Although the new tennis fan may not be able to tell the difference between the courts, the more popularly played surfaces, would include the clay court, the normal looking court and the grass courts. It is important that you know the difference in these types of courts because they will have an impact on how you need to play. Some surfaces are slicker than others and some will allow you to use more spins on your swings. It is important that you practice on all types of tennis courts and become familiar with how to play on each type. One of the things that makes professional tennis players so good at the sport is the fact that they know how to use different types of courts to their advantages. The following chapter will go over the basics when it comes to tennis courts and will provide you with some important information pertaining to tennis courts. All about Tennis Courts If you are new to tennis and are not familiar with tennis courts it would probably be a good idea for you to learn a little bit about them before trying to just jump straight into a game. Different types of courts will require you to play differently. The following are some examples of important information to keep in mind about tennis courts. Court sizes, coating surfaces, court materials, fence material and building material usually follow the guidelines laid out by the American Sports Builders Association. Asphalt base courts feature a type of surface that has a compacted stone base, with proper drainage incorporated. This is an important element that will promote the longevity of the court’s surface. The amount of stone and asphalt used is variable and usually depends on the individual’s requirements at the site. On an asphalt overlay court there is usually a measurement of two inches of asphalt placed over the existing court surface after a layer of paving fabric has been laid, as this will help to bridge the old and new surfaces. When in the process of building a tennis court, the weather conditions play an important role, thus there is a need to be sure the court is built during favorable weather conditions. Failing to observe this very important condition may create future problems, when the court’s surface becomes problematic. The painting and leveling processes also require a lot of attention, as this contributes directly to the playing aspect of the game. If the wrong quality of paint is used, the reflection and distorted impression of the surface that is perceived by the naked eye can be very disconcerting for the players using the court. Most players are very sensitive to any off balance in the surface of the court, which will also usually cost them when they are unable to get comfortable enough to play a good game. Chapter 3: How to Choose the Right Racquet Synopsis Buying a tennis racquet can be a rather confusing exercise, mainly due to the vast variety available in the market today. This is even more difficult, when there is no advice forthcoming in the form of a personal coach or a more experienced player. However all is not lost, as by following are few guidelines almost anyone will be able to make a more informed purchase. It is extremely important that you have some knowledge about the different types of racquets before you go out and make a purchase. The reason for this is the fact that some tennis racquets can be very expensive. The last thing you want to do is waste your money and purchase a tennis racquet that you do not like. The following chapter will go over some basic information that you should keep in mind when shopping around for a tennis racquet. Choose the Right Racquet It is important that you are aware of the fact that there are many different types of racquets on the market and each one is built to be played with a certain way and for a certain type of person. You need to be aware of a few things before you decide to purchase a tennis racquet to make sure that you are making a wise purchase. Buying a tennis racquet can be a rather confusing exercise, mainly due to the vast variety available in the market today. This is even more difficult, when there is no advice forthcoming in the form of a personal coach or a more experienced player. However all is not lost, as by following are few guidelines almost anyone will be able to make a more informed purchase. The following are a few tips on how to purchase a suitable and comfortable tennis racquet to suit an individual’s needs: Seniors and females should ideally focus on purchasing a racquet that can provide added power as these categories of people usually have slower and less powerful contact swings. Therefore, getting a racquet that is light weight and perhaps has a slightly oversized head is better than using one that is longer and head heavy. The intermediate player who is a little more skilled at the game may require a little less power form the racquet, thus needing one that has enhanced maneuverability. Here the ideal racquet should have a midplus head with a more extended length. As for the more advanced to high level players, the racquets should ideally be heavier in weight and have smaller and more balanced heads, thinner beams and better control. The general rule of thumb would be the heavier the racquet, the more power and stability it will be able to generate. This will also help to lessen the transmission of shock when in contact with the ball. As for the lighter version of the tennis racquet, it may be easier to swing and maneuver, however may not give the player the added power to create any forceful play action. The grip of the racquet should also be one that allows the player to be both comfortable and in control of the general direction the ball flight takes. If the grips are unsuitable, these can be changed at the request of the player. One thing that you want to consider doing is trying many different types of racquets before you actually make a purchase on one. As stated before, there are many different types of racquets on the market. The best way to find the racquet that is best for you would be to try it before you buy it and find one that is comfortable in your hands and fits your budgets. Do not be one of the people who assume that the most expensive racquet is the best racquet. While it may be true that the more expensive racquets will often times be better than the cheaper ones, you can still find tennis racquets at a reasonable price that will still be very beneficial for your tennis game.

Table of Contents Foreword Chapter 1: What is the Game of Golf all about? Chapter 2: Get Your Golf Gear Ready Chapter 3: All the Rules of the Game Chapter 4: The Importance of Building Your Swing Wrapping Up Sample Content Preview Chapter 2: Get Your Golf Gear Ready Synopsis No matter what your level of skill is when it comes to golf, if you do not have the proper gear it will almost surely have a negative effect on your game. It can be hard to choose the right gear though, especially with all of the different choices there are and all of the advancements that have been made in golf gear technology. However, there are some simple guidelines that you can follow that will surely make you more confident when you are purchasing your golf equipment. Golf gear does not only pertain to clubs. There are many different types of gear that can greatly improve your golf game. Some examples would include different types of balls, gloves, swing analyzers and even the type of tee that you use and how deep you plant it. Some people would even swear on the fact that golf cleats are extremely important in their game. You may not know where to begin and that is quite understandable. The important thing to remember is the fact that you will need different types of gear depending on your level of skill and how serious you are about golfing. Basically, a professional is going to need a lot more gear than a novice who is just trying to fill idle time. The following chapter will go over the importance of choosing the right gear and will provide you with some basic guidelines that will help you to make sure that you get the right gear. Selecting the Right Golf Gear There is one thing that is certain about purchasing golfing gear, it is not cheap. You can find gear that will not break your bank but that still does not mean that you want to buy the wrong gear and waste your money. There is a lot that goes into making decisions when purchasing your gear, it is not just buying what you think looks the coolest. The following are some guidelines that you should follow when you are purchasing golf gear: • Purchase for Your Level of Skill It is very important that you know your level of skill when you are planning on purchasing golf gear. A lot of people would think that a beginner would need more gear in order to have a good golf experience. This is not the case, in fact beginners actually need much less gear than those with higher levels of skill. This is due to the fact that beginners are still getting a feel for the game and have not mastered their swing yet. There is no point in buying all kinds of gear if you do not have the basics down yet. It is advised that beginners start with a set that includes about two or three woods and a handful of drivers. You will also want to make sure that you have a pitching and a sand wedge as well as a putter. This will take care of the golfer’s basic needs to play the game. Once the golfer is able to use these clubs correctly it is time to start adding to the set. One thing that a beginner golfer should consider purchasing is a golf swing analyzer. This analyzer will tell you where you can improve on your swing and offer you the option to instantly review your swings. • Try Custom Gear There are many people who choose to buy standardized sets when purchasing golf gear. This may not be the best option for you. Custom gear may be a better approach for you, In fact, many people who use custom gear say that it drastically improved their golf game. This is due to the fact that standardized sets are made for an average size person whereas custom made gear is built specifically for you. If you are serious about getting into golf you should seriously consider getting custom gear. However, if you don’t plan on spending that much time playing golf you may want to stick to the standard sets. Custom gear can be very expensive since it is measured and cut to your request so it should really only be purchased by those who plan on golfing a lot. • Try Bigger Drivers Have you ever noticed how the drivers that you see in commercials and in magazines by the professionals look enormous? Well the reason for this is the fact that they are actually quite large in size. Having a larger driver head offers more room for forgiveness. Basically this means that if you do not swing correctly and miss your shot your ball has a better chance of at least staying in bounds. While bigger can be better when it comes to drivers, at a certain point the forgiveness level starts to level out and will not make much of a difference. Some people prefer slightly smaller heads on their drivers while some choose to go for the slightly larger heads. You will need to try both and see what style you like best. • Choose the Right Balls While choosing the right type of golf ball for your play style is very important it is also important to remember not to spend too much money when purchasing golf balls. It does not matter how expensive your golf balls are, if you do not have the skill to back it up you will see no improvement in your game. As well, many people would agree with the fact that if you know how to properly swing your club, you will not really notice all that much of an improvement. Basically, do not go overboard on golf balls but stay away from the cheapest ones on the shelf. • Take Lessons Believe it or not, taking lessons is actually part of your golf gear. Lessons will help you just as much as the rest of your gear, if not more! Do not be shy or embarrassed to take lessons, everyone has to start somewhere. You can find lessons at decent prices and in some cases even free. Chapter 3: All the Rules of the Game Synopsis As with anything else in life, it is important that you are following the rules why you are playing golf. Following the rules will provide you with a pleasant experience and will likely lead to you making a few new golf friends. On the other hand, not following the rules will likely lead to a negative experience and will definitely not lead to you making any new friends at a golf course. Golf course rules and golf rules in general are extremely important to follow. These rules have been set in place for a reason. Some of these rules have been created in order to ensure that you remain safe during your golfing experience. Other rules are in place to make sure that the game is played fairly and correctly. Some rules are even designed to ensure that everyone else on the course has a good time along with you and that your game does not interfere with theirs. The following chapter will go over some of the basic rules of golfing. Remember, it is important that you are familiar with these rules before you choose to go hit a course. Basic Rules of Golfing Just like with any other sport, there are a lot of rules that go along with playing a round of golf. However, if we were to discuss every rule of golf we would be here for days! Most of the rules of golf can be learned while playing the game. The basic rules are the ones that are most important to learn first. These are the rules that ensure proper gameplay and safety as well as proper etiquette. The following are some examples of the basic rules of golfing. You will be provided with some do’s and don’ts on what to do while you are playing golf. Remember, following these rules will make your golfing experience much more safe and entertaining. • Be on Time Almost all golf courses will require you to schedule a tee off time before playing a round of golf. Make sure that you schedule this time for a time that you will be available and leave yourself about thirty minutes of extra time in case something comes up. The golf course staff will not wait long before skipping you on the tee off list if you are not there on time since other golfers will be waiting to play. In most cases, you have to pay green fees when you schedule your tee off time so not being there will result in a waste of money. This can be especially frustrating for a group when one person does not show as it can ruin all of their plans of having a fun day golfing. • Keep a Steady Pace It is important to keep in mind that other golfers are likely waiting for you to finish your hole so that they may tee off. For this reason it is important that you do not take too much time on a hole. If you are having difficulty finishing a hole and golfers are waiting for you it is the courteous thing to do to move off to the side and let them play through before you continue. One way to avoid this situation is to try and schedule your tee off time for a time that you know that they course is not busy until you better your golf game. This is probably the better option for beginner golfers anyways.

It is also usually a sign of a flabby core, and flabby muscles are weak and more prone to injury. Heredity Some causes of back pain can have a genetic component and run in families. Various health issues Some types of arthritis and cancer can cause back pain. Osteoporosis, a thinning of the bones, can also result in hairline fractures, bone spurs and other structural changes that can cause back pain. Smoking tobacco Smokers with bone injuries heal around twice as slowly as non-smokers. One of the reasons may be that they do not circulate enough nutrients in the body to be able to heal bones and support good back health. As they age, their bones can become so brittle that smoker’s cough can trigger back pain and even injury. Your job If you have to lift, push, or pull often in your job, you are more at risk for injury. Many companies offer their workers braces to support the spine, but they need to be worn correctly in order to do any good. If you sit at a desk all day and do not sit up straight, you may also get back pain. This will most commonly be in the lower part of the back, since this takes so much pressure and weight when you are sitting, but it can also occur in the neck, shoulders and middle of the back as well. Lower back pain is one of the most common causes of pain, poor quality of life and lost productivity in the workplace. Chronic back pain can affect every area of your life, including work, sleep, sex, caring for your children, and more. Fortunately, there are a range of ways to prevent back issues, and to treat them if they do arise. These include natural remedies, medications, and in extreme cases, surgery. The treatments will depend on the cause of the pain. Sometimes the cause is very obvious, such as an injury. In other cases, the pain is real, but might require a process of elimination to determine where it is coming from and why. Doctors try to classify the pain in terms of type and location in order to try to track down the cause and give effective treatment. Let’s look at different kinds of back pain in the next chapter. Different types of back pain Back pain will be classified as upper, middle and lower. They will also indicate whether or not the pain is on the left or the right. This can give a clue as to which of the many causes of back pain might be contributing to a patient’s issue. The causes of back pain can be broadly classified as relating to: Structure Muscle pain Nerve pain Inflammation, such as is caused by arthritis Three common classifications of back pain include: Axial pain This is also referred to as mechanical pain, and is usually the result of a muscle sprain or strain. It can be dull or sharp. Referred pain Referred pain moves around from location to location. It is associated with age-related changes to the spine and can be described as dull and achy. Radicular pain This is nerve pain that will often radiate outwards along the path of the affected nerve and can cause the arm or leg to become numb or weak. The pain is described as searing. This pain can result from a number of different causes, including: Compression of the nerve inflammation Injury to a spinal nerve root. Sciatica (SIGH-attic-ah) is the most common form of radicular pain. The main causes of sciatica are: a herniated disc-a disc that has rupture and might be pressing on the nerve degenerative disc disease, that is, the results of an aging spine spinal stenosis-that is, narrowing of the spine spondylolisthesis-one of the vertebrae slips forward onto the bone below it, causing the nerve to become compressed or pinched Sciatic pain can generate from the back down to the hip and thigh. In some cases, it might even go as far down as the big toe. This will depend on which vertebrae is affecting it. For example, if the Lumbar 3 (L3) disc is affecting it, the pain will generate down to the buttocks and perhaps the thigh. If the L% is affected, the pain could go all the way down the leg to the big toe. Therefore, diagnostic imaging will be important to determine the condition of the spine and the placement of the discs.

Attraction Marketing PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview: WHAT IS ATTRACTION MARKETING? Attraction marketing may be the buzz word that is out there commonly heard by most Internet marketers. Yet, what does this mean? As an Internet marketer, you do need to know what this type of marketing is as it will likely be one of the most important, profitable tools you have in low cost online marketing that is highly effective. First, understand what it is and then learn how to implement it within your own business. Most business owners can find success using this method to help them to develop their online business. It works in any sector, industry or niche. When applied effectively, it is a low cost, long term success tool no marketer should go without. WHAT IS IT? The short definition of what attraction marketing is may seem too simple. It is simply a term that means that the Internet marketer uses the Internet to help attract people to the business they are in. To take this to another level, attraction marketing can be defined as bringing people to you rather than going after them. The best way to see this is to take a look at the opposite method, the way that most print or "non online" advertising is done. In traditional advertising, countless dollars are spent to find the consumer most likely to invest in the product or service. Billboards are placed along freeways for radio stations, for example, since people listen to the radio most often in the car. Advertisements go to the most likely consumer rather than the consumer coming to the product directly for a need. In attraction marketing, the consumer comes to you and your product or service because they have heard that it is something that can benefit them, in some way. Ultimately, this allows for the business to do well since the advertisements are being presented in a pleasant manner. Internet marketing is not often about catchy slogans and flashy ads. Rather, it is a method of bringing people in to information, products and services because they are already interested. Mastering this can help a business to grow quickly. THE QUESTION IS: DOES IT WORK? Does attraction marketing work? The short answer to this question is yes, but there are plenty of fantastic examples of how it works. One good one is to consider the election of Mr. Obama. Regardless of whether you are from the U.S. or not, and no matter what side of the ticket you were rooting for, one thing has to be said. Mr. Obama's ability to use Internet marketing, including attraction marketing methods, helped him win this election, according to many professionals. Obama used the various tools in Internet marketing to help him to win his election because he and his campaign moreover knew the importance and success it could bring. The world goes to the web to learn what it needs to, in today's culture. More so, the Internet provides an easy, affordable way to reach millions of people every single day. No other medium offers this. The question is, how did Obama use attraction marketing to win the Presidential Election of the United States? Using attraction marketing tools, websites, and even things like GoogleAds helped him to make it happen. In fact, Twitter.com was used by Mr. Obama as one of the many methods of attraction marketing he used. By gaining a huge following and communicating through them in short clips, he could converse with everyday people, put his message out and do it all without spending a penny for it. Another example of this is Facebook. Everyone on the web knows that Facebook.com is a heaven for younger generation individuals who like to find each other and chat. The trend has grown. In fact, businesses, politicians, and even employers are using it as a tool to connect with others. Mr. Obama's Facebook page was yet another form of attraction marketing that helped him to get his message out. As you can see, there are excellent ways that attraction marketing works. For most of the general public, you aren't trying to win the presidential election. Nevertheless, this tool can still be used to help virtually anyone to gain success in getting traffic to their website. APPLYING ATTRACTION MARKETING METHODS TO YOUR BUSINESS Any Internet marketer can apply the lessons learned to their own Internet business. There are three main parts to developing a successful attraction marketing campaign, but the good news is that none of them are difficult, costly or overly time consuming. Here, we'll explore these three parts and find out how you can put them to use no matter what type of Internet marketing business you have. In short, they are as follows: 1. Consumers find you, your products or services on the web. 2. Consumers allow you to contact them. 3. You provide consumers with information they can use and benefit from, through email, and keep your business in front of them all the time. To better understand how to do this, keep reading. PART 1: CONSUMERS FIND YOU The first step in the process is to get people to find you online. Remember, with attraction marketing, they are coming to you. You are not going out searching for them and advertising directly. So, how do you get more people to find you online? WEBSITE DESIGN FIRST There are several ways to accomplish this. First, the ultimate first step is to have a useful website and/or blog where you can talk with, work with and interact with your visitors. You will need to ensure it is information based rather than a sales gimmick. Online, sales gimmicks, long sized sales letters are less likely to work than other methods of marketing, especially in attraction marketing. Make sure your website tells visitors that you are providing a service to them, information to them and not a sales ad to convince them to buy. ARTICLE DIRECTORIES Next, you will need to get your information out there. For example, develop excellent articles and detailed outlines related to your business or product and then get it out into the mainstream. You can post them on various article directories. The benefit of doing this is two-fold. Due to the extreme popularity of many of these websites, Google ranks articles quickly there and many get first page Google results if they are optimized properly. This means that when someone looking for information on a product or service you are offering searches for it in Google, chances are good your article will pop up as a result. Another benefit is that quality article directories work for what their intended purpose is. That purpose is to allow webmasters to pick up these articles (with your resource box on them) and use them on their websites or in their blogs. Their readers instantly get to read what you are talking about and they can click on the link and take it back to your website where they can buy what you are offering. Yet another extension of this is the ability to get that golden back link to your website. This alone helps to boost your website's ranking in Google's search engines, and in other search engines. The more back links pointing into your website, the more people will find you and the better Google ranks your website. And, all you have done is write an article. SOCIAL NETWORKING WEBSITES From this point, there are many other ways to build that successful attraction marketing. One of the most attractive, enjoyable ways to get your business out there is, in fact, to talk about it! Social networking is what it sounds like. It is a method of communicating with others about anything you want to, really. Most social networking websites where not started to help businesses to grow, but most of them are able to be used this way. Going back to our example, Mr. Obama used many of them to get to his people.

Increase your presence on the Internet with associated, hidden benefits. 6. Create a trusting relationship between your customers/potential customers and yourself. 7. Bring customers to you! Now with all of those benefits, it is easy to simply stop reading now, rush off, and create your own newsletter, and then sit back, waiting for all of the good things to happen. Now, here is the bad news: if you don’t write a great electronic newsletter, but one that is simply average and lacks any proper, appropriate content and graphics, then your newsletter will demonstrate that your company is not very professional, hasn’t taken the time to learn how to create a good/great newsletter, and as a result, make customers wonder why they should use your company? They would prefer to go to a company that shows them some respect! HAVE A LOT OF RESPECT FOR YOUR READERS Although we usually talk about ‘Have a little respect’ when it comes to your customers, you need to have not just a ‘little’ respect, you need to have a lot of respect for your readers and potential readers; otherwise, your newsletter will simply be thrown into the trash bin and not be read. People have busy lives. We all have to work hard, to cope with changing, and often, quite difficult times. This means that people’s time is precious, so they will make or find the time to read good quality material that is relevant and of interest to them, but they will not make any time available to read a newsletter that fails to address them appropriately. This is why respect is so important when it comes to your readers. Know Your Readers Knowing your readers shows them respect. All you have to do is to take a little time to know who they are, what is of interest to them, and what will reach them directly. One fundamental error that is often made is to use an electronic newsletter as a platform for views or as a mouthpiece, serving only the writer and not the reader. But your readers are not dumb; they will soon pick up on this and press that delete key before they have finished the first paragraph. So you have to get to know them. Now this may seem like an impossible challenge; if you want to send your electronic newsletter out to hundreds, if not thousands, of customers, then how can you possibly ‘know’ them? Well, you don’t have to know their birthdays or what they like to eat at Thanksgiving, but what you do need to know is what will interest them. What kind of information are they looking for? Do they need to have legal updates? Is there any legislation that may impact on their businesses or lives that you need to be telling them about? You also need to consider what they will appreciate in terms of how you and your business can help them. Are there any hidden benefits to using your business? Can you solve some of the complexities of life for them? Are there any direct benefits that your particular style of business can bring to them? Only when you know your readers and can have a good understanding of what they want are you in a position to start thinking about the style and the content of your electronic newsletter. True, this can be a daunting task, but if you are struggling with it, then enlist the help of a friend/colleague who can ensure that you are on the right track: remember that two heads are always better than one! CHOOSING THE STYLE OF YOUR NEWSLETTER The style and look of your newsletter is important and one that should not be overlooked. Basically, your style needs to reflect the fact that this is a professional document, not some high school newsletter (many of which actually look pretty professional now). You need to establish a corporate style in the newsletter, no matter how small your business actually is. Each newsletter needs to be set out in the same style, be written in the same style and have the same format. This ensures that the identity of the newsletter starts to emerge, so that when it pops up in someone’s inbox, they immediately recognize it as a ‘good read’ and will open it. If you write using different logos, graphics that change dramatically, and so on, then your newsletter may never ever be opened. The trick is to stay consistent! Graphics: Graphics are really important when it comes to your newsletters. Many writers of electronic newsletters have taken the time to get to know and directly target their readers, have written content that is professional, relevant and interesting, but let themselves down by using clip-art-type graphics that are simply not sophisticated enough for today’s market. Graphics are important because they can highlight your point, break up a page of text that may seem too heavy and dull otherwise, and simply brighten up a page. But using cheap, rudimentary graphics can simply ‘dumb down’ your newsletter and make it seem cheap. It is far better to use some pictures or images that are more professional looking, even if they cost a few dollars. Yet there is another danger with graphics: if you use a lot of images at a high resolution, then your electronic newsletter can start to become really big. So big in fact that people will delete it rather than bother to read it, so try to keep your electronic newsletter to a realistic size, some 1-2 megabytes maximum. If you get up to 5-6 megabytes or bigger, then people may simply view it as too big and send it to the electronic trash can, no matter how good your content is. Layout: Always place the most important information at the start of your electronic newsletter. So have a title for your first article that really grabs people’s attention. Make sure it is short enough for them to be able to se it before opening your mail; therefore, keep it brief. Your first page should also contain certain important information, such as your contact details, as well as an option to stop subscribing to the newsletter. Now doesn’t that seem strange? You want people to read your fantastic electronic newsletter, don’t you? So why on Earth would you want to make it really easy for them to stop subscribing to it? Well, if you show that you are really laid back about someone unsubscribing to your newsletter, then you have not just shown that you respect your readers, you also show that you think that the content of your newsletter is of worth; you have made it easy to unsubscribe because you know that people will not do this, that your newsletter is worth reading! Obviously, there may be some people who feel that they don’t want to read your newsletter and may indeed unsubscribe, but do not have a faint heart. It is definitely worth taking the risk and being confident. So let them unsubscribe if they don’t want to read it; after all it is their loss, isn’t it?

How To Use Your Blog To Generate Leads PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview: WHY A BLOG CAN GENERATE LEADS A blog is a fantastic tool. Think of it as a tool, a tool you can use to get leads to any type of business you may have. Blogs are tools that need to be in use regularly to keep them working for you. They do not do the work for you, but they do help you to accomplish some of the hardest aspects of your job: getting leads and getting sales from them. No matter what you may be selling or promoting, a blog is a tool to enable you to get those leads. Since there are millions of potential customers available to you online, you likely want to attract as many of them as possible to your website, where you can promote your product or service and get sales. Websites can be difficult to manage and they often leave the customer with an impersonal feel. Here are a few problems with websites, in general: Most websites are not changing The home page gives great information and the rest of the pages help to sell the item. This is usually a good thing, but can keep search engines at bay and limit the personality of the website. Websites make it difficult for you to communicate with your readers You can only communicate through email, rather than the easy and helpful communication of comments. Websites can only be bookmarked so many times One time on each page is not enough to help with most social ranking. Websites are expensive Yes, expensive to manage - especially if you plan to have many pages of content available to the consumer. For many, blogs are more enjoyable and even easier to manage than a standard website Even if you do not know any HTML, you can run your own blog. For all of these reasons, it is often a good decision to incorporate the use of a blog to help you with lead generation. Any type of business can use a blog. You can even start out with a free blog, one that you do not have to invest any money in whatsoever. HOW TO GET STARTED If you have never used a blog in the past, it may be best to start a free blog from one of the popular blogging resources available online. The two more popular options are Blogger.com and WordPress.com Both of these are very easy to use and they allow you to get started literally in minutes. Later, you can invest in paid blogging programs once you learn a bit about how to use them and how to personalize them for your business. The benefits of blogging are many. Keep these things in mind when you set out to establish your blog. Blogging gives you constant new pages that search engines like Google love. This is a fantastic reason to incorporate a blog into your business because it is an easy way to get regular search engine ranking benefits that websites often keep limiting. While blogging is easy enough to do, keep in mind that it does take a regular commitment. If you do not have the ability or time to manage your blog, there is help available. Many professional bloggers ghost write blogs for individuals. You can hire someone to do this type of work rather inexpensively. Communicating through a blog is essential. It is a much less formal way of speaking to others, and it does require a lot of commitment on your part. Not only do you need to keep posts going, but you also have to keep the dialogue going too! This can be rather difficult to do in some respects. Getting to chat with consumers is not something many people like to do. Now that you know a few of the important aspects of blogging, it is time to get it in place. Once you have registered your blog and you have established a web presence for it (depending on the method you will be blogging on, you may need to have hosting set up) it is time to start posting. What will you talk about? To generate leads to your website, you will want to create blog posts that somehow, even indirectly, relate back to your website's topic and overall goals. For example, let us say you have a website selling dog products. Your blog should be dog (or at least pet) related. When you do this, you display your skills in this way and you establish yourself as an expert in the field. Do you need to be an expert to get sales and traffic? In most cases, the answer to this is yes simply because people look for people they can count on to buy from. If you are not an expert, why would they want to buy from you? Start planning a few posts! HOW TO DRIVE TRAFFIC WITH A BLOG With your blog in place, the next step in the process is simple: get traffic to the blog so that you can move the traffic to your website. If people get to your blog, they are already highly targeted leads. When they get to your website, they are often times ready to buy. This is, of course, only if you can get traffic to the blog. Here are some of the most important ways to increase traffic to your blog, and in exchange, get traffic to your website where you are selling or promoting items. SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION Throughout your blog, you will need to invest in search engine optimization. This does not have to be labor intensive, hard to do or something you have to research extensively to get right. Like any other website, a blog needs to have the most appropriate keywords placed throughout it, so that search engines can find the site and rank it appropriately. Keywords are the words you (and those interested in your topic) are most likely to type into a search engine to get to your website. These words most accurately describe your website's topic. To learn which words are most appropriate, use a free keyword research tool to help you. These are available throughout the web, including at Google's website and WordTracker.com. Type in a few words associated with your website. In our earlier example of dog products, your may have keywords like: dog accessories, dog clothing, dog training, dog collars, pet clothing, house training dogs, and so on. You will receive words that people most often punch into the search engine when they are looking at this information. It is essential to have appropriate keywords throughout your website since this helps Google and other search engines to find your website and to rank it well. HOW TO USE KEYWORDS Once you know what these keywords are, what do you do with them? Here are some ways you will want to include keywords in your blog to attract search engines appropriately. Use keywords in each of the blog posts you put up. Keywords should not have overuse in any post. Try to keep keywords under 2 or 3 percent of any post. Use a keyword in the title of each blog post: this is key to search engine ranking! Try to incorporate a keyword in the first 90 characters of the blog post you are writing.

Build A Responsive Mailing List PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview: SECRETS TO RESPONSIVE LISTS Every online marketer understands that the best way to generate sales is to have a large email list of subscribers. After they build that list, however, many marketers begin to recognize that the list is large, but it doesn't function to create sales. That's because it wasn't built with the idea of creating a responsive list, and instead focused on quantity instead of quality. The time to start building the right type of list is just as you get started, but even if you've already got a list, you can still tweak your business processes to get a better response after the fact. PAY ATTENTION TO HOW YOU CREATE THAT LIST The biggest secret isn't that you need a huge number of people on the list, but that you want a better conversion of subscribers to customers. You can do this by paying attention to how you are creating the list, how you are marketing it, and what is actually happening when you send out an offer. Here are some basic things you should know about a responsive mailing list. Buying email addresses doesn't work For the most part, you can buy thousands of emails on another person's contact list and still generate very poor sales. The secret to creating a good list is to build one up naturally and organically so that people have a good relationship with you and your business. Single opt-ins can be fooled You may put out an opt-in list and be congratulating yourself on the number of sign-ups, that is, until you find out many are fakes or generated by online bots. Learn how to use a double opt-in strategy to build a better list. Targeted demographics are better than niches Demographics tell you the reasons why people buy, while niches just assume everyone on your list is interested. You will have better luck by understanding the psychology of your list, rather than just relying on categoric niches, for email marketing. Automate what you can There are plenty of products and services to help streamline your online business. There's no reason why you should be struggling with responding to each and every email, unless there is some reason for personally responding. Learning about the technologies and tools available can save you valuable time and increase your bottom line. People do have a price It's up to you to figure out what that price is. It may be that they are willing to subscribe if you give them a free short report. It might be that they will do it to enter a contest. It might be that they will reply to an email when they see a savings in a product they like or when they get your personal attention. Pay attention and do what works for you. ORGANIC IS BETTER Organic, or naturally occurring lists, generally are quite a bit more responsive than lists created by buying email addresses from other marketers. The reasons for this are that bought lists can contain a number of bad email addresses or contain people on them who are getting so much email from other marketers, that they ignore everything as spam. One last reason, and the biggest reason, to use organic lists is that you can be liable for sending email to an address that hasn't opted in to having their email published. When you build your own organic lists, you know that the person has specifically requested to subscribe to your list and are genuinely interested in either you or your business. WAYS TO CREATE ORGANIC LISTS In this age of social networking, you will find that it isn't as hard as it used to be to create an organic list. People are networking more and more online, and all you need to figure out is how to put the power of the Internet at your fingertips. Don't just put an opt-in form on your website and expect that using that simple action will generate a large organic list for you. People will still have to find your site, and if your traffic is low, this can be a major stumbling block. The solution is to not just advertise your opt-in on your site, but to do it elsewhere where traffic that is interested in your niche congregates. That's where social networking comes into play. Get in the habit of building an online presence on various social networking sites. You will have to post a profile and start networking with people on these sites to hook into potential customers. Once you have them interested in either who you are or some common interests (related to what you market), you can start posting updates or links to things that you want to promote to get traffic from these sites back to your opt-in offers. PLACES TO NETWORK ONLINE www.facebook.com Facebook has a very crisp, business-like interface that helps you to maintain a more professional image for your profile. Join groups, network with likeminded people, or even advertise within Facebook. It's a great way to find demographics very quickly. www.twitter.com For people who don't have enough time to put up a full profile, just hop onto Twitter. Using 140 characters in each update, you can build up a quick following without too much time involved. www.linkedin.com This is more of a business directory, but also a great place to network. DEMOGRAPHICS ARE KEY Internet marketers will tell you that when you go to set up a website or online business, you have to pick a hot niche. That is completely true, as without a hot niche, you have less chance of generating enough traffic to make good sales. However, when you go to market that niche via email lists, you will find that you will need to market to demographics more than to a niche. In other words, you will want to focus on getting up close and personal with your prospective buyers, instead of just assuming that they want to buy your products because they signed up to your list. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? Demographics are typically segregated into a few marketing categories: gender, age, income bracket, ethnicity, and education level. Of course, you can set up any number of demographic variables to help you market to your niche, but these are pretty standard. Just knowing several of these demographics about who is visiting your site can substantially help you to increase the responsiveness of your list. How? The trick is to send emails that talk personally to a specific group's needs and provides that demographic with solutions to the problems that they see day to day. For instance, say you are marketing laptops. You want a demographic of college-aged students or business professionals who require this piece of equipment. You may also find that they need to be within a specific income bracket. You can put up surveys on your site and reward people for identifying who they are and what demographic they fall into. After that, you take that information and you set up different lists. The one with college-aged students gets emails on how laptops can help them to complete assignments in between class or to take their studies with them anywhere. The email that goes to business people may target people who are in their cars (like real estate agents) or who spend a lot of time travelling for business. In that case, the biggest benefit is that it will increase their work productivity as they get the essentials of their business travel done. SPLIT YOUR MAILING LISTS INTO DEMOGRAPHICS Once you start to figure out why people are buying, you can start to separate people into different mailing lists, according to their demographics. You can set up one list for 18- to 25-year olds and another for those over 30. Next time you want to send out a promotion for a particular product or service, you will have a good idea what psychological triggers work best with either list. TECHNOLOGY TO TRACK RESPONSIVENESS Once you start building mailing lists for marketing purposes, you will find that there are tools and services out there to help simplify the process. There's no reason why you have to learn how to build a responsive mailing list from scratch when you can use the tools and services provided by others. Just make sure that they are simplifying your life and not complicating it. Here are some tools or services that can help you do just that, while encouraging your subscribers to be more responsive.

Effective Internet Marketing Sales Page PLR Ebook

Ebook Sample Content Preview: HOW EFFECTIVE SALES PAGES WORK For those Internet marketers who have steady traffic coming to their websites but lack sales, it may be in the delivery where the problem exists. A sales page is the medium you can use to convert visitors into paying customers. It is common for many Internet marketers to struggle at this point. They have worked hard to build up their traffic and they feel that that should be enough. The problem is, people are still too easily able to leave the website. They have not learned what is in it for them. A sales page can help you to do this. There are several ways to use a sales page. One of the most effective methods is to develop one page for each product you are selling on your website. For example, if you have four different eBooks you are promoting, you could develop a sales page for each one. When visitors get to your website, they are able to follow links to get to the sales page of the eBook they are interested in. You can also create sales pages that work as landing pages in that visitors will come directly to this page in order to learn more about the product or products you are offering, and hopefully, purchase them. There are several key benefits to using sales pages: 1. They have a sales message that is usually frowned upon when used on most other forms of Internet marketing, especially in social marketing areas. 2. They present your product in a direct way. People know what the product is. 3. They aid you in letting the customer know what is in it for them. People want to know what they are getting from your product before they buy. 4. They give specific detail of what is included in the product or service that you are offering. These details will win the readers of the sales page over. 5. They ask for the sale: do not forget this part! DOING THE WRITING? Most people cringe at the idea of writing sales copy. Most people do not have the ability to write this type of copy without first learning how to do so. You have several options. You can invest the time needed to learn how to write sales pages. This is highly recommended if you will be writing many of them. The good news is that there are many resources available both online and offline that can help you to learn this skill. Tutorials online are specifically helpful since they are designed to help you learn how to write sales copy for the Web in particular. Another option you have is to hire someone to do the work for you. Professional copywriters for the Web are readily available. You will need to pay a decent amount of money for their services, but this can help to make the process a bit easier. DOING IT JUST ONE TIME One thing to keep in mind when you have multiple products to offer on your website is that you can create a basic template of a sales page to use and then customize it for each of the products you have. For example, the structure, the pictures, and even some of the headlines can remain the same from one product to the next. The difference is simply in the wording. Customizing pages in this method is actually quite easy to do. With some basic copywriting skills, you will be well on your way to developing sales pages that convert traffic. WRITING YOUR OWN Let's assume that you have a decent understanding of what sales copy is. You understand that this is the type of content that is designed to sell the product or service you are selling. Whereas on other areas of your website you will be using a non-sales tone, this is the location where you need to sell. There is no reason not to write your own sales copy once you understand what it is. Take some time to review quality sales pages at other websites online. You can even search some of your competitors’ websites to get an idea of what is available. The question to ask yourself: Does this page convince you to buy the product or service? Now, learn what it takes to write the best sales pages for Internet marketing. COMPONENTS OF EFFECTIVE SALES PAGES As you set out to write a sales page for Internet marketing businesses you may own, keep in mind that every page is different. From one company to the next, you will find differences. However, most contain a similar structure. In this section, we discuss what is called the components of effective sales pages, or the parts that make them up. While you do have some leeway in what you include and in the layout of the page, the most effective pages have several key aspects to them. Even if you hire a professional copywriter to do this work or you do the work yourself, it is important to check over the final piece to make sure that it delivers in these areas. Writing a long, rambling page is not going to win over your readers any more than a long-winded sales person wins you over at the local car dealership! THE HEADLINES Headlines are a bit more complex than you may think. They are actually comprised of various types of headlines. An initial headline, called a pre-headline, is used to attract your target market. This headline is specifically able to tell your readers that you have something that they want and need. A secondary headline is the main headline. This headline is an important part of your sales page. It should be in larger font than anything else on the page. You do not want anything else on your sales page to pull away from this main headline. Specifically, the main headline is designed to tell the reader what the main benefit you are offering is. The third headline is an optional one. It is in a smaller font, located under the main headline. The goal of it is to give some clarification to the main headline or to elaborate on it when it is necessary to do so. Not every sales page needs to have this type of headline, and if it is over used, it can detract from the main headline. When writing headlines of any type, keep them concise and to the point. There is little benefit to long-winded headlines. People just will not read them if they are too drawn out. You want the headline to grab the attention of the reader and pull them in to what you have to offer. THE INTRODUCTION The introduction is a key component in your Internet marketing sales page. The fact is, if you cannot grab them now, they will not continue on, and most likely, will never buy from you. Therefore, your introduction needs to count and you should spend time on it. The first few sentences have to find a way to pull at the heartstrings of your reader. You want them to grab the attention of the reader and make them say, "Wait…I need to read this…" The introduction is not a hard sell. At this point, you want to draw them further into the sales page content so that you can show them why what you have to offer is the best product to solve their problem. To write the introduction, keep in mind what your product provides to the reader. Do not list that here. Rather, consider what type of emotion or result the product has to offer to the visitor. In the copy coming, you will showcase what your product is, so at this point, you do not need to mention it. Rather, you want to present your case for why it is valuable. Choose wording that shows the reader the benefits of your product or service. You want to describe how they will feel when they own it. You want to tell them how it will help to improve their life.

Communication Skills For Effective Leadership PLR Ebook

Sample Content Preview EFFECTIVE VERBAL COMMUNICATION Verbal communication is often taken for granted because we can all speak, even if we are not good writers. However, effective verbal communication does not come naturally to everyone. Fortunately, it is a skill that can be learned with a bit of time and effort. The Importance of Verbal Communication Spoken words matter beyond just the clear exchange of information. Style and tone of delivery can also affect what is being said and how it is being received by the audience. Speaking in person and over the phone clearly and concisely is an important skill for any leader to develop. In addition, a good leader must understand the difference between the two and other things that contribute to communication other than the words and phrases being used. Face-to-Face Communication Communicating in person can be one of the most efficient ways to convey ideas and open up the floor for discussion. It may not, however, be the most efficient way to give detailed information. Knowing the difference between the two can often mean the difference between success and failure when it comes to planning new projects and initiatives. For example, it's great to be able to chat face-to-face, but a rushed conversation as you are passing someone's desk is not an efficient way to expect things to get done correctly. A formal meeting or an email would be a better choice. Body Language Your body language will say a lot about who you are as a person and what your communication style is. Careless body language can also undermine the message that you were trying to convey. If your body language does not match your spoken words, there can be a serious disconnect which can be confusing or suggest to people that you are not telling the truth or are in some sort of mood. For example, if you speak and listen with your arms crossed in front of your chest, this could relay a number of negative messages. Your audience might think you are defensive, angry or disinterested, especially if you don’t look at them or turn sideways. Folded arms also send out the signal that people are supposed to stay away from you. They might even indicate stubbornness or refusal, so that people may never ask for what they need because your body language already seems to be telling them no. Act Natural A more relaxed and natural body stance with your arms hanging loosely at your sides is a much more welcoming posture when you are dealing with people face to face. When speaking, try not to fiddle. Practice stillness. Maintain eye contact. If you are in a large group, look around the room. Don’t pace, but do move around as needed. When listening, nod your head. Listen carefully. Don’t try to jump in to speak. Wait until the person has finished. Then repeat what you understand to be the essence of the question, in case anyone hasn’t heard, and to be sure you have heard correctly. Tone of Voice Tone of voice has a large part to play in spoken communication - both in person and particularly on the phone. For example, the sentence, "Thanks for joining us" could be sincere and pleasant-sounding if it is uttered at beginning of the meeting. However, if it is said to a person coming in 20 minutes late, with an emphasis on the word "Thanks" it can come off as sounding very sarcastic and perhaps even rude. Similarly, "Thanks a lot" carries different meanings when spoken versus when you read it on a page. It can be an expression of gratitude, or it can be sarcastic. Tone of voice is key. Hosting Meetings and Presentations If you are a business leader, sooner or later you are going to have to be in charge of meetings and give presentations. How well you do this could make or break your reputation as a good leader. If you are an organized leader who has a clear agenda and can get through a meeting in an efficient manner which will evoke positive outcomes, then your leadership will not be called into question. If on the other hand things start to disintegrate into aimless back-and-forth arguments and no work gets done, these meetings will have no positive outcomes and will tarnish your reputation as a solid leader. In terms of presentation such as PowerPoint decks, these days many businesses live and die by their decks. Therefore, it is really important to focus on this skill so you can create and give presentations that will maintain interest, persuade, and inform, rather than send people off to sleep. Public Speaking In the course of meetings, presentations, conferences and so on, you will have to speak in public to audiences both large and small. Studies have shown that public speaking is the number one fear that most people have, while death is only number three. As someone once joked, this means most people would rather be in the coffin than give the eulogy over it. However, this does not have to be the case. There are many ways to practice public speaking in order to become better at it and do it with more confidence and effectiveness. It is just a case of being willing to put in the time and effort to practice until you are perfect. Or, if you are not perfect, at least you can do a much better job than you are doing at the moment - if you feel that this is a personal weakness that needs to be addressed in order to become a better communicator and leader. Conveying Confidence One of the reasons why it is so important to be a confident presenter is that if you look and sound confident, your audience will feel confident in your message, and that you are telling them the truth and not covering up anything. Going back to the example of having to indicate that lay-offs are imminent, people will feel much more confident about the future of the company if you sound positive about this being a necessary development for the strength of the company going forward. If you sound hesitant, nervous, or unsure about the need to take these steps, your audience in turn will also grow nervous. Inspiring Your Audience Great leaders inspire people to follow them. Julius Caesar would have never been able to cross the Rubicon and become the leader of the Roman Empire if he had lacked confidence or shrugged his shoulders as if to say, "Well, maybe it will work out." Instead he said, "I came, I saw, I conquered." In every company, there will be certain leaders who set the tone and who people look to for inspiration. Even if you are currently working in a job that has no leadership responsibilities at the moment, it is still possible for you to set the tone and take the lead on projects and initiatives. If you are willing to do so and can inspire people to follow you, it will be easy to demonstrate your leadership potential, and use what you accomplish as concrete examples of real achievements when it comes time for your end-of-year review or you decide you want to ask for a raise. For all these reasons, face-to-face communication is key to getting things done and sharing a common vision for what the company is supposed to be like. Phone calls can help as well. Effective Communication over the Phone Conversations on the phone can be a fast way of getting things done, but they can also leave room for confusion if you're not clear about what you want to discuss at the start, and what the outcomes are of that phone conversation. It is great to chat, but sometimes you might go around in circles. You might also end up seeming to agree to a particular action step, only to find that the person you were speaking to forgot that part of the conversation. This means you might expect something important to get done, but it never materializes.
