and five stars is the best, or the most amount of money earned through ad selling. JV Circle: This is the ease of using your list as a bargaining tool, for example in ad swaps or product launches, and specific joint venture opportunities. One star is the worst, which is also the least valuable in terms of gaining joint ventures, and five stars is the best, the most valuable that marketers want to get their hands on for joint ventures. Response Rate over Time: Response rate over time, measures how quickly the quality of the list diminishes, for example when sending endless paid for ads and nothing else, the response rate goes down over time. One star is the worst, where response rate over time goes down badly, five stars is the best, where people keep reading and even wait for your mail to arrive in their inboxes in the morning. General Usefulness: For things such as research, surveys and requesting information, testimonials etc. Five stars is the best, easiest to get results from. One star is the worst, the hardest to get results from. Maintenance Time: The time it takes per issue to put together and send out. One star is the worst, taking a lot of time to prepare and send. And, five stars is the best, the fastest, and the easiest to prepare and send out.

Table of Contents Introduction Overview of Pricing Pricing Strategies: Getting Started The Bigger Picture Pricing with Regard to Competition Rule 1: Premium Products Sell at Premium Prices Rule 2: Wowing through Price Is a Bad Move Don’t Be Afraid Times Are Changing Increase Sales by Presenting Choices Rewards for Customers Equals More Cash for You Trials and Lead Generation Banning the Word Cheap Value Added Summary Overview of Added Value Adding Value Explained Cut-Off Dates Limited Numbers Done Right Standard Testimonials Testimonials - But Better The Ultimate Testimonial The Standard Bonus Bonuses - But Smarter Bonuses Done Right A Little Something Extra Summary Sample Content Preview The Bigger Picture Now understand, there's a much bigger picture to this than most people realize. A lot of the time prices are put there, just because they can be and possibly fitted loosely around competition and other products and services offering similar things, however, it's not just about planting a number and a dollar sign behind it. All through this process you should be asking yourself lots of why questions. Some of the time, people ask me why the heck I go so in depth into subjects and talk about why they happen. They just want to know how to make a whole load of cash real quick. Well, I say to them I can tell you how to do stuff, but if the situation changes, and you didn't know why it worked in the first place, then you're going to have to come right back to me again, hand me another five hundred dollars just to find out how to do the same thing in a different way. However, if I tell you how things work, you can take some serious knowledge and know-how away with you, and you have the power to adapt to the fast paced changing world of business online or offline. If you can't adapt, you're dead. Or your business is anyway. Like I say, there's quite a lot to this, and a lot of things that we're going to talk about, and there's going to be a load of questions that are going to pop into your head. Does competition matter in such a big marketplace with regards to pricing? Should I be cheaper? Should I be more expensive? How do I know when to be which and why? Should I give special offers to particular groups of people? Who? Why? Should I offer different versions of my product at different prices? How do I do that, and how do I know if I'm doing right? There's a shed load of answers about the above and much more that I'm going to give you in a moment. But all the way through this I want you to keep in mind the flexibility you have as an online marketer with your pricing. Get this right, and it could easily mean double the profits for you. Get it wrong, and it's likely you'll have trouble selling anything at all. Pricing with Regard to Competition So, with the formalities and generalizations out of the way, lets look at how you should price your products with regard to competition. The reason I want to talk about this first, is simple. When you're looking at pricing, the very first thing you're likely to do is say, hey, so what is everyone else charging for similar products? And you may go from there. Now there's nothing wrong with doing this at all, but there's more to think about, and a lot more questions to ask than a simple can I beat what this guy is charging for his service? Your price doesn't have to beat everyone else’s out there for you to get sales. This is something that I learned a long time ago, and you may remember me talking about actually increasing my sales by putting the price of the monthly membership up, and offering an option that was actually ten times more money up front, which increased profits even further. You really need to be aware of what other people are charging for their products, but that doesn't by any means signal that you have to go out there and beat them. Imagine you've just started up an ad tracking and autoresponder script site that's so detailed, and so professional that it smacks the pants off the competition. But see the other sites offering the same service are hanging around at the ten dollar per month mark. Does this mean that you have to go and beat them and have a lower price for anyone to look at you? Nope, not at all. What you have on your hands is a premium product, and you shouldn't be worried to sell it at a premium price. Rule 1: Premium Products Sell at Premium Prices So, here’s rule number one. If you have a great premium product, don't be afraid to bump the price up. You do not by any means have to beat a competitor’s price to be competitive, in fact, by putting your price up, it's quite possible that you'll outsell your cheaper competition. Why? Because a higher price screams quality. Don't, for one moment, believe you have to have the best price to make any sales. That's just not true, you just have to have the best sales system, and of course a premium product if you really ever want anyone to buy from you again. Rule 2: Wowing Through Price Is a Bad Move The fact is, if your price is too low, people look at you and wonder why the heck you're charging that tiny amount. If your brand spanking new piece of advanced technology software is really as good as you say it is, why does it only cost ten dollars? So there we have rule number two. Never price yourself so low that you think people will look and think wow that’s a quality sounding product, look how little it costs! That's not what they're saying at all. They're saying, “Wow, look at how little that costs. There can't be that much to it.” So in effect, all you're doing here is adding even more value to your product through a higher price. It might be the same product, but I tell you now, it's much more likely to sell more copies at a price that someone might look at and think that it's reasonable, or average than something someone might look at and fall off their chair at how cheap you are. Don’t Be Afraid Too many people are afraid to take the leap and price their products as they believe they're worth. Too many people look at competition and think they have to cost less otherwise no one is going to buy their stuff, or they'll make less money out of it. This is simply not true. Don't undervalue yourself just for the sake of being cheaper. If you have a better product, you put a higher price tag on it. The experimentation and playing around to find the right combination of offers, deals, follow-up and pricing options can come later. I could show you so many products that are out there right now, in competition with each other, but one is charging a heck of a lot more than the other. How about this guide, for one? Here's us charging you a thousand dollars for the complete set of manuals, but there are plenty of other guides out there that cost ten dollars. Will the quality of both of them be the same? Looking at the price alone, from a customer’s point of view, I highly doubt it. Times Are Changing - Business Needs To Adapt How about the latest purchase you made for your house, whether it was a whole work surface, a new garage door, a toaster, a dinner table, whatever it was. I bet if you think about it, you'll see that times have changed. A long time ago, even before I was born, people wanted things that worked. They were just OK. But nowadays that's not enough. It's got to be the best, the fastest, the nicest, the easiest to use. There's a real market for premium products emerging. Make sure you don't place yours in the bargain bin if it's meant as premium product, not a bargain basement product.

Each time you think of one of your fears write it down on the list and then figure out ways you can take small steps to overcome these fears. When you get that first feeling that you have the courage to face your fears you will feel fantastic. Never allow yourself to feel ashamed of your fears. These fears have been programmed into your subconscious mind probably over years and years of time. The only thing you need to worry about is how to start facing them. Keep a list of all the fears you want to face and everything you can do to overcome these fears. As you accomplish each one, you can check it off the list. Give yourself a reward for each one you achieve. The sooner you start to face your fears, the sooner you will develop courage which will in turn help build confidence to overcome shyness. From Shy to Outgoing From Shy to Outgoing From Shy to Outgoing From Shy to Outgoing From Shy to Outgoing From Shy to Outgoing From Shy to Outgoing From Shy to Outgoing - Yes You Can Do It! Yes You Can Do It!Yes You Can Do It! Yes You Can Do It! Yes You Can Do It! When we were children there are many things that we were shy about doing. Did your parents have you sing in front of other people? Did you feel shy and find yourself turning away from the people you were singing to? Your parents may have told you that was really cute and so you've used it throughout your life thinking it was cute. You may not have done it consciously, however it is possible that is still affecting your life. When you feel shy as a child, many times it carries over into your teen years and then into adulthood. What you want to do now is try to figure out how to overcome this shyness. Overcoming shyness can be done one step at a time. Put yourself in situations where you need to talk to other people. Before you go, right down several different subjects you could talk about that would be interesting to people. Read through this several times and practice talking in front of the mirror. If you have something put together to talk about it will make it much easier to approach others. Practice in front of the mirror pay attention to your body language. If you find yourself covering your mouth you laugh, wiggling your fingers together, or holding your head down, these are things you will want to work on. Practice making eye contact with yourself in the mirror while you talk about your subject you have written down. Try to keep your hands down to your sides so you won't be tempted to cover your mouth when you speak. The more time you spend practicing in front of the mirror the easier it will be to start up an actual conversation. Practice smiling in the mirror. Make sure that your smile does not look fake and that it comes from your heart. Check out your posture and make sure you are standing straight and look like you are confident when you are speaking. Do this every day for a week or two. Once you feel confident, put yourself in a social situation and practice just smiling and saying hi to people as you pass them. Once you feel confident doing this, try starting up a conversation with somebody. Remember to use good eye contact. The best way to start this is to talk to somebody you're almost positive you will never meet again. This way you can tell yourself even if I make a fool of myself, who cares, I will never see this person again. By developing this attitude it makes it much easier to approach them and speak confidently. Who knows you might just make a great friend. Why not try taking a speech course. If you are in the course with other people who are also nervous speaking in public, it makes it much easier to socialize with them. The speech class will help you to become more confident when you speak and therefore make it easier to approach others. As you become more confident speaking to other people you will find your shyness slowly fading away. Why Not Try a Bold New Look to Help You Overcome Shyness If you are tired of looking the same old way, why not try new look. Many shy people dress the part. When you are shy, sometimes you wear clothes that are baggy and cover your body because you are uncomfortable showing your figure. You may have the same hairstyle you've had since you were a child because you are afraid of change. By giving yourself a new look; it will help you build confidence. Once you have a new fashionable outfit and you have cut your hair to the newest styles, you may be shocked when you look in the mirror. This will also be a good time to do some practicing in front of the mirror to build confidence for talking to other people. See if you notice a difference in your body language with your new look, then you did when you were doing it with your old look. Do you feel like you are making more eye contact and feeling more secure in your conversation? It is surprising how just changing your looks can bring out a confidence you never knew you had. Take some risks with your own new look. Look through magazines for clothing styles or hairstyles that you think would look great on you. Once you have packaged yourself different you will be surprised at how great you feel. If you are not sure what type of clothes look good on your body style why not hire a consultant or go to a store that has sales people that can help you pick the perfect outfits for your body type? When you go to the hair salon look through all their hair magazines and choose several styles you think the look great on you. Then show them to the hair stylist and ask them their opinion on which one they feel would look best.

Sample Content Preview Building Trust to Build a Better Relationship Are you honest with your partner? Are they honest with you? If you want to have, a healthy relationship is imperative that you are completely honest with each other. Once you have caught, or have been caught in a lie is very difficult to trust each other. When you trust each other, you will not need to wonder what the other one is doing when you are not together because you will know that they are trustworthy. Telling the truth helps maintain your faith in each other and strengthens your relationship. Without trust it is nearly impossible to have strong, loving, lasting relationships. So before you go and tell a lie to a partner, think twice. When you are honest with your partner, you show them respect for their feelings. Honesty is the very foundation of any good relationship. By being true and honest you are expressing your love to your partner. Everyone deserves honesty. Follow these simple tips to build a strong relationship 1. Be honest about your job, the hours you work, your pay, and the people you work with. If you have a meeting with someone of the opposite sex, don't tell your partner you are working with someone else. You may think you are sparing their feelings of jealousy. However, if they find out, you were not truthful the first thing they will think is you are hiding something. You will at times have to work with others that your spouse could be jealously of, however if you have an honest relationship this would not be the case as you would have trust between you. 2. Do not tell your partner that you have the same dreams and goals if that is not the case. When they ask you to start working on them, you will become bored and resent doing it. Then if you blurt it out that you never wanted this anyway, how do you think they will feel? 3. If your partner asks you what's wrong, tell them and be honest. Don't say, “Nothing” when it is, something. Tell your partner the truth and work it out. Unless you are open and honest about your needs and wants, how can they help you achieve them? 4. You should both be honest about how you feel about each others friends. If your partner has a friend which you, absolutely cannot stand, don't tell them you like them or you'll wind up doing things with them and resent it. Work it out so that when you go out with friends as a couple you go with the ones that you both like. When you go out alone with friends choose the one's your partner would rather not hang out with. The best way to show respect for your partner is to be honest with them. After all if you can't be honest with them, who can you be honest with? Remember that being honest will build a strong foundation for a long and happy relationship. Fix Your Relationship by Improving Communication Communication is key One of the things that becomes a source of problems for married couples is lack of communication. This is true especially of men, who are notorious for not expressing their feelings. A lot of arguments can be avoided simply by talking things out. Couples should be open to each other about the problems and difficulties they are encountering. They should start communicating before it reaches a critical point and becomes a full blown fight. Poor communication is one of the most common relationship problems that most people encounter. Good communication in a relationship necessitates a lot of skills, without which there is greater possibility of relationship problems arising. Starting with getting rid of all distractions such as TV’s and radio noise, and arranging a quality time that suits both partners, is a good way to set off communication. Do away with interrupting the other person when talking, and avoid categorizing the partner. Talking about good factors of the relationship as well as the relationship problems, can positively help create good communication. Communication also involves non-verbal cues such as body language and with how common everyday things are done. For example, when you see your partner crossing his arms while you’re explaining something, he may not be receptive to what you are saying. Seeing his/her body tense up when you bring up a certain topic may mean that the particular subject is causing him/her stress. A misconception people have over communication is that it requires words and a schedule to sit down and talk. While it is true that couples need to find time to talk on a regular basis, consistent communication goes beyond simply this. The problem only comes when the other person fails to get the message – the problem of “miscommunication”. A much greater concern than having either a good or a bad message is the other person to understand what you are trying to get at rather than ending up with the other’s careless shrug of “whatever” – the worst form of bad relationship communication. Miscommunication is best resolved by asking. Do not make assumptions or jump to conclusions (that are most probably wrong). Another obstacle to having a great relationship communication is communicating the truth. It already is a problem when a couple goes through with miscommunication, so what more if the sender expresses an erroneous message. Lying (or hiding the truth) always only makes things worse. Finally, the last thing to keep in mind when it comes to relationship communication is how we communicate. If you’re not sure of what the other is trying to communicate, then without hesitation, ask for an explanation, although you may get the frequent response of “don’t you get it?!” Sincerely say, “I’m sorry, but I don’t get what you’re saying.” And for the other, appreciate the gap-bridging; you would rather hear a question than a ‘whatever’. Don't finish your partners thought before they are expressed. In other words, if they say I was thinking about the back yard. Don't cut them off before they finish and say I already know what you want and I do not want to do it. Well the y very well, if given the chance may have said, I was thinking that what you suggested last week would be perfect. By learning to listen to the needs of the other person and compromising, arguments can be avoided. Past issues should no longer be brought up, if at all possible, so that the couple can look ahead and face the future together. It takes two people working together to make marriage work. It takes years and even decades to make it succeed. The direction of the marriage should always be decided by both parties.
