You own several dogs and a cat, and are an enthusiast for natural healthcare because it's worked for you and for your friends. Today you're going to make copious notes. You're going to write down everything you can think of which relates to your idea. It doesn’t matter whether you use a computer file, or a pen and paper, sit down and get ready. Ask yourself: who, what, how, when, where and why. Make topic headings for each question. Then answer each question. Don’t try to write in complete sentences, just make notes. For example, if you took one of your dogs to a doggie chiropractor for several years, note down the chiropractor's name, the dog's name, problems the dog had, the number of sessions --- anything and everything you can remember. Also write down what you don’t know, so you can find out. (One of the benefits of research is that you get to answer all the questions you have about a topic.) Take as much time as you need. You may want to work in forty-minute sessions, and then go and do something else for a while. Taking breaks is important. It's during the breaks that your subconscious mind will go to work for you can scan your memory banks to come up with more ideas. Don’t discard any of your ideas. And write down every idea, no matter how tangential. Your mind works via associations. Therefore, if you get a notion to write down "Phips --- broken leg" write this down, even if it seems that it has nothing to do with natural healthcare for pets. Phips was your first dog, and was hit by a car. This was 30 years ago, and you don’t remember much about the incident. However, after writing it down, you ask your mother about Phips, and she tells you that the little Corgi was bred by a woman who was into natural healthcare (you didn’t remember this --- you may not even have known it, but somehow your subconscious got you to write it down). You contact the woman, who's elderly, but who's a fountain of useful information, and she provides almost a chapter of information for your book. You'll find that you have many serendipitous incidents like this as you write your proposal and your book. 2. Make a long list of possible book titles At this stage, you don’t need the perfect title, Healthcare for Pets will do as your working title. Make a list of 20 title ideas as quickly as you can. (And save the list.) Don't sweat a title. You'll often find that the perfect title doesn't occur to you until you book is completely written. Or, your publisher may come up with a title they want to use. 3. Create a list of contacts Who could help you with information for this book? Write down the name of everyone you can think of. Do this quickly, you can look up their email address or postal address when the time comes to contact them. At this stage, you just want a list of all those people who will be able to help you. Is there an association of people who might help? In our Healthcare for Pets example, there will be numerous veterinary associations and kennel club associations of people who could provide valuable information. Create an Acknowledgements computer file. Whenever someone helps you with information for the book, type their name into the Acknowledgements file. People get a kick out of helping an author with a book, and the best way to thank them is to make sure that their name appears on the Acknowledgements page in the book. Assess the market for your book 1. Visit large bookstores Start by visiting some large bookstores. Take your notebook and a pen. Copy the Tables of Contents of books that treat the same subject matter that your book does. You will want to make your book significantly different from other books which cover the same topic. If your book is exactly the same as other books on the topic, no publisher will be interested in buying it. However, you shouldn’t be discouraged if there are many books covering the area which you intend to cover. Lots of books mean that this area is very popular. For example, publishers bring out dozens of diet books each year. And there's room for yours, too! Aim for at least three to five points of difference. This doesn’t mean that you have to come up with all new information. In fact, presenting completely new information is impossible. Sticking with our diet book example, there's only one way to lose weight, and that's to take in fewer calories than you expend. Authors reveal this ghastly news to their readers in many ways. Therefore, it's how you present the material that counts. If you can show readers a new way to diet, and you can prove that your method works, you're in, with a hot seller on your hands. 2. Visit your library Next, drive to the library. Ask the librarian for Books In Print. This is a multi-volume set of reference books which lists all the books currently available by author, subject and title. Your library may have the books, or it may have the BIP CDs. If your library's BIP is on CD, get a printout of all the books in your subject area. Don't faint if you see an ultra-lengthy list! Several years ago when I was assessing the market for a book on time management, BIP spat out ten-plus pages. I got all the books which sounded as though they might be similar via inter-library loan, and none resembled my book at all. So the fact that there are lots and lots of books means little other than that this subject is popular. This is a good thing! Next check out Forthcoming Books. FC should be available at your library right near BIP. FC lists all those books which will be released in the next six months. You'll want to have the books which are the main competition for your book on hand if possible. You don't have to buy them all. You can borrow them from the library, or if they’re listed on Amazon.com, you can use Amazon.com's clever "Look Inside" technology, so that you can scan the contents pages of competing titles. 3. Amazon.com Amazon.com is your next port of call. Type the subject of your book into the search query box, and you'll get a list of all those books which touch on your subject area. Print out this list. Having the list handy helps you when the time comes to pick a title. Read the descriptions, and all the reviews of any books which sound as if they might be similar to yours. Write a report on your discoveries Now you've finished surveying the marketplace as it stands for your idea, take the time to write a brief report on what you've discovered. This report is for your own use. Do this right away when it's all still fresh in your mind. It's important to do this, because when you talk to your editor or agent, you'll want to have all the information on the market situation handy. Your report doesn’t have to be long. A page will do.

Sample Content Preview If you were selling an expensive watch, you wouldn’t tell your reader that the face is 2 inches in diameter and the band is made of leather. You show him how the extra-large face will tell him the time at a glance. No sir! He won’t have to squint and look foolish to everyone around him trying to read this magnificent timepiece. And how about the way he’ll project success and charisma when he wears the beautiful gold watch with its handcrafted custom leather band? How his lover will find him irresistible when he’s all dressed up to go out, wearing the watch. Or how the watch’s status and beauty will attract the ladies. Incidentally, did you notice how I brought up not squinting as a benefit? Does that sound like a silly benefit? Not if you are selling to affluent baby boomers suffering from degrading vision. They probably hate it when someone they’re trying to impress sees them squint in order to read something. It’s all part of their inner desire, which you need to discover. And which even they may not know about. That is, until you show them a better way. The point is to address the benefits of the product, not its features. And when you do that, you’re focusing on your reader and his interests, his desires. The trick is to highlight those specific benefits (and word them correctly) that push your reader’s emotional hot buttons. How do you do that? Read on! Push Their Emotional Hot Buttons This is where research really pays off. Because in order to push those buttons, you need to first know what they are. Listen to this story first, and I’ll tell you what I mean: Once upon a time a young man walked into a Chevrolet dealer’s showroom to check out a Chevy Camaro. He had the money, and he was ready to make a buying decision. But he couldn’t decide if he wanted to buy the Camaro or the Ford Mustang up the road at the Ford dealer. A salesman approached him and soon discovered the man’s dilemma. “Tell me what you like best about the Camaro,” said the salesman. “It’s a fast car. I like it for its speed.” After some more discussion, the salesman learned the man had just started dating a cute college cheerleader. So what did the salesman do? Simple. He changed his pitch accordingly, to push the hot buttons he knew would help advance the sale. He told the man about how impressed his new girlfriend would be when he came home with this car! He placed the mental image in the man’s mind of he and his girlfriend cruising to the beach in the Camaro. How all of his friends will be envious when they see him riding around with a beautiful girl in a beautiful car. And suddenly the man saw it. He got it. And the salesman recognized this and piled it on even more. Before you know it, the man wrote a nice fat check to the Chevy dealership, because he was sold! The salesman found those hot buttons and pushed them like never before until the man realized he wanted the Camaro more than he wanted his money. I know what you’re thinking…the man said he liked the car because it was fast, didn’t he? Yes, he did. But subconsciously, what he really desired was a car that would impress his girlfriend, his friends, and in his mind make them love him more! In his mind he equated speed with thrill. Not because he wanted an endless supply of speeding tickets, but because he thought that thrill would make him more attractive, more likeable. Perhaps the man didn’t even realize this fact himself. But the salesman sure did. And he knew which emotional hot buttons to press to get the sale. Now, where does the research pay off? Well, a good salesman knows how to ask the kinds of questions that will tell him which buttons to press on the fly. When you’re writing copy, you don’t have that luxury. It’s therefore very important to know upfront the wants, needs, and desires of your prospects for that very reason. If you haven’t done your homework, your prospect is going to decide that he’d rather keep his money than buy your product. Remember, copywriting is salesmanship in print! It’s been said many times: People don’t like to be sold. But they do like to buy. And they buy based on emotion first and foremost. Then they justify their decision with logic, even after they are already sold emotionally. So be sure to back up your emotional pitch with logic to nurture that justification at the end. And while we’re on the subject, let’s talk a moment about perceived “hype” in a sales letter. A lot of more “conservative” advertisers have decided that they don’t like hype, because they consider hype to be old news, been-there-and-done-that, my customers won’t fall for hype, it’s not believable anymore. What they should realize is that hype itself does not sell well. Some less experienced copywriters often try to compensate for their lack of research or not fully understanding their target market or the product itself by adding tons of adjectives and adverbs and exclamation points and big bold type. Whew! If you do your job right, it’s just not needed. That’s not to say some adverbs or adjectives don’t have their place…only if they’re used sparingly, and only if they advance the sale. But I think you’d agree that backing up your copy with proof and believability will go a lot farther in convincing your prospects than “power words” alone. I say power words, because there are certain adverbs and adjectives that have been proven to make a difference when they’re included. This by itself is not hype. But repeated too often, they become less effective, and they take away (at least in your prospect’s mind) from the proof.

How To Make Your Home Sell PLR Ebook

Table of Contents TABLE OF CONTENTS .. 3 Selling Homes in the World of Real Estate: Introduction ... 4 What Keep Homes From Being Sold? . 7 Tips on How to Make a "First Good Impression" of Your Home 9 OUTSIDE .... 9 INSIDE ...... 10 Quick and Easy Ways on How to Sell Your Home .... 13 Sample Content Preview There are several seminars arranged from time to time from which professionals can take valuable advice. Trends keep changing from time to time and a good professional must necessarily keep himself updated about those recent developments. On the basis of such knowledge he can suggest to sellers or their agents what to do with their house while selling. The professional keeping himself abreast of the latest developments even increases the sellers faith in him and is a sure shot tool of success for the professional. After all, nothing is more valuable than the professional being able to get the house sold faster for a good price. What Keep Homes From Being Sold? Selling houses needs the agent and sellers to have a certain kind of experience. It is a fact that houses cannot always be sold on the spur of the moment. It needs proper planning and there is always a cohesive way to go about it. one of the other hassles that those who need to sell their house need to go through are the legal and technical formalities that form such an important part of the whole process. The legal paperwork that selling a house involves is far greater that you can imagine. It needs proper professional aid. If you are capable of doing it yourself, then it is an additional advantage, but you must be very careful. Any small error in any detail that you may have provided can cost you a lot of money. The following is a basic checklist you must always refer to when you try and show your house to prospective buyers. You need to take care of these things so that you do not put them off, thwarting your chances of actually striking a good bargain: • De-clutter: Any home with a lot of clutter, that is to say, a house that has not used up its space in a proper manner stands very less chances of getting sold faster for a good price. More and more people these days are looking at optimizing the space within the house. Because of increasing population, the living area for most people is decreasing. So within whatever space they have, they would like to have it done well. • Make Beds: In case you are in a habit of leaving home each morning for work without having made your beds, you are in trouble. Your agent may bring prospective buyers to your house and they may find beds not made. This is nothing major but it just gives a very negative impression. If you cannot make your beds in the morning, you can talk with your agent and ask him to avoid bringing in people before a particular time, or bring them only during weekends, the only time you make your bed! • Clean Closets: Make sure your closets and drawers are neatly arranged. It just gives an impression of order within the household. Cluttered closets symbolize chaos and give a wrong impression of your house to buyers. • Light: Make sure that you have your curtains drawn to let in enough natural light. Use natural light as far as possible. Artificial lighting can be used to enhance the interiors of your house, but just relying on artificial lighting gives a gloomy impression. • Leave your house: Let the agents do the showing around. If someone has come to view your house that they might buy for a huge sum of money, they want to have a look at it well. In the presence of its current residents, viewers cannot frankly view the house well. They cannot open and inspect each cabinet. • Clean yard: Make sure your yard is clean and tidy as well. As with beds and closets, this too plays a major role in forming a good impression. • Be Accessible: You may have a very erratic schedule, but you must make sure that you are available for prospective buyers whenever they have to make a phone call to you to ask you things about your house. This is one way in which you can ensure your house gets sold quickly. Untraceable owners lose many a prospect just be being inaccessible. Keep your agent or realtor abreast of the kind of schedule you follow. • Dogs and pets: If you have strange fascination for weird pets, or even for something as harmless as a dog, make sure you send him for a walk. People who come to view your house may not be very impressed by your animal. On the contrary, if they do not like animals, they may feel uncomfortable, and be unable to inspect your house well. • Smell: Make sure your house does not stink under any circumstances. It is a major put off • Check Regularly: You must inspect your own house to see everything is in place, especially the above items. Do a regular check up, may be once a week. Arrange the closets, mow the yard. Make sure everything looks vibrant and happy. Never, however, give a false impression. Show your house just as it is, reflecting all the good times you have spent there.

What does a 7 Figure Mindset comprise of? This means you are always aware that you are serving your customers in different stages. The different stages also comprise of different values. The higher you and your customer climb the different stages, the higher the value added and given. This also means you are paid more. Believe me, a percentage of your audience will always want to pay you premium to get more value. Your goal is to scale it higher every time you promote your offer. Let me provide you with an example. Let’s say you filled in a survey online for a hair salon. In exchange, you get a free hair wash from the salon. When you visit the salon for the treatment, the staff attending to you will point out that your hair is dry and you need more than a regular hair wash. The staff will then suggest you sign up for a moisturizing hair treatment. Then, the staff will point out that if you opt for the hair treatment, you’ll get a hair curl treatment for a special price. When you do, they will notify you that your curls need to be maintained and you can schedule an appointment with the salon 3 months later. Have you noticed the trend here? The salon has strategically carried you through different value stages. From a free service, you are walking out of the salon potentially paying them hundreds to thousands. Firstly, you are offered a free service, which is technically bait to lure you into their system. Second, the salon provided you with value by noticing that you had dry hair. Because you have received value, you naturally want to proceed and obtain more from the salon. Thirdly, the salon found another way to provide value to you, and this time aesthetically. Consumers usually fall for the offer as well. By the end of the process, the staff indirectly took you into their continuity program, where you need to attend further treatment to maintain your curls. Continuity is where you continue to pay weekly, monthly or yearly for a service until you choose to cancel it. This salon has perfectly executed their Value Ladder. When you are clear of the values you would want to project and present to your customers, you will auto magically generate your sales funnel, set up your backend systems and generate leads for you. Don’t be surprised if some of your customers are willing to pay you hundred thousands of dollars for your high end service, as they acknowledge the fact that you are able to provide them with the highest value. Always have this 7 Figure Mindset, where you would want to keep offering your customers the highest value of service. It does not only build their trust towards your brand, but they are willing to pay you more for that! Chapter 4: Affiliate Marketing If you are still not ready or you need some time to offer your clients your own products, you can always consider starting out with affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing if done right, can help you generate massive commissions. Not only that, you are also able to build and expand your list through affiliate marketing. What Is Affiliate Marketing? The concept of affiliate marketing is simple: we are selling products or services for others. And of course, we are doing the marketing campaign for other vendors’ products to be sold to the public. In other words, it gives us the avenue to earn commissions through promoting other peoples or companies’ products. You start out by choosing a product you find valuable in the market. You then promote it in the most efficient way you can and make a sizable profit for your efforts. But at the end of the day, the most important and truly rewarding part of affiliating is when a sale is made! Essentially, it is performance-based marketing. I’m sure you agree with me on this one; ‘how much you earn as an affiliate to the vendor corresponds to your sales’. If you were to make a lot of sales, then you’ll earn a big amount of commission. If not, however, you won’t earn as much. But I know what you are thinking, you’ve done all that and yet it’s not enough, isn’t it? You would probably be wondering about the extra commission you can earn that will double, no, triple your commission! Truth about maximizing your commission is that, it’s not as simple as it sounds, but it’s also not as difficult as you’d think. Why Affiliate Marketing? Through affiliate marketing, you are able to accomplish three things for three different parties. First, you are earning commissions for yourself. Second, you’re helping a company or other people to generate leads and prospects. Finally, you are making a new satisfying experience to your customers. They would discover a product from you that can really be helpful and valuable to them. The thing about affiliate marketing is, how we don’t have to create our own products for this business to run. Yes, you know that you don’t have to go through the trouble of actually coming up with ideas and the labor of producing something. Instead, you’ll be selling other people’s products. You don’t need for a big email list to drive traffic to the offer and a huge budget. You are, in short, an online sales agent. Your main task is to make sales but to do so, you have to be creative with your approach to your potentials. That is why on further chapters, I will break down the steps you need, to scout for the potential killer products! The Common Mistakes Of Rookie Affiliate Marketers Most of us tend to neglect even the very basics of affiliate skills when we first start out. So, what are the potential mistakes you might be doing all or the ones you are unaware of? The thing that you could’ve been doing unknowingly is not building your own mailing list. This is an exceptional no! Your buyers’ list is the very foundation of your affiliate marketing endeavor and most importantly, your online business. It is the very basic of it all and you should always regard it with the highest importance. Another folly of a common affiliate marketer does not know how to generate traffic at its fullest. You have your own way of doing this, of course, but are you truly maximizing the number of potential that you should have been generating? Facebook, Google AdWords, Solo Ads and many others are only some example of the methods of generating traffic. Even I must admit, traffic generating methods is far more intricate than what it is thought to be. But fret not. If you stay towards the end of this book, I will show you some of my free and paid traffic hacks for you to increase the number of traffic and eventually your commission! Chapter 5: The C.R.A.F.T Strategy To be at the top of your affiliate marketing game, where every prospect and subscribers go to, I personally suggest you implement the C.R.A.F.T strategy. This is the attitude that you need to maintain when affiliating! The “C” in the ‘C.R.A.F.T.’ Strategy represents Consistency. We have all heard of the famous story about the rabbit and the tortoise race. The tortoise successfully wins the game because of its Consistency. By now, you should know that a successful online business does not happen overnight; it is a process of progress. So, how and what can you do to be consistent? When you are an affiliate, it is a given to always be consistent in your technique. But personally, I would say to keep your consistency ‘in the know’ of what’s happening in the market.

Rapid Offline Profits PLR Ebook

Sample Content Preview Facebook allows you to directly target "small business owners" in the "Behaviors" field. I really recommend that you do this. The best 4 areas to target are: doctors, take-out restaurants, optometrists, and computer repair. Why? Because these targets tend to have a massive customer list compiled, making it easy for them to see great results with your service. 6) Send your visitors to your landing page that professionally and thoroughly explains what you are going to be doing for them (see script above). If you choose to simply host a video on YouTube instead of using a landing page, that is fine. However, keep a strong call-to-action at the end. I always recommend a strong video landing page. Provide your contact information in your clear call-to-action. Showing your face is not required, but is always a strong plus and leads to guaranteed more sales. **PROTIP: I recommend that you use pictures of smiling women in your Facebook ads as much as possible. This is a secret trick that I learned about a year ago and it converts at a much higher rate. Also, remember that your headline is important. This headline is a good start: "Business slow lately? We can fix that." Method #2 (Free): Your next option is completely free. However, it does require you to either call or email local businesses in your area personally. You can call around to local businesses and offer to do this service for free (approximately $30-50 out of your pocket). Explain that you are a local marketer and your are building a case study for a new social media marketing method. Clearly explain the benefits of this method to them and that there are ZERO strings attached. You simply want to make sure this works before taking it into the big picture. "Phil, if I do this for free how do I make money?" Stop right there. Let me explain something to you. The offline world is overflowing with referrals and connections. It's happening every single second of every single day, even as you're reading this. So, what we're going to do is to start you out by providing this service to local businesses for free, in exchange for them referring you to their friends and related businesses, which will make you a TON of money. I have found that approximately every 1 out of 3 businesses will request more information or be interested. Many will be skeptical as they don't understand that you are offering a legitimate service. You will need to get a hold of the business owner's name before calling. You can do this by searching for the business in "Manta." Many businesses will have the owner listed as well as the email address. Ask to speak with them directly. As nerve-racking as it can be, try to become as relaxed as possible. Remember that you're just talking to another person. I always try to get myself into the "talking to a friend" mindset before I call. It takes practice. Don't expect immediate perfection. To recap on this Step 1: Search "Manta" to find the business owner's name. Step 2: Call the business. I recommend that you make a basic script, as that will allow you to sound more professional and clear with your message. With cold calling, you have approximately 10 seconds to secure their attention. Step 3: Ask to speak directly to the owner or ask when a convenient time would be to speak with them. If they ask why you are calling, say that you have a couple questions for them. Step 4: Explain the service that you are offering clearly and concisely. Tell them that you will do this for them for free if they will refer you to their friends (after they've had results). Expect some of them to say "no" immediately. Don't let that get a rise out of you. Method #3 (Budget Required): Buying business email lists is great for this method because you can DIRECTLY target the 4 niches that I suggest above. However, you need to make sure that you only purchase lists that were obtained through legal and anti-SPAM-compliant methods. My favorite website for doing this is InfoUSA. They have a great database of extremely targeted business emails that are compliant with mailing regulations. I recommend that you target the 4 niches that I list above (doctors, optometrists, take-out restaurants, and computer repair). These convert very well, especially if your email copy is good. Step #1: Go to https://leads.infousa.com/Business/ TypeOfBusiness.aspx and register for an account. Step #2: Select your niche while searching for email lists to purchase. Do this by clicking on the "Search for an Industry Type or Business Name" button. Choose your target niche. Step #3: Purchase your list and import it into your email marketing client. I recommend that you use MailChimp, as they don't require double opt-in imports.

progress and will also provide you with motivation on your bad days as you can see how far you have come from when you started out. Keeping track of your progress is a good idea, because not only it will tell you about your current fitness level; you will also see how far you still have to go. CHECKING THE WAY YOU RUN Your running gait, put simply, is the way in which you run. It is important so that you can understand your own type of gait and choose appropriate shoes. By choosing the right shoes, you can redress the imbalance and greatly reduce the risk of contracting a "biomechanical" injury. The major focus of gait analysis is to measure the degree of pronation. Pronation is the natural inward roll of the foot as the outside part of the heel strikes the ground. This roll acts as a shock absorber for the leg and body, optimally distributing the force of the impact of the heel hitting the ground. Gait analysis matches the runner’s degree of pronation with the correct shoe type, with the aims of counter-balancing over- or under-pronation, helping reduce the risk of injury and improving running efficiency. With the help of specialized computer software and running gait specialists, your running pattern can be analyzed and accurate advice can be offered as to which type of shoe you should choose. This procedure may seem like an expensive and inaccessible luxury, but you would be wrong on both counts. This service is usually free and leaves you with peace of mind, knowing that that the shoes you use for your training are the right ones. There are even some techniques by which you can assess it for yourself, e.g. by looking at your shoe and its wear and tear, or doing the wet feet test. You do it by wetting your bare feet and then walking on something on which you will be able to see the marks. Then look at how your feet land. CHOOSING YOUR RUNNING EQUIPMENT First, let's talk about the necessary items. All you really need is a pair of good running sneakers—something comfortable to wear while you run—and, for women, a good sports bra. Seriously, that's it. Everything else is gravy. For runners, selecting running shoes is akin to purchasing a house or a car; you’re going to spend a lot of time in them, so you want something you really like. In addition to a comfortable ride, shoes can play a major role in keeping you running strong. As you set out to find the best shoes for the job, you should first consider the shape of your feet. The three main foot types are flat, neutral and high arches. Flat feet tend to have fallen arches, making them flexible and prone to over-pronation, an inward rolling motion. Neutral feet are the most biomechanically sound variety, putting them somewhere in the middle. High-arched feet are essentially the polar opposite of flat feet. When the arches are particularly defined, the feet end up being rigid, leading to supination or landing on the outside edges of the feet. As a result of the variety of foot shapes, shoe companies have developed models to accommodate runners of all strides. In the selection process, be sure to align your foot type with the proper shoe category. Flat-footed harriers tend to gravitate to a higher stability shoe, as they help prevent over-pronation. Neutral runners can often run in many types of footwear, but most commonly go for a moderate stability shoe. Runners with high arches are best suited for a cushioned shoe, providing midsole padding with flexibility. Once you are directed to the correct category, try on several pair. Most runners need to go up a half size from their street shoes, allowing for one-fourth to a half inch of wiggle room in the toe box. While you want to be able to move your toes around, be sure your heel is snug and secure, avoiding any unnecessary slippage. In the end, most runners know when they have found the ideal shoe. It should literally feel like a part of your foot, working in concert with your natural foot shape and biomechanics. Whether you’re an Olympic athlete or a periodic pavement pounder, happy feet can make all the difference. To choose the best shoe, follow these five tips: 1. Visit a local running store to have your gait analyzed based on your foot type and biomechanics. 2. Choose which feel is right for you. 3. Make sure you have a half to a full thumb’s nail length from your big toe to the end of the shoe. 4. Take a short run around the store to test the fit, function and comfort before you make your final purchase. 5. To prevent injuries, replace your shoes every 300 to 400 miles, depending on the surface on which you run. Once you have your sneakers picked out, look for some basic running apparel. You'll need a shirt or two, preferably made of good wicking material, as that will help pull the sweat away from your body and will dry faster than cotton. But, if you're just starting, feel free to wear what you have in your closet. You'll also need running shorts, pants, tights or even a skirt if you like. Feel free to shop for new ones or just wear what you have at home. A good sports bra is a must for women. RUNNING GADGETS AND PERFORMANCE ENHANCERS Once you have your basic running gear, you can look at the fun extras. A running watch can help you know your pace, encourage you to run faster, or run negative splits (running the second half of a run faster than the first half). A Smartphone loaded with a few running apps can also be a great help. You can even use your Smartphone in place of a watch. Any standard Smartphone will work, and you will probably want to buy an armband to hold it while you run. You can find an armband online at multiple sites or in your local running store. Now that you have your Smartphone ready to hit the road with you, you'll need an app or two. When your runs are on the shorter side, say up to five miles, you don't need a runner's belt, but it can be helpful to carry keys, ID or some cash in case of emergencies. As you increase your distance, you will need a belt to carry fuel and/or water. There are all different kinds of belts. Some will carry water bottles, some energy gels, and almost all have a pocket for small personal items. Another item you will need as you run longer is some sort of fuel for your body. You are looking for a simple carbohydrate that your system can easily absorb to keep you fueled on your longer runs. You can try energy gels or even candy like jelly beans or gummy bears. Stay away from chocolate, as the fat content will not work, as well as the sugary candy, which can upset your stomach. One last piece of gear that can be helpful as you continue running: a foam roller. A foam roller is a long tube that helps you massage and stretch your muscles after you run; it helps to break up the lactic acid in your muscles, as well. You don't run with your foam roller, but rather use it after you run to help your body recover faster. There are so many things that can be fun to have as a runner. You could try bright running sleeves to give you a pick-me-up on your runs (and keep your arms warm when you don't feel like wearing long sleeves), or perhaps you'd have fun running a 5K in a costume. The one fun thing that is truly recommended adding to your running "gear" is some good music. If you're already running with a Smartphone, load it up with some cool tunes, or download your favorite music onto your mp3 player. Running with some good, upbeat music can really help your pace and give you that extra edge to keep on going. Give it a try!

You’ve become so used to pretending to be someone else that you feel like you don’t know yourself anymore. You’ve buried the real you so long ago, you feel like it’s going to be impossible to revive your old self now. The good news is that when you finally get to unlock your cage, you can reconnect with the old you - the real you. You never really left, you were just hidden from view underneath all the different hats you had to wear. Who are you, really? When you come out of your cage, you’ll realize the world isn’t what it once was. Everything’s changed. Your old friends have probably all moved away and now live very different lives from yours. What you used to find interesting may no longer appeal to you. Fortunately, there are quite a few ways you can get to know who you really are right at this very moment. The first thing you need to figure out is who you really want to be and what you really want to do. Sure, you may have other people dependent on you now, like your spouse and your kids, and your world revolves around them. But you don’t have to be just a wife and a mother, or a husband and a father. You can still be your own self! You still have your own identity. But, the thing is, you’re not the same person anymore. You’ve grown over the years – you’ve become more mature, you’ve become more experienced, you’ve become more knowledgeable about life. That’s who you need to discover – the YOU in these present times. Take it slowly Over time, you may have forgotten your desires and lost touch with your old self. Rushing your journey may scare you back into your cage. You don’t want that to happen. You want to liberate yourself! Let the process of rediscovering yourself happen naturally. Explore your wants and your desires, and let the “real” you come out slowly. Take baby steps if necessary, and get reacquainted with who you really are. Take some ‘me’ time every day. Even just a few minutes a day can do wonders for you. You can start a journal where you write down every little thing you can think of. Don’t worry if what you’re writing down seems silly. It’s okay, you’re the only one who’s going to read it! Writing your thoughts down will help you figure out what you really want and who you really are. There’s something cathartic about writing, use it to help you get out of your shell. You can also re-live your favorite memories, your favorite places, your favorite people, the favorite things you used to do way back when. What was it about those things that made you so happy and free? Is it possible for you to recreate those scenarios? See if you can do that, and while it won’t be exactly the same as what you remember, it will still bring you plenty of joy. It will inspire you to continue doing more of the same things simply because it makes you happy! Re-introducing yourself Rediscovering yourself also means helping other people get to know the ‘new’ you as well. They don’t have to like you right away. In fact, some may even express anger or disappointment. But don’t let their opinions affect you, you’re no longer trapped in a cage where they can easily torment you. You’re free to go as you wish. If they don’t like the real you, then they’ll have to find a way to deal with it. You’re not anybody’s slave, you’re free to go after your desires and your dreams in life. You’re free, period. Spend time with people who will support the new and improved you. They’ll help you feel better about yourself. You can count on them when you need someone to remind you of why you needed to get out your cage in the first place. Taking the first step out of the cage is always the hardest, but after that, it becomes easier to walk away from the old you. As time goes by, the memories of your time in your self-imposed prison will become hazy. But don’t you forget it though! Let it serve as a reminder of what will happen if you lose sight of yourself again. Chapter 3 – Learning To Love Yourself “Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” - Lucille Ball You love your family, your spouse, your children, your friends. But do you love yourself? Do you know what you want for yourself? Do you know who you really are? If you’ve been hiding the real you for years, then it’s time to come out. There’s no benefit in pretending to be someone you’re not. You’re just pushing yourself deeper and deeper into your self-imposed prison. When you learn to love yourself, you’ll begin to see some changes you’ve never experienced before. You’ll learn to be freer with your choices. You won’t pay as much attention to what other people are saying. You’ll learn to say what you really want to say. The new you might come as a surprise to the people around you. But really, as long as you’re happy, then what they say or think about you shouldn’t matter. That’s the power of loving yourself! You won’t be bounded by the old things that used to make you hate yourself. You’ll no longer care if you’re overweight, if you haven’t got perfect skin or pearly white teeth, or your hair naturally looks like a bird’s nest, or something superficial like that. You’ll be able to accept yourself for who you truly are. When you learn to accept your imperfect self, you’ll open your eyes and see so many opportunities around you. You’ve missed these before because you were too busy pretending to be someone else. Respecting yourself With self-love comes self-respect. When you learn to respect yourself, you learn to respect your boundaries. You learn to put yourself on a pedestal whereas before you would have allowed others to walk all over you. You learn to follow what your heart desires and fulfill your own wishes. You no longer wait for other people to approve your decisions (you may, of course, seek their advice to make sure you’re making the right ones). You no longer crave the opinion of others. In the past, you may have followed bad advice from people you respected, simply because you respected them more than you respected yourself. You’ll realize you respect yourself when you finally learn the power of the word “no.” You’ll no longer allow yourself to become everyone’s favorite doormat. You’ll learn to stand up and fight for yourself. At the same time, you will also learn how to start saying “yes.” “Yes” to things that will bring good tidings to you. “Yes” to opportunities that can help you reach your goals faster. “Yes” to new relationships with people who’ll respect you. Ultimately, your self-respect will lead you to self-discipline. You learn the importance of building positive habits and letting go of bad ones. You’ll become a better person who has the power to influence others positively. Self-love is not self-centered Loving yourself is not the same as being narcissistic or being self-centered. Narcissists don’t love themselves, they love the image they have of themselves. An image where everything revolves around them. They are blind to their faults and their bad qualities. When you love yourself, you are fully self-aware. You know both your good and bad traits. You embrace your feelings. You take care not to antagonize others and cause problems in relationships. In everything you do, you consider both sides of the coin. When you’re self-centered, you want everyone to bow down to you. You want people to respect your space and your rights, and not reciprocate the favor. You feel entitled to everything, and when your wishes get denied, you lash out and play the role of a sorry victim. Self-love teaches you to be more compassionate, not just towards yourself but towards others as well. You become your own best friend, and as your best friend, you learn to accept your own emotions. This, in turn, leads to better awareness towards other people’s emotions as well. Since you’re more open to everyone around you, you appreciate everyone’s uniqueness. As your self-love grows, so does your love for others. This is when you truly become selfless. You’ve got so much love within you that it overflows to everyone around you! It’s easy to forgive yourself, and as such, it becomes easier to forgive those who’ve slighted you, too. Imagine what the world will be like if everyone loves themselves. The song “Love makes the world go round” will finally start making sense to you.

History behind REJUVENATION 101 Facial rejuvenation is the latest trend as it is increasing day by day. Many people opt for it to avoid aging and to look younger. Rejuvenation is basically a cosmetic treatment that involves different steps. It is essential to follow these steps properly in order to achieve desired results. The two types of rejuvenation are surgical and non-surgical. Surgical Rejuvenation targets the depths. It can correct facial symmetry by altering the skin. Non-Surgical rejuvenation is more of a shallow treatment. It focuses on wrinkles, freckles and hyper pigmentation. However, it is always better to avoid any surgical methods and live a natural and organic life. This will automatically enhance the beauty and freshness of your skin. Myths about Aging There are numerous myths that are linked to aging. A lot of the time people believe these myths and start thinking of it as an aging process. These myths are not the real cause of aging, and we can discuss broadly what these myths related to aging are: Myth: If You Didn’t Exercise In Your 20s, 30s, 40s; It’s Too Late To Start In Your 60s, 70s, 80s It is never too late to start working out. A study was conducted where people at the age 70 plus are given a workout plan. By the end of their workout program, it was observed that their muscles are stronger than before. Myth: Getting Older Makes People Depressed Depression is not something that is found in older people only. These days it can be easily found in people of any age. As depression is becoming more common day by day, treatment is also more widely available now, and is becoming advanced. It is easy to treat depression only if people admit that they need help. The depression gets worst because people refuse to get it treated and it further develops memory and learning problems. Myth: You Lose Your Creativity As You Age Creativity actually offers great benefits for older people. Painting, gardening and doing other creative arts lets you stay active and sane. It helps older people divert their attention away from the thoughts they may have concerning their body aging. A study had a group of older people join a choir. It was noted that the older people felt less depressed, more active and happy by the end of the study. Myth: Your Brain Shrinks with Your Age The hippocampus, a part of the brain responsible for memory was said to be smaller in older people as compared to younger people. Later, a study was conducted where Dr. Lupien scanned the brains of people in the age bracket of 18-84. The results showed that people from 18-24 years of age had smaller hippocampuses than of the ones in some adults. Hence, it was concluded that the shrinking of the hippocampus was not due to ageing but due to stress. Myth: Your Joints Become Creaky and Ache More Your joints don’t get creaky when you age. There are a lot of young people who face this issue of creaky joints too. The core reason for creaky joint is lack of exercise. As scientists say, that even by developing a simple habit of walking daily, every morning, this problem can be nullified. If older people follow an exercise routine they can avoid all the myths that are related to aging. Misconceptions and Myths The desire to look young has always existed since the dawn of human civilization. Going back in history, there were plenty of myths regarding anti-aging. Let’s discuss a few of these those misconceptions at some length: 1. Black Magic: Back in the 18th century, there were people who believed that they can gain youth by performing black magic. They would sit inside of graves or stand on one leg throughout the night to please the dark lord. In some extremes, people would even sacrifice certain animals. For example, the mythic animal, the unicorn. People used to believe that by consuming a unicorn’s blood they would stay forever young. None of which is true. Neither does the unicorn exist nor does any such thing as staying forever young. 2. Ancient Times: The ancient Greek, Egyptians and Indians had their own misconceptions regarding ageing and staying forever young. The Greeks and Egyptians thought that using soap for bathing would make their skin age earlier than usual. So they would use baking soda for bathing. The Greek used to think that the use of olive oil instead of typical moisturizer would make their skin healthy and dewy. This can be considered useful because recent studies also claim that the lesser use of chemicals on your skin helps in preserving youthfulness. On the other hand, Indians used sandalwood. They would use it to clean and moisturize their skin. Even today, sandalwood is used in various skin treatments. Indians would always mix sandalwood with other ingredients to make creams and skin care remedies. Studies have shown that sandalwood in its purest form is more effective. 3. Consuming Virgin Blood for Immortality: There was a time in the late 17th century when people believed that consuming the blood of a virgin human would make them immortal. These were people who desperately had the desire to stay young and live forever. They would sacrifice humans for the sake of youthfulness. At that time, people used to think that the witches were real, and that it was these witches that consumed virgin human blood to stay young forever. All these misconceptions and superstitions are now largely forgotten, and thankfully nobody goes out for the search of unicorns or to sacrifice humans to drink virgin blood. These misconceptions were created by people who were desperate to gain youthfulness.

According to eMarketer Inc, over 30% of U.S. based e-commerce sales were made on a mobile device in 2017. They also predict that mobile-based sales will reach a staggering 50% of all online retail sales by 2020! There’s no denying it; consumers have integrated smartphones into every aspect of their shopping experience. From researching potential products, comparing prices at different online stores, to completing the purchase, consumers are using their computers less and their smartphones more. This means you’ll want to begin by evaluating your online business from a mobile-shopper’s perspective. Focus on everything from the design of your shop, the navigation system, right down to a streamlined checkout that is easy to transition through from a mobile device. Let’s take a closer look at what you should pay most attention to when building a mobile-friendly ecommerce website: Mobile Homepage: A mobile user’s shopping experience is quite different from those browsing websites from a desktop computer or laptop where they may have multiple tabs and windows open. This means you must play close attention to your mobile home page, and make sure that mobile users are able to easily navigate the different sections of your website, while also being able to quickly access their shopping cart, or return to the main page at any time. Personalize Site Search The more you can personalize a shopper’s experience, the more likely they are to buy through your website. So, whenever possible, provide recommendations of products that are similar to the ones they’ve purchased previously. And if you’re able to, provide keyword suggestions based on a user’s purchase history in order to point them in the right direction when they are searching for products. Clear Navigation System You also want to make sure that mobile users can quickly browse through different sections of your website regardless of what page they’re on. One of the easiest ways to do this is by providing them with clearly labeled back buttons, as well as a visual progress bar when they are going through the checkout process. Offer Quick & Easy Payment Options It’s important to use quick and easy payment options, as well as ones that customers already use and trust, such as Paypal or Stripe. Simply Checkout Keep the checkout process simple! Your checkout system should only require your customers to fill in the most necessary information, limiting the time and effort involved in completing their purchase. Keep the process to three steps or less whenever possible. Check Your Website Using a Mobile Device You always want to preview your website using mobile devices to see how it looks, and whether it’s easy to navigate. You should also run test purchases for different products so you can experience the checkout experience yourself in order to pinpoint areas in which you could improve a buyer’s experience. If possible, evaluate your website using: An Apple iPad An Apple iPhone An Android Smartphone An Android tablet Look for things like how your product appears on different devices including graphics and overall layout. Test your contact or support page. Run through the checkout process with a single item as well as multiple products and finally, see whether your product images zoom correctly, and that description pages are clear and easy to understand.
