More important than having the money or the time, the most important thing to have when you’re pursuing a pilot’s license is dedication. All the money and free time in the world can’t do a thing for a would be pilot who just doesn’t care enough to put their all into the process of learning to fly. This is all something you probably know if you’re responsible enough to at least think about considering retiring, so maybe we’re beating a dead horse, but it stands to be said, nonetheless. There’s no reliable path towards making your retirement fund in just a few years, so the earlier you start investing into your plan, the better.
