So, what are these two things and why are they so important? Research has shown that if you can be gritty and resilient – sticking with the things that matter to you and bouncing back if and when you fail – this is a vital component of your success, regardless of how much intelligence and talent you possess. This gives you the relentless drive you need to succeed, whatever adversity you face. What Is Grit? Put in basic terms, grit is perseverance and passion for meaningful, long-term goals. It’s the capacity to continue to persist at something you’re passionate about and to persevere even if obstacles get in your way. This is the type of passion that’s about commitment and direction, not infatuation or intense emotion. With this type of passion, you’re able to remain committed to tasks that are boring, difficult or challenging. Not only that, but grit is about perseverance too. Persevering means sticking with it and continuing to work hard, even if you experience failure or difficulties. Grit is incredibly important in life because it drives our success and achievement. Being naturally talented and smart is great, however, if you want to truly thrive and do well in life (and who doesn’t?) you need to be able to persevere. Without grit and resilience, talent can amount to nothing but unmet potential. It’s only when you put in effort that your talents become skills that can lead to success. What Is Resilience? Let’s look more closely at resilience. Typically, resilience is defined as being able to recover from even the most difficult of life’s events. It is your ability to cope with adversity, withstand it and, when you fail, to bounce back and carry on growing, even when life takes a downturn. Resilience isn’t a trampoline. You won’t be up one moment and down the next. Rather, it’s more like a mountain climb with no trail map. It will take strength, time and support from others. You’re sure to experience many setbacks on the way. Eventually, though, you’ll get to the summit and be able to look back and see the distance that you’ve traveled. It’s important to note, though, that resilient people will still experience emotional upheaval, suffering, and stress. While it’s common to equate being resilient with being mentally tough, instead, demonstrating resilience means working through that suffering and emotional pain and coming out the other side stronger and more positive. Resilience is vital since it gives you the strength you need to process hardship and overcome it. If you lack resilience, you’ll be overwhelmed too easily, and can be tempted to adopt unhealthy coping strategies to get through the tough times. Resilient people, on the other hand, can tap into their own support systems and strengths when it comes to overcoming challenges and working through problems. Resilience comes in two forms. Emotional resilience allows you to tap into your own optimism, even if you’re trying to cope in a crisis. Meanwhile, physical resilience is your body’s capacity to adapt to a challenge and to recover more quickly. Both are helpful when it comes to overcoming adversity. The good news is that resilience isn’t a trait that’s fixed in place. You can bolster or even build resilience in yourself by changing your behaviors and patterns of thinking, helping you to find more inner strength. Chapter 3: Some Real-Life Examples of Grit and Relentless Drive Everyone will undoubtedly be able to think of some famous examples that demonstrate grit and relentless drive. Some obvious ones include Henry Ford, who declared bankruptcy no less than five times before finally achieving success with the Ford Motor Company, or Bill Gates, whose first product, the Traf-O-Data, was a shocking failure before he went back to the drawing board and developed Microsoft. However, how can you apply grit and relentless drive to everyday life? Here are a few examples that may resonate more easily with you, and that you may recognize from your daily life.  You’re on the wrestling team. It’s your first year and you’re still learning more about this sport. Each time you go to a tournament or dual, you lose. Instead of quitting, though, you continue returning to each drill and practice, and attend the next tournament or dual.  You’re learning an especially challenging piece of music. The finger movements are complex, and you’re considered to be “average” by your instructor. Most of your peers are able to perform better than you. However, rather than quitting, you continue to practice each day, taking deliberate effort to get better and, over the weeks and months, your finger movements start to become more fluid.  You’ve always wanted to learn karate, but now you’re middle-aged and your body isn’t as flexible as it once was. The other students are strong, more flexible and faster than you. Yet, you never miss a training session. You practice the different techniques you’ve learned and work out how you can adapt them for your own body while boosting your accuracy, speed and stamina. Finally, you earn your first belt.  You’ve never been good at art. You struggle to even draw a basic stick figure. However, with a determination to learn how you can draw a person you start taking classes and, after several months, you’re able to make your own self-portrait.  You’ve always been keen to learn a different language, but you’re worried you’re too old now that you’ve retired, and it’ll take far too long to become fluent. One day, you spot an advert for a language course that promotes fluency in just three months. You join this program, complete all the lessons and, once the course is complete, you’re able to hold a conversation in the language of your choice. All of these are examples of how grit and resilience work in practice. These are just some of the ways in which ordinary people harness the potential of these two key elements for success in their own lives.

The 7 Secrets Of Greatness MRR Ebook With Audio

Sample Content Preview Greatness Is Not Fame Hitler, Stalin and Usama Bin Laden are three of the most famous names on the planet but nobody (except for some mentally challenged crackpots) would consider them great. Being famous - or infamous in this case - is not a criterion for greatness. However, greatness can bring great fame, and the examples are endless. Greatness Is Not Wealth Many of us think that being rich makes you a great person. This is false. Pursuing wealth for its own sake makes a person anything but great, as it can bring out some pretty horrible qualities. Greatness is not measured by X millions or billions of dollars. Greatness can bring great wealth but never the other way around. Let's take Donald Trump. Love him or hate him as a politician, we must agree that he is great in his original profession as a businessman. It's not his wealth that makes him great but his amazing business savvy, vision and pioneering spirit. This is what has allowed him to build the huge business empire he has today. Greatness Is Not Physical Strength We only must look at Gandhi or Mother Theresa to know that greatness does not come from physical strength. However, both Gandhi and Mother Theresa had an amazing strength of character, which is one of the qualities that made them great. The bottom line: The closest definition of greatness would be the ability to achieve what you choose to achieve with passion, excellence and integrity. This is a great definition because it applies to you, in whatever aspect of your life you choose to be great. Greatness means being a master at achieving your goals, whether they are big or small. The following chapters will discuss each of the 7 qualities you need to cultivate and how to develop them. They are not God-given talents or genetic traits that certain people exclusively possess. They are habits and mindsets that you can learn and adapt. All it takes is resolve and practice. You already possess some of these traits but just haven't harnessed them properly. So, read on and discover how to master your greatness! Chapter 2: Vision Steve Jobs had a vision when he started building computers in his garage. His vision was a computer in every home, making technology easily accessible to all people. Martin Luther King had a vision when he was still an obscure pastor. His vision was a word of equal opportunity without discrimination or racial barriers. Both men turned their respective visions into a reality that revolutionized the world. The first step in your journey to greatness starts with having a vision. What is your life goal? What is it that you are most passionate to achieve? What is the legacy you would like to leave behind you? Have you ever really sat down and thought about it? Vision Versus Goals The first thing you need to do is to distinguish between your vision and your goals. Think of your vision as the destination that you want to arrive at. Goals are the "stations" along the way that slowly but surely bring you closer to your vision. Having a clear vision is your foundation. It allows you to decide on the steps you need to take to achieve it, to plan structure and to gear your life towards reaching the destination. Once you have identified your vision, you will start to set the short- term and long-term goals that you need to achieve. For example, if your vision is to become a pediatrician, your first long-term goal would be to finish medical school. Short term goals would be to study and pass exams. The next long-term goal would be an internship, with short term goals being to learn all the practical skills you need.

Start Your Own Coaching Business MRR Ebook

Sample Content Preview When you decide to become an online coach it will do a great deal for your own professional and personal growth. If you are an expert in your subject there is always more to learn and you will be committed to doing this so that you can provide your clients with the most up to date and useful information. It is very satisfying to teach others what you know and to help them achieve their own goals. You will need to be a good communicator, and as you perform more coaching you will refine your communication skills. Dealing with all different kinds of people will open your mind and help you to develop as a person. To be a good online coach you need to be disciplined and organized. If you commit to a coaching session with a client at a specific time then you have to be on time. You should plan out your coaching sessions to ensure that your clients get the best from them and feel like they have received a lot of value from you. There is Good Money in Online Coaching Online coaches charge hundreds if not thousands of dollars for personal coaching. If you are coaching several different people at the same time then you can charge on a per person basis which will bring you in a good amount of money. Most people never turn what they know into hard cash. This is exactly what an online coach does. They are happy to provide their knowledge to others in return for a significant sum of money. Experts in the digital marketing niche can charge thousands for an hour of their time. The same goes for coaches in personal development and life coaching. When you are starting out you will need to charge less than this but an hour of your time can still be worth hundreds of dollars. By providing personal one on one attention to individual clients they will appreciate this and will reward you handsomely for it. As long as you are providing good value people will be happy to pay you what you want. Create your own Schedule You decide when you will work. Obviously you need to be around when your clients are and if they are in different countries then you need to plan for the differences in time zones. With today’s technology you can send out reminders to your clients and use the Internet for all of your coaching sessions. It is fairly easy for you to tell your clients when you are available for coaching. You need to be flexible here and make yourself available to your clients when it suits them. Some of them may have full time jobs and only be available at evenings and weekends. What you can definitely control is the number of coaching sessions that you provide in a day. Very Easy to get started You probably have all of the tools that you need to become an online coach right now. A laptop or desktop computer and an Internet connection and you are ready to go. Some online coaches claim that they can provide online sessions when they are on the move by using a tablet device. This is not something that we would recommend when you are starting out. Clients will expect you to communicate with them using a messenger service such as Skype, Zoom, Facebook etc. You could offer your clients the choice of platform for your sessions. All of these services are free and you can even record the sessions that you have with your clients (there may be a small charge for this). Everyone has email so you can use this as another communications medium. We recommend that you setup Google Drive or some other cloud service so that you can share materials with your clients. If you need them to see video footage then this will often be too large a file to send via email. Then there is texting. You can send text messages anywhere in the world for very little these days. If your client likes this form of communication then ask them for their phone number and provide yours as well. We recommend that you go for the best Internet package that you can for your coaching business. It is also a good idea to have a backup service as well. If your Internet access is down then you cannot provide coaching sessions. This is not going to go down well with your clients so always have a backup plan. With high bandwidth Internet access you can hold video calls and easily share your computer screen for demonstrations etc. Your clients will appreciate this as you are really helping them to learn what you know. Most people appreciate over the shoulder training. In the next chapter we will discuss the mindset you need to become a successful online coach… People often think that they need some special “insider knowledge” to become a successful and profitable online coach. This is not the case. What you do need is the right mindset to make a success out of online coaching. You need to have the right plan and take the right action. Assuming that you are providing effective coaching sessions for your clients this is all that you need. If you were to analyze a successful online coach you would find that they have the following traits: • They are confident • They have clarity • They have a mentality of abundance • They are always positive Basically successful online coaches have a magnetic personality. People are easily drawn to them and look forward to their coaching sessions with them. Take a look at Tony Robbins for example. He has to be one of the most successful coaches of all time. So many people like him because of his magnetic personality. He started life as a janitor! Unfortunately there are a number of online coaches that do not succeed. This is because they do not have the right mindset for success. They do not exude confidence and as a result they take the wrong action. Clients are not confident in their ability to deliver what they need. These coaches may be total experts in their niche. But this is not enough. If they do not have the right mindset to wow their clients then they are going to struggle. Successful online coaches never appear desperate for business (even if they are). They are always certain that they can get the right result for their clients.

Don’t think you need to dive right in and overdo it right away. Even if you can put in five minutes a day, it’s enough. “When Is the best time to practice yoga?” Yoga can be practiced at any time, but it’s best done two to three hours after a meal. This means that morning time is ideal. Yoga requires your body to do a lot of twisting and turning, bending, and concentration, and having a recent meal can upset this. “What is om-ing and why is it important?” When you attend a yoga class, you will notice others om-ing at the beginning and end of each session. Om-ing is a vibration sound that helps relax the body and mind and connect us to the sounds and rhythm of the world. Ancient philosophers say that om-ing is found in nature and can always be heard or synchronized. “I am not flexible so I shouldn’t even do yoga, right?” Wrong! You should start yoga right away if you think you are not flexible. When you first start, it’s okay not to be flexible. How online courses work is that a creator uses their knowledge or experience in a particular topic to create lesson plans that are uploaded online. These lesson plans can include worksheets, readings, or video tutorials. They put these resources on a platform or website that potential customers can reach and then use. Benefits of an Online Course Online courses are beneficial for a number of reasons. They are beneficial to both the student and the creator. Here is why: Online courses are beneficial to students because it allows them easy access to more information. These courses can be used alone to further a student’s knowledge, or they can be used in junction with another class to help the student better understand the topic as a whole. More so, many online courses are free, which allows students to get an education without going into more debt. At the same time, online courses are very beneficial to the creator as well. The reason for this is that many creators make money on their courses. On average, online course creators make between $1,000 and $5,000 a month on their online courses, but some creators make more than that. In fact, online learning is expected to reach more than $240 billion by 2021. Attributes of a Successful Online Course In order for the creator to make money off their online course, the course must have several attributes. Without these attributes, customers will immediately assume that the online course may not be worth their time or money. Here are the attributes of a successful online course: ● Quality Content: Online courses must have quality content. In other words, the content must be factually accurate and up-to-date. If the content is not relevant, students will not waste their money on it. ● Multimedia Use: Another attribute of a successful online course is the use of multiple media outlets. Since it is online, you have access to a number of different learning tools. And since there are many different types of learners, you should use a variety of multimedia tools in order to reach the most amount of students possible. ● Good Pacing: Successful online courses also have correct pacing. What this means is that the course needs to be structured so that way it is neither overwhelming nor underwhelming. You want to make the lesson sizes digestible but challenging at the same time. ● User-Friendly Setup: A user-friendly setup is another attribute of successful online courses. You do not want your students confused about where to go or what to do. Instead, they should be able to figure it out themselves because of the user-friendly setup. ● Self-Directed: The final attribute of a successful online course is that it is self-directed. What this means is that the student has to have enough space to be able to go at their own pace and learn the way that they see fit. The reason for this is that most online students are busy and need to be able to tailor the course to their busy lives. Is an Online Course Right for You? With this in mind, you may be wondering, “Is an online course right for me?” To help you better answer this question, here is a series of questions you should ask yourself: ● Am I passionate about a particular topic? ● Am I highly knowledgeable or skilled on a particular topic? ● Do I want to help other people learn about a skill? ● Would I still teach people on this topic even if I wasn’t getting paid? If you answered yes to all four questions, then creating an online course is right for you. Even if you are unfamiliar with online course creation or technological skills, do not worry. The rest of this guide is designed to help you learn key tricks to creating a financially successful online course. Chapter 2: Creating the Perfect Topic, Learning Outcomes, and Course Goals To begin creating a successful online course, you must come up with the perfect topic, engaging learning outcomes, and quantifiable course goals for yourself. Without these three things, your online course will lack direction, which makes it less successful and engaging for both you and your students. Picking the Perfect Topic The first step to creating an online course is picking the perfect topic. This topic should be one that you are passionate about, knowledgeable about, and in high demand on the market. If the topic fails to meet any one of these three criteria, then it is not the perfect topic. Here is how to decide on the best topic for your online course: First and foremost, you must be passionate about the topic you are teaching on. If you are not passionate about it, that will be reflected in your online course. As a result, your course will be bland and boring. If you are not interested in the topic, how can you expect your students to be? Furthermore, if you plan on doing this type of business long-term and you’re not passionate about the topic, it will lead to burnout and unhappiness.

Sample Content Preview Bruce Lee said that he doesn’t fear the man who practices 1,000 different kicks once. Bruce Lee feared the man who practiced one kick a thousand times. In other words, Bruce Lee “feared” (or respected at least) mastery. Bruce was enamoured with those who had honed and perfected their technique through countless hours of rigorous practice. This is what we all can hope to accomplish and what we all should aim for. This relates to a subject in fitness called “greasing the groove.” Essentially, the argument here is that by training a movement or a pattern every single day, you will find it becomes more and more deeply ingrained with every attempt. Eventually, it will become second nature and you will be faster, stronger, more efficient and more capable. So, while that perfect mastery might seem a long way now, keep in mind that each attempt is just one of your thousand reps. That every single attempt makes you a little bit better. Eventually, you’ll be a master. 3 Use Fear Setting – Tim Ferriss Author Tim Ferriss is responsible for starting the “lifestyle design” movement, and can even take some amount of credit for the equally big health tracking trend. Tim’s books have all reached the bestseller lists, he has worked with some of the most successful people on the planet, he has run multiple businesses, and he also has a HUGE podcast. If you haven’t checked him out, then we recommend you do! Tim recommends a technique called fear setting to achieve your goals. The idea is that many of us fail to make progress because we’re scared of failure. You might not apply for other jobs because you’re scared of what leaving your current work might mean. You may not speak to an attractive member of the opposite sex because you’re too scared of rejection. But here is the thing: most of us fail to ever define precisely what we’re afraid of. As a result of this, we end up blowing those fears out of all proportion and becoming frozen in fright. By taking a moment to write down precisely what it is you are scared of, you will often realize that your fears really aren’t all that bad and that you’re perhaps overreacting. Write down all the things you’re scared of, and then next to each point, write down how likely it is to happen, how it could be prevented, and what you would do in that worst-case scenario. For example, let’s discuss leaving your job for a new one. Perhaps you’re scared that you’ll leave your job and not like the new position, you’ll end up getting fired or leaving, and then will be penniless. Your partner will leave you because you made such a bad decision, your children will go hungry, and you’ll be forced to sell your home. The gap on your CV means you’ll never work in that industry again. Okay, so how likely is this? First: you won’t give up your current job until you have the new one. Second: if you don’t like the new job, you can just look for work again. There are laws in place to prevent unfair firing, and you should be able to get a very good idea of the workplace culture and vibe before you transition to the new position. All of this makes the chances of ending up jobless much smaller. Now consider that you probably could get your old job back if ever you needed to. That you likely have at least some savings you could live off for a while. That your parents might step in to help. That you can discuss the idea with your partner. And that they support your decisions. ALL of this makes you realize that the “fears” were simple constructs of your own mind. 4 Make It Awesome – Elon Musk Elon Musk is probably the closest thing we have to a modern day Tesla – to the point that he named one of his companies after him! Elon went from complete obscurity to running PayPal, Tesla, and Space-X. He is almost entirely responsible for driving the commercial space travel industry, is transforming the environment with electric cars, and is known for pulling off Tony Stark-esque PR stunts. How does he do all this? Simple: Elon Musk clearly loves being the guy to introduce the world to science fiction ideas. He has spoken before about how he dislikes boring businesses. As such, he has chased after his biggest goals and ambitions. Simply by doing this, he has been more successful. That’s true because he loves what he is doing and feels motivated to wake up every day. But it’s also true because such big lofty goals actually motivate other people better too. They are memorable, they garner media attention… So, don’t have small goals! Make it awesome and go for broke. 5 Let It Come – Einstein Einstein is just one example of a great thinker who had his epiphany while relaxing. The story is famous by now: he was sorting through patents at the patent office where he worked, then the theory of special relativity came to him in a vision. He visualized what it would feel like to fall off of a roof while watching another object fall from the same point. In doing so, he understood relativity! Why did this happen? The answer is that he was actually engaging in what most of us would consider menial or mindless work. When we do this, it activates a network of brain regions known collectively as the “default mode network.” The reason this is important, is that this network is responsible for creativity, imagination, and daydreaming.

Here you want to include exciting details about your business. You want to include keywords for your niche and related hashtags here as well as a text only URL. Instagram will recommend related hashtags here so choose the ones with the highest level of engagement Using the right hashtags is critical to your success with Instagram. When you use the right hashtags you will be able to increase reach and awareness organically. Instagram has changed its algorithm in the way that it treats hashtags. Now it will prioritize hashtags that are relevant to the post content rather than taking into consideration the number of hashtags. So here you are going to discover the right way to find great hashtags for your Instagram content. Instagram has a search feature which you will use to find trending hashtags in specific categories. As an example if you select the “Beauty” category you will then be able to see what hashtags are trending in this category under “related hashtags”. If you are in the beauty niche you can add some of these hashtags to your posts to maximize your chances of increasing your reach. Make a record of the hashtags that you discover using this method so that you can use the in conjunction with other targeted hashtags in your content. How do you find targeted hashtags? Just use the “Tags” function. When you select the “Tags” function you will be able to find targeted hashtags generated through the autocomplete feature. So just type in a niche keyword in the “search hashtags” field and this will reveal a list of hashtags related to the keyword. You can use this process for broad keywords related to your niche and then for long tail keywords as well so that you can discover the content that is generating the highest engagement levels in your niche. You will learn a lot about hashtags by using this method. Once you enter a keyword Instagram generates a list of related hashtags for you and you will be able to see the number of posts that have used it. We recommend that you make a note of the hashtags that Instagram displays. You can then use these in related content. Don’t use unrelated hashtags in your posts. Just stick to the related ones. You can follow hashtags so that you are up to date with the content that uses it. Make a note of any hashtag suggestions as these can all help with increasing the reach of your posts. Follow these steps for your broad and long tail keywords. We recommend that you use hashtags that have been included in more than 50,000 posts but not more than one million posts so that you can be confident of the maximum reach for your content. It doesn’t matter if you are creating a normal post or an Instagram Ad you want it to get a lot of views, comments, likes and be shared as much as possible. In this section we will show you how to create Instagram posts that will get a ton of views, shares, comments and likes right out of the gate. You probably already know that Instagram is a visual platform so every post must have an image or a video. You will also be able to add hashtags and a caption to your post. If you already have an image in your gallery then you can use this for your post. It is also possible for you to create a short video using images in your gallery. This is achieved by using the “Boomerang” feature. Just use the “combine: feature to include all of the images into the post. We recommend that you edit any image that you use on Instagram to make it more appealing. You can add a filter to your image, adjust the lighting and other settings too. Instagram has a large selection of filters and if you can’t find what you want there then there are external apps that can provide additional filters. Once you have made your image look really appealing it is time to add additional content to your image post. There are a number of things that you can focus on to increase the engagement levels for your posts: - Strategically placed hashtags - Keywords - A call to action - Targeted hashtags You need to create a caption which is compelling and will attract views. Be sure to add your main keyword here and target niche keywords. The best captions contain actionable questions or phrases that entice users to visit your website to get more of your content or learn more about your business. Finish your caption by adding targeted hashtags at the end. Don’t go crazy with hashtags. Aim to use around 3 to 9 hashtags. Just because you can add a maximum of 30 hashtags doesn’t mean that you should. If it is relevant add a location to your post and you can tag people into your post as well. If you followed the advice in the last section you will have a number of posts that have good levels of engagement. One of the best things that you can do is to find your best performing posts and then boost them to extend your reach and engage with more of your target audience.

Internet Marketing Mistakes MRR Ebook

Sample Content Preview AIMING FOR PERFECTION When the Wright brothers took their first historic flight on December 17, 1903, they weren’t trying for perfection. They weren’t trying to offer great cocktail service or wireless Internet or 100 channels of TV aboard their flying machine. They just wanted the darned thing to stay up in the air for a few seconds! And a few seconds – twelve, to be exact – was all they got. And they became famous for it. Now imagine if they had been concerned about the extras – no, I don’t mean beverage service or comfy seats. But if they had wanted a crash-free landing, a three-hour (or three-minute!) flight, a stylish rig – they’d probably have never gone out to that sand dune in Kitty Hawk in the first place. They’d still be in the workshop, tinkering with the wheels or wing flaps. What Orville and Wilbur knew – and what information marketers would do well to take note of – is that perfection is over-rated. In fact, it doesn’t exist. So waiting until your product is “per-fect” before you release it means you have a good chance of either never releasing it at all, or delaying so long that someone else beats you to the punch and scoops your market out from under you. Hesitant to release a product that is less than perfect? Well, Microsoft – and pretty much every other software company – does it all the time! And if “good enough” is good enough for billionaire Bill Gates, it’s good enough for you. Of course, there is a fine balance between releasing something that’s not ready and releasing something that’s valuable but a little rough around the edges. This is where having a handful of beta testers can come in very handy. Send out your product to a group of people for their feedback, and see what they think. Ask them: What’s missing? Can you use this product to create more value in your business or life right now? On a scale of 1 to 10, what would you rate this product? If you could change one thing, what would it be? If you get overwhelmingly positive feedback and your ratings are all in the 6-plus range, you’re good to go. If you’re getting comments like, “I couldn’t understand what you meant,” or, “I’m not sure how to use this,” or, “You need to rewrite Chapter Three,” then you’re not quite there. Take another look at what you have, make the requested changes or suggestions, and try again. Remember, you don’t have to make it across the Atlantic in one piece; you just have to make it around the block. When you see other information marketers making big bucks from an ebook on, say, Twitter traffic generating strategies it is really tempting to jump up and say, “I could write an ebook on Twitter traffic generating strategies, too! And then I could make big bucks too!” It sounds good – but it doesn’t necessarily work that way. In fact, if you create and release a “me too” product that is nothing more than an imitation of a more successful product already on the market, don’t be surprised if the world doesn’t rush to your door. (And, don't be surprised if you tick off the original product creator, too.) “But wait!” you might be saying. “Dunkin’ Donuts opens up across the street from Starbucks, and they both do well!” Yeah, they do. That’s because it’s NOT a “me-too.” Each has its own spin on the product. Dunkin’ is where you go for quick brew and a 99-cent donut. You head across the street to Starbucks if you want a gourmet breakfast sandwich and a wi-fi connection while you prepare for your client meeting. Distinct needs; distinct products. To take the coffee metaphor online… It’s okay to come up with a product that’s similar to a competitor’s, but you need to put your own spin on it, adding value over what your competitor is offering. HERE ARE some ideas that you can use to create a “me-too” product that stands on its own: Make it faster. Check out your competitor’s product. If it promises Thinner Thighs in Thirty Days, offer Thinner Thighs in Two Weeks. Make it easier. Does the original product offer ten steps to increased conversions? Then offer three steps instead. Make it bigger. Competitor sells 100 30-minute recipes? Then you need 200. Make it visual (or auditory, or written). If there’s an ebook on the topic, create the videos and audios, or vice-versa. Not all people learn the same, so cover the parts of the market your competition is missing. Make it cheaper. When Jeff Walker released his six-figure launch e-course, a smart marketer released “The Poor Man’s Launch Course” for a fraction of the cost. Make it more expensive. It may sound counter-intuitive, but it works! Some customers want “the best” and will go for the more expensive option automatically. If you can back your higher price tag with greater value, you will pull people looking for the Rolls Royce solution. There’s really no excuse for creating a copycat product. Put your individual stamp on the product instead, and you’ll find that you can reach the buyers your competitors are missing.
