Ready to become an email marketing expert? Then let’s do this! Every email marketing campaign starts with a great email, and the secret of a great email is in the design. In this first lesson we are going to show you how to create a perfect email template for your campaigns that is guaranteed to drive results in 2019 and beyond! Now, before we get started, we’d like to mention that we’ll be using “MailChimp” to manage all the email marketing that we’ll do in this training, from creating the template using its built-in page editor, to creating the campaigns. We’ve chosen MailChimp because it is an all-in-one, user friendly, and affordable email marketing solution that allows you to get started for free until you reach 2,000 contacts, or until you need to create more than one audience. Then you’ll have to upgrade your plan. The good news is that these all-in-one platforms are very similar, so you can apply these same steps no matter what platform you choose. Getting Started Ok, ready? Let’s get started then. To create an email template on MailChimp, start on the dashboard and click on the “templates” tab. On the next page, click on the “create template” button. Now you can start creating your template. The first step is to select a starting point. Here you have three options: layouts, themes, and “code your own”. In “layouts” you can select a layout that you’ll use as the design guide. There are “featured” layouts with placeholders that you have to replace, and blank layouts that you have to modify from scratch. In “themes” you can select a preset that is pre-built around a category. Use the themes drop-down menu to filter these templates to a category of your choice. Here you’ll find templates for some of the most popular businesses, including ecommerce, holiday, newsletters, and subscriber alerts. Lastly, in “code your own” you can select to “paste in code” if you want to create a template from custom code, “import HTML” to create a template by uploading an HTML file with your custom code, or “import zip” to create a template by uploading a zip file with your custom code. In this example, we are going to select a preset from the “themes” section. One thing you’ll notice is that we are not going to pick a preset based on a category, but based on the elements that a high-converting email template has. These elements are a minimalist layout with at least half a page of white space, a simple logo placement, a headline placeholder, a placeholder block for copy, and a placeholder CTA button. As you can see here, one of the “featured” presets has all the necessary elements that we’re looking for, we would only have to remove filler elements, and to customize the rest. To select a preset, simply click on it. Customizing The Template Once you select a layout or preset, it will load as a template in the template editor. All you have to do now is to customize it. Let’s start by removing the elements that we will not use. Next, we’ll change the color of the header to white. Now we’ll change the color in all headings on the page to the color that best reflects our brand. Now we’ll change the color of the footer to a slightly darker version of the color of the headings. Now we’ll replace the image in the header with the logo of our business. To do this, we have to change the color of the header interior to match the white background first by clicking on the “design” tab on the design menu. Next we have to click on the “header” option. Now we have to locate the “header interior” style and change the background color to white. Now we’ll click on “save” to add the logo image. To add this image, we’ll click on the “edit” button in the content block that is inside the header interior. Now we’ll click on “replace”, and on the following page, we will click on the “upload” button to upload the image from our computer. After the image uploads to the file library, we are going to select it, and then we’ll click on “insert”. You can further customize this image logo by clicking on the “style” tab while you have the content block selected. In this example, we are going to round the corners of our image to give it a cleaner, softer look. Lastly, we are going to replace the placeholder text in the footer with the information of our business, including our company name and address. It is vital that you always add this information to all your templates! You can click on the “preview and test” menu button to preview the template outside the editor, and also to send it to a dummy email address to see how it actually looks in the inbox by clicking on “send a test email” option. Then you can click on “save and exit” when you are done. Enter a name for your new template into the “name your template” field and click on “save”. And that’s it! You can now use this template in basically all your campaigns, all you have to do is replace the placeholder information according to the content of your next email! Chapter 3: Creating An Email Marketing Campaign Hey there friends! Now that we have created an email marketing template with all the necessary ingredients to drive results, it is time that we create the first campaign where we’ll use this template. Again, we’ll be using MailChimp to create this campaign, but you can apply the same steps on any other email marketing app, you’ll just have to know your way around the dashboard. Creating The Campaign To create a campaign from scratch on MailChimp, you have to go to your dashboard and click on the “create campaign” button to open the campaign creation menu. Next, click on the “email” option. There are several types of campaigns that you can create. If you stay in the “regular” tab, you’ll be able to set up a regular campaign to broadcast news, to promote products, or to send emails to your new subscribers.

Upload a photo or image that makes you stand out Don’t underestimate the importance of picking the right picture or image for your profile (and please, please, please don’t send a tweet until you have uploaded one). For businesses, the perfect profile image will be one that your customers already know and associate with your business—like your company logo. For individuals, you’ll want to use a close-up headshot and make sure you are the only person in the photo. 4. Introduce yourself by sending your first tweet Now is the perfect time to send your first tweet. It’s not going to be anything earthshattering, and you won’t have any followers (yet) to see it, but it will let people know you are a real person or business and not a robot or spammer. Make the tweet something simple; your introduction to the Twitter world. 5. Find the right people to follow Who you follow on Twitter will dictate the type of content you have access to and the quality of the relationships you’re able to establish? For this reason, you’ll want to set up some criteria, based on your experience, your industry, and what you’re trying to accomplish. People you want to follow could include friends, professionals in your industry, other local businesses, colleagues, and even current or potential customers. When you’re starting out, the key is to follow businesses, like yours that are doing it well— don’t mimic everything they tweet but pay attention to how they are engaging and the type of content they share. Keep your eye on Twitter’s “Who to Follow” feature (in the left column) for recommendations for people and businesses that fit your interests. 6. Tell your network you’re on Twitter Before we go any further, need to tell you something you need to know to grow your following on Twitter is not easy—especially if you’re starting from scratch. However, lucky for you, your business already has a following and many of those people that shop at your business. If someone has already joined your email list, they most likely would love to connect with you on Twitter too. Send out an email to your contact list, inviting people to follow you on Twitter. 7. Get the tools you need Like anything else, if you want to be successful on Twitter you want to make sure you have the right tools. There are several tools out there including three you’ll want to have access to from day one. - Monitor your profile on the go with the Twitter mobile app - Schedule tweets and track your reach with any tool 8. Create your first Twitter List Twitter Lists are a cool feature provided by Twitter to let users organize the people they follow into specific groups based on industry, relationship, expertise, etc. When you’re first starting out, lists won’t need to be a top priority because you’ll still be growing your community but creating at least one List to let yourself get accustomed to using them. It’s much easier to keep your contacts organized from the beginning than to try to organize them when you really need them. 9. Save some searches Similar to Lists, Saved Searches let users organize their content, but do it based on a specific topic rather than on specific users. Saved searches work exactly as they sound. You find a topic of interest or relevance to your business, search for it in Twitter’s “Discover” tab, and then save it for future reference. After saving it, you can easily go back and see results as they appear in real-time. Some ideas for searches to save include your business name, your name, the city/town that you’re in, industry-related topics, popular hashtags, etc. 10. Connect your touchpoints A study found that 80.5% of small business websites do not link to social media networks. Please do not make this mistake. Connecting your website to your Twitter profile will help drive traffic and organically build your social following. You’ll also want to make sure you’re inserting a link into your email newsletter with a strong call-to-action. 11. Don’t forget to have a plan! Just being on Twitter won’t be enough to accomplish those goals—even if you follow these 10 steps to getting started. What will allow you to achieve those goals is having a social strategy about the way you plan to engage on Twitter, the type of content you want to share, and the milestones you hope to achieve. Your strategy probably will change once you get started, but without having one before you launch your first tweet, you won’t make it much further than these first 10 steps. Twitter is a dynamic social networking tool where you can search for any topic and access the information related to it be it pop culture, local or global news or any brands you use. Various businessmen and big companies are using it to continuously update their business to stay in trend. Many businesses like HubSpot are making use of twitter to engage users, to Advertise their brand, increase followers and more. Content can be easily distributed with the help of the twitter platform. In this chapter, you will learn various tricks that can be used to improve your twitter marketing efforts.

We’re as eager as you are to start off this awesome journey, so let’s kickstart this training with lesson one. Before you even consider launching a cost-effective online ad campaign to generate instant low-cost traffic, it is important that you know the audience that you want to target. And part of knowing that audience is knowing what keywords they are using to find content in your industry or niche. So in this lesson we are going to show you the smartest and quickest way to find these keywords, using tools that you already have. Getting Started You have to start your keyword research with the Google Keyword Planner. The Keyword Planner is an online tool that allows you to find keywords and search terms based on a single niche keyword. With this tool, you’ll be able to find the lowest-cost keywords that generate instant traffic. To access the keyword planner, go to the https://ads.google.com/intl/en/home/tools/keyword-planner/ URL in your browser while logged in to your Google account. Once on the Keyword Planner page, click on the “sign in” button. Finding Your 2Cents Keywords Next, click on “discover new keywords”. There are two ways to discover new keywords on this page. If you select to “start with keywords”, you have to enter a keyword or search term into the text field. If you select “start with a website”, you’ll have to enter a website or page into the “domain or page” field. This can be a great method if you already have a content-optimized blog that the tool can use to scan for keywords. For this example, we are going to click on the “start with keywords” tab to use a niche keyword to find our “2Cents” keywords. When selecting this method, enter your base keyword into the keyword field. To get the lowest-cost keyword recommendations, we recommend that you enter a search term instead of a plain keyword. That way you’ll find long-tail keywords that are associated with your content in search queries. Here you can add more than one keyword or search term. Additionally, you can enter your website’s URL address or a competitors website URL address into the URL field below to use that website as a filter for those keywords. You can do this if you want to get very narrow keyword recommendations, but getting broader recommendations can help you find cheaper keywords. Now that you’ve entered your keyword search criteria, click on the “get results” button. Let’s now look at the results under the “keyword ideas” column. Here’s how you will identify “2Cents” keywords, or keywords that’ll help you generate relevant traffic instantly, at the lowest cost possible. First, look under the “average monthly searches” column. Identify keywords that get between “1K to 10K” and “10K to 100K” searches a month. This is the type of traffic that you need to generate! Alright, next, look at these same keywords under the “competition” column and identify which ones have “low” competition. These are the keywords that are not being targeted as much by advertisers, so their bids are low cost. Lastly, look under the “top of the page bid (low range)” and find out which of the high traffic, low competition keywords you already identified attract “top of the page bids” that are under $0.80. This is the lowest cost you’ll pay for instant traffic that drives action! Saving Your 2Cents Keywords Now it is time to save these keywords into a Spreadsheet document. This is the smartest way to have them handy whenever you need to set up a campaign. Get an “Excel” document or another type of “XML” document ready. Name it “2Cents Instant Traffic Keywords”, and add a “keyword” column”, a “monthly searches” column, and a “top of the page bid” column to this document. Now add, one by one, the keywords that you identified in the previous step. First by adding the keyword into the “keyword” column, then by adding its average monthly searches to the “monthly searches” column, and then by adding its respective “top of the page bid” to the “top of the page” column. You can now use this document to know which keywords you can target on a campaign, and how much you’ll spend according to the objective you set. You can also use these keywords to find out which websites and other online places your audience visits, by doing a quick Google search. And this is it for now my friends! Next up we’ll be showing you how to set up search campaigns on top advertising platforms, at the lowest cost possible, the right way. See you in the next lesson! Chapter 3: Generating Instant 2Cents Traffic With A Reach Campaign On Facebook Hey there everyone! Facebook is, as of now, the most popular and cost-effective advertising platform on the internet. With millions of active users and hyper-targeting features, it lets you generate tons of instant traffic at a very, very low cost. In this lesson, we are going to show you how to set up an ad campaign that reaches thousands of people and that will help you send lots of instant traffic to all your sites and pages, at the lowest cost possible, step by step. Creating A Reach Campaign You can create Facebook ad campaigns through the ads manager. To access the ads manager, go to the https://www.facebook.com/adsmanager/creation URL in your browser while logged in to your Facebook account. That URL will take you directly to the campaign creation page. Once there, click on “reach” under the “marketing objective” column. This objective will allow you to show your ad to as many users as possible, for a low cost. Select this objective and then enter the name of your new ad campaign into the “campaign name” field. Next, click on the “set up add account” button. On the following page, enter your “account country”, your “currency”, and your “time zone”. Then click on “continue” to move to the next step. Setting Up The Campaign’s Ad Set Next up you have to set up your ad set for this campaign. Start by entering the name of your new ad set into the “ad set name” field. Now click on the “Facebook page” menu to select the page you want to promote in your ad. Let’s now go to the “audience” section. Here you will have to set up the audience that you are going to target. It is key that you target the correct audience to get the most traffic out of your total ad spend. First, click on the “edit” button in “locations” to select your target locations. Here you can type the name of your target location in the text field above the map and click on it to select it. You can select more than one target location.

These are a scarcity mindset and an abundance mindset. The scarcity mindset is more about focusing on what we don’t have and our limits. Meanwhile, an abundance mindset is about creating opportunities and believing that there are enough resources for everyone to benefit. A person with a scarcity mindset will be absorbed with what is missing in one’s life. In that situation, the mind becomes busy worrying and stops us from accessing what we want from life. A scarcity mindset will focus on limitation and manifest obstacles which can seriously limit our success. When you limit yourself with your beliefs and actions, you are not open to receive or recognize the abundance that surrounds you. For a scarcity mind, there is never enough. The person wakes up in the morning thinking they didn’t have enough sleep or won’t have enough time to accomplish all the things that can be accomplished that day. No matter what it is, the scarcity mind is set on acknowledging what is not available. Think of your life. Which area do find yourself focusing on what you don’t have? What limits do you place on yourself? Which area of your life (love, relationships, finances, work, etc.) do you apply a scarcity mindset? The other side of the medal is the abundance mindset. With that mindset, we realize that there is enough in this world for everyone to receive. You let go of negative feelings like jealousy, envy or pity for yourself and take matters in your own hands. You move from being a victim in your life to a leader. In addition, you don’t focus on the limitation but you recognize the good things that are already present in your life and set your intention to manifest more of what you want. With an abundance mindset, the person gets up thinking that they will make time to rest in the afternoon and then make a list of what can be accomplished in the day. It’s about what is possible or about what is available in the present moment. Think of what you currently have in your life. Make a list of the things, situation or people that make your life rich. What are you grateful for in your life? What do you appreciate about yourself? Now that you know a little bit more about the two mindsets, you can start applying behavior change and thinking style that match what you want. The more you will be aware of your mindset, the easier it will be to shift toward an abundance mindset. In the next chapter, you will learn about the benefits of making that shift and what you can expect by bringing more of an abundance mindset into your life. Chapter 3: Why Change Your Mindset? As you’ve seen in the previous chapter, a mindset is what will likely determine how you experience your life and if you enjoy it or not. The benefits of having an abundance mindset are endless. Individuals with an abundance mindset are, in general, more successful and feel less stress in their daily life. Here are a few other benefits: Appreciate your life: Individuals who have an abundance mindset will appreciate more what they have and also the people in their life. Access more opportunities: With an abundant mindset, more opportunities are revealed because you actually look for them. Decrease your daily stress: Because people with an abundance mindset are less likely to have expectations that cannot be met, this allows them to live a life that has less stress and disappointment. Reduce your anxiety: When you strongly believe that there are enough resources for everyone, you automatically trust that you can access what you need when you need it. Instead of finding yourself worrying about what you don’t have, you are able to reduce your anxiety by knowing that you can manifest what you want when you need it. Take control of your life: When you live with a scarcity mindset, you are often living as a victim. Like life happens to you as opposed to you making life happen. An abundance mindset will place you in the driver’s seat and will give you more control over your life and a greater ability to create what you want to experience. Foster happier and fulfilling relationships: We tend to attract people that think like us. If you are stuck in a scarcity mindset, you will have the tendency to attract people that limit themselves. Alternatively, if you cultivate an abundance mindset, you will start manifesting relationships that are uplifting, supportive and most of all that brings more abundance in your life. Improve your health: People who demonstrate an abundance mindset are more grateful which is tied to better physical and psychological health. They are less likely to experience depression, anxiety, stress and other chronic diseases that are often connected to one’s lifestyle. In the next chapter, we will go deeper into the facts that surround an abundance mindset. We will look at what the scientific world has discovered about abundance and scarcity mindsets. Chapter 4: The Research on Living an Abundant Life In this chapter, we will explore the research that was completed on mindsets. These researches have brought forward some very interesting conclusion that will likely make you want to shift your perception of your life. The research on scarcity and abundance reveals results that we could not foresee, like a reduced intelligence quotient (IQ) or how we limit ourselves with a scarcity mindset. These results provide us with more knowledge about the difference between mindsets and also encourage us to make positive changes in how we perceive the world around us. As William James, American psychologist and philosopher, once said: “The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter his life by altering his attitudes of mind.” Mindsets and Intelligence Changing our mindset can have a big impact on our life. One of the most interesting findings comes from research done at Harvard University. The study looked at the Intelligence Quotient (IQ) of individuals when they had a scarcity mindset versus when they had an abundance mindset. The results revealed that the difference between having a scarcity mindset and an abundance mindset can be as much as 10 to 14 IQ points.

You want your channel to appeal to a specific audience so that you’re able to connect with your core market. You also want visitors to immediately understand what you have to offer and that your content appeals to their interests. This is how you connect to your audience and quickly build a large following on YouTube. All of your content should be unique, highly targeted and relevant to the products and services you are offering. This requires careful content planning. You’ve probably already decided on a general focus for your channel, but now it’s time to dig a bit deeper and create a content plan that will help you stay on track while ensuring that your channel is focused on what your audience wants most. The key to YouTube is being consistent in terms of the type of content you offer as well as uploading fresh, unique content on a regular basis. Creating a content plan helps you stick to that overall theme. Tip #2: Create an Attention-Grabbing Description Believe it or not, a lot of new YouTube channels often overlook the importance of a highly-optimized channel description. This is the first thing that people often see and if someone is interested in subscribing to your channel, chances are, they’re going to read your description to determine whether it’s something worthy and relevant to what they are most interested in. Therefore, creating a well-written, keyword optimized, informative channel description is imperative to the success of your YouTube channel. Potential subscribers will find this when they click on your “About” tab. To begin creating your channel description, click the "Edit" button within your admin panel, and then fill out the “About” section. Use this opportunity to inform viewers about the type of content you offer. Include links to your website or landing page so you can convert that viewer into a mailing list subscriber as well as a channel one! You’ll want to include 1-2 primary keywords that clearly describe your content. Use them in both video descriptions and titles as well. It’s been proven that YouTube places a great deal of importance on the content found on your About Page so you want to make sure you use this space wisely. There are also places to link your other social media accounts for your business, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, so be sure to fill them out if they’re applicable, as this is a great opportunity to gain followers on other social media platforms and create a flow of traffic to all your accounts. If your channel will offer a weekly podcast, then be sure to include the link and content schedule in your "About" section along with a relevant hashtag for your podcast. Use YouTube as a spring board to generate and control traffic flow to other avenues of your business. It’s one of the easiest ways to position yourself in your market and build a loyal following. Once you’ve created a handful of videos, you can also create a playlist that is linked and featured in your About section. This is great for the times where you are offering longer videos on external channels like Twitch. You can upload a portion of the full video to YouTube and then funnel traffic to the full video on another site where perhaps you’re able to monetize. At the end of your about section, you’ll want to include something to encourage viewers to interact with your videos – essentially, a call to action. Videos with a high level of interaction tell potential subscribers that what you produce is good, binge-worthy content, and keeps people engaged instead of clicking on something else and moving on. For example, say something along the lines of something you’ve likely seen a hundred times on other channels: “If you enjoy watching our videos, then please comment, hit that like button, subscribe to our channel, and share!” Tip #3: Optimize Everything A critical part of having a successful YouTube channel is Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This is what puts your videos on the Google map, as well as other search engines and social media sites, where people searching the internet can find it. Be sure to familiarize yourself with Google’s Keyword Planner, which is found at: https://ads.google.com/home/tools/keyword-planner/ You can also use Google Trends here: https://trends.google.com Begin by evaluating different keyword phrases to determine what people are actively searching for, but also what keywords are relevant to your market. Chances are you’ll uncover a ton of high-traffic keywords you haven’t even considered. Use a few of these keywords throughout your entire channel, not just your description but also in your video descriptions and title tags. Keywords are what people search for when looking for specific content, so the more often you are incorporating them into your channel’s content, the higher number of social signals will be out there, driving traffic in. Also keep in mind that repetition matters. Don’t keyword stuff (this is where you use keywords in ways that don’t make sense to your audience or detract from a viewer’s experience). At the same time don’t be afraid to use the same keywords multiple times throughout different areas of your channel. 2-3 times is best practice. Any more than that can get your account flagged.

For those of us who spend a good amount of our time sitting behind a desk, getting in some exercise isn’t always something we make time for – but it’s an important component in resetting your mind and body, which will ultimately help you to minimize stress levels. When you think of committing to a regular exercise routine, you might feel overwhelmed. After all, most of us live extremely busy lives and it’s not always easy to find that extra time to squeeze in a work out. But in truth, all it takes is 15 to 30-minutes a day, most days of the week, to see an increase in your overall mood and stress levels. Plus, there are simple ways to incorporate exercise into your existing lifestyle, such as purchasing a work desk that allows for adjustable height so that you can spend a few minutes every hour standing while working. Every time we exercise, our bodies naturally release endorphins. These endorphins are hormones that travel throughout our body, giving us a boost of energy, and actively ridding the body of stress and anxiety. To get an idea of just how much exercise can improve your mood by releasing these powerful endorphins, take 10 minutes and either walk or jog lightly in place. Incorporating exercise into your life will also help with your stress levels if you’re overweight, or suffering from other types of health problems. It’s a win-win! Exercise contributes to a healthier lifestyle, thereby fighting obesity and helping your body perform at the top of its game. If you’re concerned about your weight, start by walking 20-minutes a day, and if necessary, break it up into 10 or even 5-minute sessions. You’ll be surprised at how much stress you’ll relieve just with some basic exercise, and you may also lose some weight! In addition to these benefits, exercise can also give you some much-needed alone time so that you can reset your mind and spirit. Whether you’re a parent with a full-time job outside of the home, a college student who is constantly surrounded by roommates, or you simply live a hectic, pressure-ridden lifestyle, everyone needs some time by themselves. Throw on some headphones and listen to your favorite podcast, or leave them at home and just workout in peace. You’ll be amazed at how quickly your stress will subside just by giving yourself the opportunity to recharge. Between releasing endorphins and getting away from it all, plus making a healthy lifestyle change, you’ll find that exercise is a natural stress relief that everyone can benefit from. Give it a try! Tip #2: Limit Incoming Noise Access to the Internet has brought a lot into our world: convenience, social networking, the ability to work from just about anywhere. But with it comes an extraordinary amount of stress. Just think about the last time you sat down to watch your favorite television show. You were probably distracted by your mobile device, which means that you most likely didn’t absorb everything that you watched. And it’s not your fault. We’ve become almost numb to the sound of notifications going off on our phones and tablets, incoming emails, alerts and a myriad of other online signals that pull our attention in a hundred different directions. If you work online, the constant incoming noise can leave you overwhelmed and stressed. You feel pressured to respond to customers quickly, or perhaps you’re trying to manage several different businesses at once and find yourself constantly having to refocus your attention because you have so many things happening at once. It’s important to learn to cut out the noise, disconnect and recharge your mental and emotional batteries. Not only will this help you manage stress levels by giving yourself a mental “time out”, but ultimately, the downtime will boost creativity levels and help you run your business more efficiently! The most important time to disconnect from the internet, however, is shortly before we go to bed. Staring at a screen and scrolling has been linked to insomnia-related issues (which lead to high stress levels). For a good night’s sleep, turn off all mobile devices about an hour before your bedtime. Try reading a magazine or physical book, or watch some light TV. Do some type of activity that isn’t too engaging but still somewhat stimulating so that your mind is able to stay focused while still being able to wind down and relax. If you’re concerned about someone not being able to get a hold of you in case of an emergency, then turn off your notifications in the settings section of your phone and tell people to only call you for emergencies beyond a certain time. It’s important to focus on your own personal down-time every day, even if it’s just an extra hour away from the chaos of your business life. There’s only so long you can move at a rapid pace before getting burn out, so learning to set a schedule and sticking to it will ensure you’re always performing at your very best. Tip #3: Get Enough Sleep Another natural way to reduce stress is to make sure that you get enough, but not too much-sleep. When we don’t rest enough at the end of our day, our body can tense up and it leads to irritability and depression. And when we’re irritable or depressed, we’re stressed.

Instagram Ads Success MRR Ebook

Sample Content Preview Once you have specified your target audience in Instagram you have the ability to retarget them as we mentioned earlier. You can customize your retargeting to take into account engagement with Instagram posts, video views on Instagram, customer email lists and more. With this kind of targeting functionality you can take your marketing to the next level with Instagram. You can setup specific sales funnels for your Instagram ads that will achieve the results that you are looking for. 3. You can Track Sales and Leads There is no point spending money on any form of advertising if you can’t measure the effectiveness of it. The good news is that Instagram has the same comprehensive tracking features that the Facebook platform has. You can track everything including clicks on links, leads generated and conversions. If you want to see the cost per result then this is also possible. It’s possible for you to measure just about everything. If you want to break down results further you can see where leads came from, what device they were using etc. We would always recommend that you split test your ads and this is easy to track with Instagram Analytics. The metrics available with Instagram Ads are very comprehensive and provide advertisers with the feedback that they need. 4. Tap into an Unreached Customer Base Statistics show that 50% of people on Instagram will view the profile of businesses that they like on a daily basis. If you don’t have an Instagram account then you will miss out on this kind of action. It is unlikely that you will be able to find the same level of customers using other advertising channels outside of Instagram. When you establish your Instagram presence you really will be able to tap into a market of potential customers that would be very difficult, if not impossible, to replicate elsewhere. 5. Build your Audience Organically One advantage that Instagram has over Facebook is that you can build an audience organically that will stay in touch with your brand. You can create a natural relationship without using ads rather than have to force it with ads as you do on Facebook. Once you start to get followers this will grow organically through word of mouth. When an Instagram user follows your business they decide that they want to see your posts on their timeline. This is great for developing initial interest which you can then build on. 6. You can make Relationships Stronger Brand engagement on Instagram is 10 times higher than it is on Facebook, 54 times higher than on Pinterest and 84 times higher than on Twitter. With engagement rates on this scale you can expect more interaction with your posts organically. If a user “likes” a post on Instagram this is archived in their personal “Posts You’ve Liked” section. This is a bank of images that they “liked” on the platform that they can access at any time. You can use this to stimulate conversations and comments with your followers. 7. Learn what your Audience Likes and Dislikes You can learn a great deal about your audience with Instagram. How good would it be to know what they like and dislike? When you know this you can create specific ad campaigns around this information. It is easy for you to see what kind of content your audience likes and the content that they don’t like. You can also see the kinds of Instagram accounts that they like to follow. All of this will help you to provide your audience with the content that they are really looking for. 8. The Visual Advantage If you didn’t already know, Instagram is a visual platform for images and videos. Text can be added but it is not mandatory. This is great because people are far more likely to remember what they see rather than what they hear or read. Videos are the best media for engagement on social media. Images will also outperform text only posts significantly. You can create videos and images that really make your business stand out for higher engagement and increase your chances of converting followers into customers. Instagram first offered ads back in 2013 but it wasn’t until 2015 that this was opened up to everyone. Once businesses started to use Instagram Ads they found them to be very effective. At the time of writing this guide the average cost per click of Instagram ads is about $0.70 to $0.80. This comes from an analysis of over $300 million in ad spend on the platform. This is an average cost and it is possible that your Instagram Ads could cost considerably less depending on a number of different factors. The time of year the ads are placed affects the cost with the last quarter of the year having the highest average costs. There are five different Instagram Ad formats which are: 1. Stories 2. Photos 3. Videos 4. Carousel 5. Collection Each one of these formats are interlaced with Instagram user feeds and stories ensuring that the Instagram user has a non-disruptive experience on the platform. There are also a number of different calls to action that you can use to generate more leads. You can see these as we explain each of the five formats.
