As a leader of a church there is a lot that is expected of you, I have listed some of the things that a pastor has to participate in to achieve leadership qualities. 1) The head of a congregation must take full responsibility of his actions and words, as well as take responsibility of his listeners. 2) Leaders at church have to be at church every time that the doors are open on time. 3) A church leader has to participate in church events 4) A church leader has to be there for the congregation 5) A church leader has to visit the members of the church who are not able to actually come to church because of an illness or because they are not physically able. 6) A church leader has to take part in community events As a good church leader you will have to participate in all of these activities however, it is up to you how you handle all of this within your own schedule. No matter what I say, even if it is true, unless he says it, the answer is never right. He is a royal pain in the butt, yet if I spent every waking moment giving into his irrational thinking while arguing with him there would be two losers in a single home. I won’t bend. If I believe in something then I will back it with evidence regardless of what anyone thinks. One of the best solutions while dealing with problems is to understand the problem itself, and the person behind the problem. For instance, my son has paranoid schizophrenia, psychosis, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which makes it difficult for him to see things in full light. One of the best ways to deal with him is to use assertiveness and let him know that disrespecting me is something I will not tolerate. I enforce the rules of respect. I will not take second best at any time. The golden rule in conquering difficult people is to avoid taking second best. In other words, you want to confront the difficult person, rather than allowing him/her to make you feel less than equal to the person. A person battling wits, arguing, pushing, annoying, and so on is only trying to drag you down with him. Don’t let this happen. You want to break down the problem so that you can see it in full light. As well, you will need to section off the problem so that you can pinpoint the true issue. As you move along you can search for answers and resolves by asking questions. Research your mind to review areas of your life where similar problems developed and look back at how you dealt with that problem. You can also consider the consequences of your decisions.
