Introduction
In the early days of ecommerce, buying online was heralded as the next big thing. Online stores began cropping up left and right, selling everything from gourmet food to furniture to pet supplies. But the dot?com bust proved that buying offline still has its place, and is in fact preferred by most consumers.
Local businesses breathed a collective sigh of relief when they realized that they didn’t have to worry about being put out of business by companies that sold online. Many also believed that they didn’t have to bother with creating an online presence for their businesses. But it’s becoming more and more apparent that having your business online is imperative if you want to remain competitive, even if your target market is in close proximity.
You see, more and more people are turning to the Internet instead of the Yellow Pages to find the information they need. It’s often much quicker and easier to find businesses online, and you can find out a lot more about them than you could through a Yellow Page ad. Consumers can get reviews, directions from their front door to the business site, and often listings of products and services offered. And while phone books are only updated once a year, online listings can be updated any time a business's information changes, making them more accurate. It’s easy to see why searching online is the method of choice for many shoppers.
Local search takes on several different forms. In this report, you will learn about all the types of local search and how to best take advantage of them.

How to Prepare for the Interview
In order to get the perfect job you have to first pass the interview process and get to the hiring manager. That means you have to know how to conduct yourself at the interview in order to even pass the first stage. There are some places that will hire you directly without going through the hiring manager but you still have to pass the interview process to be hired. Many people just go to an interview and have no idea what they need to do or how to conduct oneself and end up losing the job because of it.
One of the places many people go wrong at interviews is not having a clue about the company or the position. Not all companies ask that question but you have to be prepared. It makes you look foolish if you don’t know anything about the company. They assume if you want to work for them you will take the time to find something out about the company. You do not have to know a great deal, but you should at least know what the company does and the types of products or services they provide.
Before the interview you should also prepare a list of questions you want to ask the interviewer. Most of the time the interviewer will ask if you have any questions, and if you don’t have any, the consensus is that you are not concerned enough to ask any questions rather than that the interviewer covered everything. However, if he or she does not offer the information, you do not ask about the salary at the interview. This is something that is against interview protocol and should never be asked until a job offer is made. Most interviewers will discuss the salary as part of the interview process but if that is not the case, do not ask.
If you are not sure where the company is located, leave extra early for the interview or do a dry run the day before your interview. You want to avoid being late by getting lost, and though this may not be possible if the company is out of town or you are leaving from another job, make every effort to make sure you know exactly where the company is. If you are not sure and cannot leave early from another job, make sure you obtain explicit directions from the company where you are going.

Why Wordpress?
So why choose Wordpress?
You might have heard rumors about Wordpress websites, like for example you may have heard that Google gives priority to these websites. It is fairly certain that search engines give priority to certain websites and blogs, so now that blogging and pinging phase might be losing at least part of it’s effectiveness, now is the time for something new.
There’s strong evidence that Wordpress blogs get better search rankings than other sites. We will explore that in more detail later, but for now just know that there are some search engine advantages to using Wordpress tools.
In some ways this tool is only good for those who understand the importance and advantages of blogging. Blogging is a form of website promotion and information sharing that can have very strong business implications.
Wordpress Blogging
What is the so special about Wordpress? Wordpress is your simple and easy way to set up a blog with minimal programming requirements. Wordpress gives you a plethora of themes, theme resources, and the ability to use images, and various blog designs and layouts. I can elaborate all day about the basic features and benefits of Wordpress, but I have to admit that most of us use Wordpress for one simple reason. We use Wordpress to make money.
Here's a quick example of how Wordpress can change the way you blog forever:
You have a few websites and already are earning some decent money from them so you have a full time programmer on retainer. You've heard about Wordpress and how it would allow you to set up your blogs with little or no effort. You like the idea but don't want to pay the programmer so you decide to tackle it yourself. It's easy to downloaded the pages and open an FTP connection to your website. You then uploaded the documents and set up the database connection. Within minutes, you are working with a Wordpress setup on your website. It was that easy.
You can now set up all the theme, feeds, and template tags you need. All done within an hour. After this, you would simply copy this setup to other websites and change the header information to the match requirements at your other websites. You accomplish all this in less than 30 minutes.
Best of all you didn’t need to take up your programmer’s valuable time.
You can then go on to embed Google Adsense ads and other advertising in the blogs. A few strategically placed links on pages that are already indexed and your blogs are up and running!

Chapter 1: What is Twitter and How Can it Help Me?
Twitter and blogging go hand in hand. It has totally changed the way that people communicate online and it should be an indispensable part of your overall marketing plan for your blog. Twitter is free to join and you can get set up with an account in a matter of just a few minutes.
Twitter has two main components. Just like social networking sites like MySpace or Facebook, you can add "followers" and follow other people as well. They'll receive your updates and you'll receive theirs. Your messages are limited just to 140 characters, which is why some people call it a "microblogging" tool. You have to keep your messages brief and too the point.
Sometimes it's a challenge to get the point across in the allotted space, but it also leaves room for a lot of creativity! Coming up with ways to say what you have to say in that small space is part of the fun of Twitter.
Chapter 2: 4 Ways Twitter Can Help Jumpstart Your Blog Traffic!
Before you set up your account, let's go over a few of the ways that you can use Twitter as a blogger:
1. Getting traffic to your blog posts - With a simple post to Twitter, you can have lots of readers come to your blog.
Even though blog feeds do the same thing, you can often find new readers on Twitter or remind current readers to revisit your blog.

Introduction
In the 1990s, the nascent internet was commonly referred to as the “information superhighway”, a phrase that was coined by Senator Al Gore in 1978 according to most reports.
The funny thing is, even though it seems to be a very dated phrase to modern ears, it is still essentially true. The vast majority of people still use the internet as a source of information first and foremost, and this in itself should be no surprise.
Although this is open to debate, there is probably not a library or museum where there is more information available than there is on the internet, and of course, the internet has the vast advantage over every library and museum of being accessible at your fingertips - but there is no doubt that the nature of the internet is changing, and doing so at a pace that almost defies belief.
For example, while some brave and hardy souls had tried to publish video materials on the internet previously, it was really only with the advent of YouTube that video took off, and that is less than four years ago as I write (YouTube was launched in February 2005).
Yet video is now such an integral part of the everyday internet experience that it is hard to believe that there was a time BV (before video), a time when the internet was all about providing information only in written format accompanied by static images.
Another huge change that has become increasingly evident over the last 3 or 4 years is the boom in business that is being transacted solely through the medium of the internet. From massive monolithic global corporations like Google to people spending their evenings working away in their back bedroom, there are now millions of companies and individuals who are operating a business where they make money from the internet.
This is not new. There were companies making money on the internet back in the ‘information superhighway’ days, which helped to fuel the .com boom and subsequent implosion at the end of the 90s.
But what is new and different is the fact that anyone who has an internet connection and a computer can now start their own internet marketing business quickly, easily and with very little capital outlay.
Indeed, it is the latter fact that is one of the primary attractions of starting a business online, particularly in comparison to starting a ‘real world’ business where you would need offices, computers, telephones and staff.
All of this is before you even start talking about investing money in inventory or stock, training costs and the like.
To start your own online business, all you need is a computer and a connection.
Well, actually, that’s not strictly true…

Chapter 1 - Introduction
Brett was on the all star tennis team in high school with a tennis scholarship waiting for him when it happened to him. Don was a 42 year old city worker who used a jackhammer all of the time for work when it happened to him. Joan was a 30 year old enthusiastic racquetball player when it happened to her. Jim was a 70 year old retiree who enjoyed a golf game more than anything else when it happened to him. Doris was a 35 year old assembly plant worker when it happened to her.
All of these folks live in different parts of the United States. They all come from different background, are of different races and religions. But they all have one thing in common. They all suffer from tennis elbow.
Did you think that tennis elbow only affects tennis players? Think again. This often agonizing condition affects just about anyone who performs repeated movements with their forearms, elbows and wrists. Although the condition is called “tennis elbow,” it really only accounts for about 5 percent of all cases. Anyone who repeatedly uses their arms in the course of a day or in their favorite activity is prone to tennis elbow.
The good news is that despite what you may have heard in the past, you do not have to give up doing your job or favorite activity if you start experiencing the symptoms of tennis elbow. As long as you come up with a comprehensive plan of how to take care of the condition, you can continue to go about your business.

Airline Tickets - Tips for Saving Money
Keep in mind that airline tickets are purchased by practically everyone at some point in their life. You’ll want to think about this when it comes to your next family reunion, wedding, or when you begin to plan your dream vacation.
Figure 2 - Young couple planning their trip
You’ll want to make sure that you think about your airline tickets and what the best options are for you and your family arrangements. You’ll want to consider that there are many different ways for you to find cheap tickets, but you’ll also want to consider that the final choice of tickets is up to you.
Figure 3 – The size of the airport makes a huge difference
Also keep in mind that it all depends on where you live and where it is that you wish to go to. You’ll find that the large cities are vacation hot spots that will allow you to find more specials or discounts.
Also, take into account that the size of the airport makes a huge difference. You will pay more for a small airport. This is because they are not bringing in as many people as some of the bigger airports can.
You’ll find that if you are going from a small city to a big city, it will cost less to depart than it will be to come back. The airport makes a difference.
It is very important that you consult your travel agent, so that they can find you the best deals. You’ll also want to think about your departure times, because they can also help you to save yourself some money.

Introduction
First things first
As soon as you have found out when your last day of employment is, your first priority is to register with JobcentrePlus (even if you think you will have no problem in finding another job soon). You may give advanced notice of your anticipated date of unemployment. This will help ensure that no unnecessary delay occurs before you receive your entitlement to benefits. In the first instance, you should either:
phone JobcentrePlus on 0800 0 55 66 88 (0800 0 23 48 88 for text-phone) to make a new or repeat claim for benefits or
visit your local JobcentrePlus. If you don't know where your nearest one is then open up your Internet connection and go here: tinyurl.com/Job-Centres
(and enter your post code in the search box)
Once you have registered with them you will be entitled to a range of financial benefits and use of their facilities for job hunting too. Don't forget to get in touch with your local council offices to see if you are eligible to pay a reduces rate of council tax whilst unemployed.
If you have any outstanding loans that you may not be able to pay (including mortgages etc.) then contact the lenders as early as possible to arrange easier payments. For example, did you know that it is possible to pay back mortgage lenders just the interest until you get your feet back on the ground. JobcentrePlus may also be able to help advise you too (you may have to be unemployed for a set length of time before being eligible).
If you find it all too much, then make an appointment to visit your local Citizen's Advice Bureau and see their website at:
