Sample Content Preview How to Overcome Imposter Syndrome If you have imposter syndrome, you will want to start changing your mindset right away. You can take several different steps to make your thoughts more positive. When you do, you will notice opportunities you never saw before-they were always there, you just never felt as though you could take them. Plus, overcoming imposter syndrome can improve your relationships with your loved ones and friends. Overall, there are many different reasons that you should start working on yourself as soon as today. Here are five different strategies that you can use to overcome imposter syndrome. #1. Stop Thinking Like an Imposter First, you will need to stop thinking like an imposter. While this is one of the more challenging strategies you can try, it is also one of the most effective options for most people. If you feel like you don’t belong at work, then changing your thinking will be very beneficial to you. You will need to learn to recognize when you should feel fraudulent and when you shouldn’t. You can try changing how you view your self-doubt into something entirely different. Instead of taking it as a sign that you don’t belong, realize that this feeling could be completely normal. If you felt like you didn’t fit in as a child, those feelings can follow you into adulthood. Now, you are an adult in an adult workplace- you should not feel like a fraud after you worked so hard to get into your position. Focus on the Positive People tend to feel like imposters when they are perfectionists. If you are throwing so much time into your work and projects, then beating yourself up about it; you will want to take a step back and focus on the positives instead. If you are a perfectionist, that means that you care about making high-quality final results. Your next goal should be to continue striving for quality when it matters, but don’t push yourself on everyday tasks. Then, you want to learn to forgive yourself when mistakes do arise. Remember- you are good enough! You don’t need to focus on your mistakes. Instead, take time to think about the positives. Usually, making a mistake can be a learning experience for many people. Take what new information you can from the situation, then move on. You don’t need to think about the negatives any more after that. #2. Talk About How You Feel This strategy is also very challenging. Many people don’t like discussing their feelings with others. However, it will greatly benefit you in overcoming imposter syndrome. Remember, about 70% of people have felt this way. You are not alone and the odds are that who you choose to talk to about imposter syndrome can easily relate with you. Talking with someone you trust about this mindset can be very freeing. They will likely let you know that your feelings are normal, but not something that you need to hold onto. They will remind you of your natural talents and skills, allowing you to feel better. Talking With a Therapist While chatting with someone close to you about imposter syndrome is always a good idea, a therapist will be able to give you even more insight. Their professional view will allow you to see the syndrome in a completely different light as well. A therapist can help you recognize that your imposter feeling syndrome feelings are irrational. After all, you had to work very hard to achieve success. They will also tell you different ways that you can create new behavior patterns and thoughts to get past the syndrome. #3. Write Down Achievements Sometimes, reminding yourself of all of your achievements will assist you in getting rid of your self-doubt. Start by writing down your earliest achievements, all the way up to your most recent. Only you can measure your own success, so be sure to include everything that you are proud of on that list! You want to make sure you store it somewhere you can view it when you need it the most- your achievement list should be somewhere that is easy to access. You can save it as a file to the computer you use for work, save an image of it to your phone, or even keep a handwritten list in your notebook. When you start feeling like an imposter, pull out your list! As you read through it, think of all the effort you put into making those accomplishments. You should feel proud as you do this. If you continue doing this whenever you feel like a fraud, you should slowly notice the feeling disappearing. After all, you are very talented and successful- you had to work hard to get here, so never feel like you aren’t good enough! Positive thinking goes a long way in helping to relieve imposter syndrome.

7 Simple Ways To Practice Being Present MRR Ebook With Audio

Sample Content Preview Exercise 2: Mindful listening There's a saying that God created us with two ears and one mouth for a reason. We are meant to listen more than we talk! So, do you really listen when having conversations with others? Do you engage in mindful listening where you focus on the person talking, their facial expressions, body language and tone of voice? Most importantly, do you really listen to their words? We often think that we're active listeners when in fact, we're anything but. Our minds wander as we nod absently, our eyes dart around looking at other things and people. Our minds race ahead as we think of what we're going to say in reply. That's not mindful listening. Practice this exercise by listening mindfully to at least one person every day: - Bring your full attention to the person speaking and firmly dismiss any distracting thoughts. - Keep your body still, don't fidget or fiddle with your hands. Look fully into the person's face and make eye contact. - Listen intently to what is being said. Do not interrupt or think ahead for a reply. Just listen. - Be aware of the person's body language and tone of voice. - When it's your turn to speak, pause for a moment and organize your thoughts and words. Give a reply that reflects that you have listened carefully or ask questions that reflect that you have listened intently. - Later, take a moment to recall one important thing that the person said and one important detail, such as the color of their eyes or what they were wearing. As you learn to listen mindfully, your own words will become wiser and more empathetic. Your relationships on every level will improve. People feel appreciated and valued when they are heard, and your attention will be reciprocated. You'll always find willing and attentive listeners in others as well. It also goes without saying that being a mindful listener will make you wildly popular as well! Exercise 3: Mindful senses This exercise is best practiced outdoors when you're walking down the street, sitting in the park or along a nature stroll, for example. It involves engaging all of your senses other than sight. Our fast-paced digital lifestyle has dulled our senses to a great degree. We rarely stop to smell the roses. Practice the following steps to keep your senses sharp, and yourself more present. - Instead of merely looking at things, unfocus your eyes a little and use your sense of sight, touch, and smell to become mindful of your surroundings. - Become aware of different sounds such as distant voices, car horns, dogs barking, and so on. - If you're in nature, identify as many sounds as you can; wind rustling through trees, birds singing, waves crashing on the beach and so on. You'll be surprised at how many individual sounds you can pick up. - Bring your full awareness to these sounds that normally, you would never notice. - Next, engage your sense of smell. Perhaps you can smell cooking; try to identify what it is. It may be the scent of flowers or freshly-mown grass. Inhale deeply and become mindful of these various smells. - Engage your sense of touch by taking off your shoes and feeling the soft grass under your feet, stroking the petals of a flower or a branch. Practice this exercise whenever you are outdoors to keep you more mindful throughout your day. You can practice at the mall or grocery store as well. These places offer a wide variety of sounds, smells and textures to hone your senses.

First up, how do you define an affiliate program, or affiliate system? A system in which an owner or licensee of a product allows people outside of his or her own company to promote for them for a percentage of the commissions. Pretty much everyone online uses this resource to their advantage, because lets face it, it's far easier for 100 people to sell 1000 units of a product than it is to have one person sell a thousand units of a product. I'm sure it's possible, but we don't have all the time in the world, so affiliates are generally the answer, and should make up a large amount of your business' revenue if you're promoting your own products. In case you're kind of underestimating the situation, don't have any affiliate system in place, or haven't decided to fully utilize this type of system within your business, let me put a scene to you to make this all crystal clear. Here‟s the situation; You're a business owner, you've just launched your shiny new site, which just happens to sell the same product as Mr. X here. Both yours and Mr. X‟s product is priced at $500. The difference is you've built yourself up a relatively modest 150 affiliates, and Mr. X is doing all the promotion alone. Now imagine you each make ten sales in the first month through personal promotion. You both make $5000. Great, but when your affiliates come in, it's easy to see how this figure can double. Now of course not all of your affiliates are going to be heavy hitters, great promoters or even make any sales at all, ever. But lets say just 10% of your affiliates, just 15 of them, make a measly three sales each in that same month at 60% commissions, which I'll set higher than average right now for a reason I'll reveal in a moment. Pulling out my handy calculator, I can tell you that through those three sales from a small percentage of your affiliates, you've just made an extra $9000, bringing your total to $14000 for that month. You're laughing, and poor Mr. X. He was one of the many marketers out there that didn't take this type of affiliate marketing seriously, or didn't see any real profit in it. Meanwhile, you've just pocketed in a month what it takes most of my friends in regular jobs to earn in four or five months, often longer. Cool huh? Why Don’t You Set It Up? - I Asked Them. So now you can see how important this is, never ever let anyone tell you it's not worth spending the extra money on the set up of an affiliate program, made even easier nowadays by the plethora of software and solutions available to you as an online business owner. ”So why not set one up? They‟re more than doubling my income”, I used to say to my less experienced contacts in the online business world. Ask yours the same question if you like and see what they say. The reasons they'll give you when you ask why they hold their negative opinion on this subject, more often than not will be that in their experience hardly any of their affiliates promote. Well, they‟re not wrong, it varies from business to business, but many affiliates don't bother to promote, or sign up meaning to and forget, or just don't have their resources built to a point where they have the promotion power to make the sales. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't still grab them at every opportunity, as you can see here from just that small example above, just 10% of affiliates promoting, making a small (very small) amount of sales each can easily double, triple., quadruple your income and sometimes even more. Looking at these figures always gets me excited. Have you ever seen someone making 40-50, 60 or 100 thousand dollars a month and wondered to yourself how the heck they pull that kind of cash out of their products when you're struggling to hit five or ten thousand a month? Well let me tell you, this is a very big part of it. Don't miss out, or you might find yourself just getting by instead of extremely comfortable where income is concerned. The second reason you might be told that having affiliates promote for you is a waste of time and effort on your part, is that they're hard to find. It's another one of those little niggly things, like the list craze going on all around us. In general the more responsive your list, the more cash you're going to make out of them now and in the future. This is exactly the same. Don't ever let anyone tell you that you're making a mistake putting a successful affiliate program high on your list of priorities, even over making direct sales. So What Makes Your Situation Any Different? What we're going to look at now is what to do with your affiliates to try and hit and exceed that ten percent promotion rate. Once again, if you‟re not sure about getting the affiliates in the first place and maintaining them doesn‟t interest you right now, not to worry. The moment you begin to build your list and launch products all of this will become relevant. Continuing with management of affiliates, you might be surprised to find out it's not all that complicated and relates closely to other forms of resource gathering, from lists, to customers, joint ventures and the like.

5 Secrets To Finding Balance MRR Ebook With Audio

Sample Content Preview After you have had a chance to figure out what your priorities are, it is time to take some action steps. It is not enough to just say that you find work as a priority or that you want to spend more time with your family. Talking and thinking are great, but you need to take some actions in order to reach your goals. If you have decided that your priority is work, then you will need to find ways to get ahead in your career. You can learn how to work through some of the different time management options to help you get more done, learn how to say no so you are able to fit in the most important things, and even continue your education to make sure that you are ready for the next promotion. Maybe you have decided that spending more time with your family is a top priority that you would like to work on. You may need to schedule time to get this done. Schedule a weekend away, a night to play some games, or even time having a meal together. This will allow you a way to get more done with your loved ones and get in some of that high-quality time that you want too. The point is that you need to actively work towards your priorities. You can’t just say that they are important. You need to focus more on the actions that you are able to do to reach those priorities as well. With an action plan in place, you will be able to balance out your life and see great results. Focus on One Things At a Time When it is time to balance out your life, many people get excited and they want to jump right in and have a chance to do it all. This is an admirable quality to work with for most people, but they will overwhelm themselves and feel like a failure when things do not come into balance right away. This is because you are taking on too much at once, which can make it difficult to really focus and master the one thing that is the most important. Stop trying to do it all. That is part of what caused this problem in the first place. You need to prioritize what is the most important and figure out what you would like to focus on, one thing at a time. It may seem like you are making slow progress when you do just one thing at a time, but it will make a difference and will get you faster compared to going to all of the stuff at once. When you can focus on the thing that is most important at the time, rather than everything else, you will see that big improvements are possible in a short amount of time. Make a goal for each day and each week. This will help you to figure out what is the most important thing for you to see success. Pick the main priority that you had from above and make that the thing that you will do. As long as you see some progress each day, even if it is just a little bit of progress and no one else seemed to notice, keep moving forward and you will see results. When you wake up in the morning, consider what you are going to do to make it better. Will that be the day that you focus on your family and spend time with them? Do you really need to get work done that day, so you will focus on getting that done so you feel better overall too. You will need to look at what the plan is for the day, and then focus on making that specific day the best that you possibly can. It is too hard for you to focus on everything at once. You can try, but you will not be as efficient if you try to do this compared to just focusing on one thing at a time. Multitasking is going to really slow you down. It will stress you out and makes it hard to focus on what needs to get done. Figure out what you would like to work with at a time and make that the priority. Use a Planner Another thing that you can work with is a planner. This may make you feel like you have gone back to high school, but it is one of the best ways to keep things as organized as possible. It will ensure that you are not going to forget about something important and it gives you a great way to look, at a glance, at how busy your schedule is at the time. When you are able to see all of your obligations laid out in front of you, it is easier to figure out if you are busy or if you have time for something new.

You have to get rid of them and there are best ways on how you can get rid of your unwanted possessions. One of these is to give them as donations and another one is to sell them. Those things that can be used by somebody else are the ones you have to sell or donate. In organizing your possessions, you have to find a good place where you can store them. Arrange and group them; by doing this, you will find those stuffs which are not important to you anymore. Check them and see to it that they are still in good condition if you plan to donate or sell them. Also, you might become unorganized if there are interruptions in your everyday schedule. To avoid this, you should create a schedule for all tasks you have to accomplish. Also, try to focus your attention to a specific task first before you proceed to the other. If something stops you from doing it then thinking of a way on how you can finish your obligation although interruptions came in should be done. All of these aspects require your time and attention. Failure to check them one by one will stop you from meeting success in your attempt to become more organized for the coming year. Chapter 3: Effect of Organization on Your Lives Synopsis Every person desires to practice a well-organized routine throughout his or her life. It is primarily because he or she knows the possible benefits that he or she can get from doing it. You know where you should go in getting something you need and wasting time in searching for tiny things that have been misplaced will be reduced. When you are an organized person, you would see your relatives and loved ones more often without rushing off again as you failed to perform a particular task. Lack of organization could leave you anxious and stressed from time to time. It will make you feel uncomfortable when someone decides to go to your home unexpectedly. You will surely feel this kind of emotion most especially if all of the parts of your home are messy. This will make you unhappy and embarrassed as your visitor sees the condition of your home.

Now, provided that you are willing to jump in to your freelancing business with both feet, you need to start off on the freelance path slowly before you can really start raking in the cash. Don’t quit your job just yet! Instead, you need to begin your hunt for freelance work in your area of expertise on the internet and see what you can come up with. Some skills, such as the ability to write coherently or do software design for clients of all types, are highly marketable and you should really have no difficulty whatsoever finding a goldmine of work. On the other hand, if you are only able to do tasks that are not as easily marketable on a freelance basis, you will have much more difficulty finding work for your freelance operation. Currently some of the most popular fields for freelancing include writing, editing, photography, web and graphic design, software design, and architecture or drafting. Once you have settled on a field that you want to freelance in, you will need to start finding your first clients. Whatever you do, do not start your hunt with any of the clients that you may have dealt with in your current job. There are all kinds of laws against this practice and it may get you into serious trouble if you are caught. Instead, turn to your favorite search engine and search for some forums and databases specifically designed for freelancers seeking work in a particular field. There are tons of different places for you to visit, so within an hour or so you will probably have at least ten or fifteen bookmarks of places online where you can find employment as a freelancer. When you find you have some free time, all you have to do is search around on each one of these bookmarked websites to find the freelance positions that sound good to you. When you start out as a freelancer, you will probably have to take a few jobs that do not pay very well at all. That’s fine because these jobs help you build your skill set. They will help you learn how to more effectively manage your time, speed up your workflow, and even help you get more used to using a computer and the internet to search for answers to any questions that may pop up while you are doing work for your client. The low paying jobs will probably last for awhile, as until you have assembled a massive list of satisfied clients you will have to primarily compete with all of the other freelancers in your field entirely on how low your rates and fees are. Eventually though you will graduate into higher and higher paying jobs until you will find that you have practically doubled your current income with income from freelancing. At this point you should feel confident enough to possibly start thinking about reducing the number of hours you work at your current job to part time status or even quit your job all together and make your fortunes solely through freelancing in your selected field. Guide to Successful Online Freelancing Cool Benefits & Drawbacks After a long day at the office, you decide to stop by your local Barnes & Noble bookstore to pick up a copy of your favorite magazine. When you open it up to a story that you find fascinating, you look at the author’s name and see that in his biography it says that he is a professional freelance writer. Looking at the selected photographs, drawings and diagrams quickly makes you realize that all of the artwork for the story was also done by freelance photographers and graphic designers.

Remember that the process requires dedication of time, listening, and intimacy with life. When you commit to the process, you give yourself a better chance of getting to the end result. You Might Not Always Feel Like It Remember that you won’t always feel like committing to the process. There will be some days where you wake up and feel like you don’t want to take any action or move forward. If you always follow your feelings, you will never succeed. You have to keep committing and moving forward even during the days and weeks where you feel like you’re over the process. It’s okay to feel different from day to day, but you need to ensure you try to move past those feelings and work on your potential every day. Don’t be too hard on yourself though. Not completing all the tasks you have laid out for a day is not the end of the world. Just make sure you create more space and more time during the rest of the week to get these things done. Just Go with It Just going with it is much easier said than done. If you stumble around pitfalls or there are unexpected things that pop up, just keep the process going. You will need to make a habit of just going with it before it really becomes an easy part of the process. Just going with it needs to become a habit just like brushing your teeth or going to work in the morning. Once you put in the effort to keep going with it, you will unlock more and more of your potential every day. Include Other People Some people find it necessary to include others in their process. If you don’t have a good support system or people that you trust to be a part of your process, then you might find it better to keep this to yourself. However, if you have someone in your life that could help you, you should definitely include them in this process. You might find that they have good advice for you that you wouldn’t have been able to discover by yourself. Make sure you listen to positive opinions and surround yourself with those who have light in them. Telling other people about your process and goals will ensure you have some accountability. If you are doing someone on your own, it’s easy to simply give it up. No one will know you even started so it will be easy to simply change your plan or track. If you tell other people though, you will be held accountable. If you are struggling or need help, they can also encourage you on the days you feel down. Define Your Own Potential Before you maximize your potential, you need to define it. If you don’t define it, you won’t be able to get the most out of it. If you don’t know your true purpose, you won’t be able to find the potential you need to make the most out of every situation. Keep in mind that potential is the capacity to transform your life into your top aspirations and unique goals. This means self-reflecting on your strengths and weaknesses. You need to know what you’re good at it and then be willing to improve on the things you need to improve on. Before going where you want to go, you need to make sure you know who you are. This will help you make a plan of action better.

Your mind is your most powerful tool and your biggest challenger when it comes to productivity. Your mind is the thing that tells you to wait until tomorrow or to watch one more episode instead of starting your work. Your mind is also capable of incredible power to push you in the right direction. By entering the right mindset you can set yourself up for success and increase your productivity! Mindset is crucial to beginning to change your work habits and strengthen good work routines as well as kicking unhelpful and unproductive habits and routines to the curb! But how can you change your mindset? If you are looking for a long-term change, you can change your mindset by creating new neural pathways in your brain related to your workday and productivity by practicing a variety of mindfulness and mental exercises. Short term, there are a variety of techniques you can use at the moment to help your mindset enter a positive and productive state. Changing your mindset at the moment is a challenge for some people. However, it is not something to be afraid of! Just as previously stated, your mind is your best tool. You have ownership of your mind. It is yours and therefore you can create any change you want! To help create a more positive and productive mindset quickly, try meditation. Mediation may seem like a long-term solution, but taking a moment to reduce your stress through meditation is extraordinarily helpful. Meditation is known to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, help return the body to homeostasis, and even lower the level of the stress hormone cortisol in your body. This happens all through the breath. Deep and full breathing is a core aspect of mediation and can help oxygenate the blood. When we get stressed at work, we tense our shoulders, back, or stomach. We begin to take shallower and shorter breaths. Taking long and slow deep breaths can help increase your blood oxygen levels and increase blood flow to your brain to help sharpen your focus. Mediation can also be practiced daily to see even stronger long-term results of relaxation and increased focus while working. Another long-term or short-term practice you can incorporate into your mindset training is yoga! Yoga is not only for flexible people, it is for everyone. A yoga practice can help you to increase blood flow around your body to help increase focus and productivity at work. It is also great to get your body moving if you feel unproductive! Yoga can help relieve tension in your muscles which makes you feel better! Yoga is also highly meditative because there is a huge focus on the breath. Yoga is a positive form of movement that can help turn your mindset into a more positive place. Another way to change your mindset is to change the way you think about work and productivity. If you tell yourself, “I have to do this project and I don’t want to,” you are going to be unhappy while doing it and avoid starting! You will drag it out because you do not feel like it and you will make your mindset worse. Try speaking and thinking about your tasks in a more positive way! Try “I get to do this task and show off my skills!” Changing the way you think about something will change your mindset over time. You can also change your workspace to be helpful towards your productivity. For example, if you tend to get distracted when you go get a glass of water, then put a glass or pitcher of water in your workspace. Optimizing your workspace for our needs is a way of increasing your positivity in your mindset and helping you to get over the productivity block! Your mindset can and will fluctuate throughout the day, starting clear and typically positive in the morning and tapering into a more negative outlook by early afternoon. Our mindsets can change as easily as the weather, and often change along with our emotions. Mastering how you emotionally relate to your workspace and environment is an integral part of mastering your mindset! Learn to identify when and why your mood begins to shift throughout the day. Midday burnout? Hungry around 3 but dinner is still hours away? Feeling stiff or cramped at a desk? Identify what brings your mood down and find a solution! For example, maybe for burnout, keep track of all the things you have done so far! Seeing all you have accomplished that day can give your motivation a boost, which can boost your productivity! If you get hungry (or rather, hangry,) after lunch and before dinner, try eating a lunch that is more filling with more protein! Or keep a snack in your workspace. If you get stiff at a desk or workspace, get up! Stretch and walk around for a moment. Self-awareness and identifying what brings down your productivity is one of the best tools you can have when you begin this journey!

Allowing ourselves to display these distinct features makes us happy. However, suppressing our distinctive features and denying our natural selves makes us feel bad and darkens our identities. Resistance to our distinctive features, however strange, results in a dark and inverted projection of self, much as a black hole emerges from the absence of a star. Many individuals who conform do so because they are afraid of being alone. Standing out, on the other hand, will not make you lonely - far from it. By living honestly, you will meet others who share your oddness. This is your clan. When you step up and live your mission, you will discover those who have gone before you, and you will be an inspiration to those who will come after you. On the surface, new notions, such as biological mutations, seem to be out of place. However, biological mutations, like new ideas, evolve through time and serve unexpected purposes. The mutation is eventually reproduced and contributes to the evolution of the species. Ideas are the evolutionary force that propels civilization forward. What is strange now may not be understood tomorrow, but it may become the new normal. Others will perceive you as competent if you consider yourself as capable. Others will perceive you as incapable if you see yourself as unable. Self-perception has a lot of clout. It might be unsettling at first to stop fitting in and start sticking out. However, if you accept responsibility for your activities and disregard your fear of criticism, the world will conform to your vision of yourself to the extent of your conviction. Embrace YOU If you just remember one thing from this book, make it this: being a quirky oddball is a hidden benefit. People fall in love with your eccentricities rather than your sameness, and they frequently don't recognize it. Your eccentricity serves as a differentiation. It's what piques people's interest and makes them want to learn more about you. Your oddness is what jolts folks out of their smartphone-induced stupor and causes them to consider asking a question. When there are a hundred job applications in front of you, your oddness will help you stand out. Strangeness helps you create connection with someone who has done great things and is tired of people asking for pictures with them instead of having a talk about weirdness that they will remember for the rest of their lives. Strangeness draws together two persons who seem to have nothing in common. It's the "who the hell is that dude?" query that alters your life and reveals numerous previously unattainable options. When you embrace it and begin to believe in your abilities, things start to become strange. When people are motivated by your cause, you have achieved your goal. That's when you discover those individuals, that audience, who embrace you for who you really are, not because you're odd or unusual. You open the door to the possibility of shared humanity and enable others to see their own struggles mirrored in yours. Finally, you hear that lovely refrain: "Oh, you're strange? "I assumed I was the only one!" This is how companies are founded. This is how relationships develop. This is how you discover the right folks. Things that made you strange as a child now make you brilliant. Accepting one's strangeness is a difficult personal decision, but it is, quite honestly, fascinating and fulfilling. We do it not for the sake of gain or achievement, but for our own freedom and to pave the road for others. Being different is being powerful. Once you accept who you are, you will find that there are so many things to celebrate about you and so many ways it makes you more capable and impressive. You can be a better worker, a better friend, a better lover and person if you accept the quirky, different parts of you that others might consider ―weird.
