If it is then get ready to…
DROP THE FAT ACT AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
I’m simply amazed at what I see on the Saturday morning and late night infomercials. They tout these gadgets and gimmicks that promise easy weight loss. How many of us have seen these “ab gadgets” that we sit in and rock and the fat just seems to melt away?
Have you read the very small print at the bottom of the screen? Well it essentially tells you that you must implement some form of diet in order for it to be effective.
In this day and age it is easy to be tempted by promises of rapid weight loss that are given by certain weight loss programs, or offered as a result of “magic diet pills”, or other “miracle weight loss diets”. But honestly, it is a total load of B.S.
There are a few basic truths you should know before you decide on how you will proceed.
First, realize that there is NO miracle weight loss treatment.
While It is possible to lose significant weight by adhering to a highly restrictive or other popular fad diet, in reality the biggest problem with that is it is not sustainable long-term.

WHAT IS LOCAL SEO?
Local SEO is the practice of optimizing your website to ensure that it shows up in potential customers search results. The goal of Local SEO is to ensure that your business’s website is easily found by potential customers.
For example, a restaurant in downtown Wellesley would want to be displayed when somebody searches for “Restaurants in Wellesley.” It is not enough for your business to only be displayed when users search for your business by name. To maximize your customers you want your business to be displayed for a variety of search terms.
A restaurant that serves lunch and dinner located in Wellesley would want to rank for terms such as: “Restaurants in Wellesley,” “Lunch Wellesley,” Best Restaurants in Wellesley,” “Dinner in Wellesley,” and many more.
THE BASICS OF LOCAL SEO
There are four steps that your business should take to increase your chances of ranking well in search engines.
First, your business should have a professional looking website that contains accurate information about your business.
Second, you should have your webmaster target local keywords. Instead of trying to rank for “ice cream” your business should target “ice cream in Wellesley.”
Third, claim your listings on Google, Bing, and Yahoo. Search engines have likely already created a listing for your business but by claiming it you can submit pictures, edit the description, and respond to reviews.
Fourth, one of the best things that you can do to promote your business is to establish your business on local search directories. Directories such as Yelp, Yellow

Increasing Traffic to your website The World Wide Web has truly pervaded all aspects of human existence. Everything and everyone is going online now, and the move towards a totally connected world is not “if” anymore, it’s “when”.
Statistics show that up to 85% of the people who spend time online also purchase online. If you take the North American continent alone where more than 75% of the population have a broadband Internet connection at home, even if a fraction of these people buy online, it is still a huge market.
Online purchasing is also seeing tremendous growth and many companies are projecting a doubling of volume in just three years. If you take PayPal as a case in point, they have gone from $2 billion in payment volumes in 2002 to $16 billion in 2009 with revenues crossing $2.4 billion.
Amazon is another case that you can take as an example. Considering that Amazon is one of the largest online retailers, if not the largest, just looking at their total sales volume will show you that the trend in terms of online purchasing is only going up. While just a few years ago, in 2006, Amazon was about par with retail sales, since then they have posted higher growth rates, including during the recession years while retail sales has seen a steady decline in sales. Amazon has posted a 16% growth since the last one year alone while retail sales have grown only by 2.5%.
Online is where you will have to be in the future and whether you are selling something or just blogging about your thoughts, if you are serious about it you will have to do something to increase web traffic to your site.
There are a number of ways in which you can do this and there are a number of people who give free advice on what you need to do to increase web traffic. One of the most common things you hear is SEO or Search Engine Optimization, and while this is something that you have to keep in mind, there are a number of other things that you can also think about. This guide is meant to be informative to help beginners who want to set up their own websites on the salient points that they will have to keep in mind while they do this. Some of the tips may be a little complicated, but most of them are very simple and how popular your site becomes depends on how effectively you can bring them all together.

What is So Great About Apple’s Design Concepts?
There is always a reason why consumers are drawn to a particular brand of product. Apple has the record for drawing people in, and not just Americans, why?
Ease of use, that’s why!
You need to understand that the exterior design alone is not the only reason Apple products are still at the forefront of the world’s multimedia technology. Hidden designs and also compatibility of the products software and hardware within Apple’s iPod and Mac have really helped to achieve this.
Compatibility? This simply means that the users of Apple products really get to enjoy using the product and truly have a trouble-free experience. For example; the design of Apple Mac OSX offers a fast and very logical operating system, which truly surpasses Windows Vista in almost every area – No wonder the character, Carrie Bradshaw of the show, Sex and The City, prefered to write her column pieces using an Apple Mac.
The ease of use even extends to the software that is known to come with the purchase of every Apple Mac, such as Safari web browser. Safari’s function does not stop at finding information very quickly from the internet, it is also known to;
• Keep up with the newest web technology
• Help to organize your data
• Assist you in distinguishing one item from another.
Apple’s Safari, is known as the number one web browser in the world, and the recognition of other software from Apple such as the iLife suite applications, is to a degree because of the constant revisions. One of the great things about Apple’s software specialist designers is that they never wait for things to happen first! They are constantly searching for different ways to keep developing and improving. The users of Apple Mac are always confident that their software is up-to-date.
Even the Apple iPod designers do not give it a rest! The latest design improvements include the Apple Genius, which is known to automatically create playlist of songs that effectively match the accelerometer – this makes games much more fun to play and provides the Apple iPod Nano with its 3D graphics and shake to shuffle feature
The Apple iPod touch has a very outstanding Multi-Touch screen that happens to be a major design all by itself. Multi-Touch is also used on Apple laptops too.

Introduction
Today’s market place is very different than forty-years ago. Forty-years ago if you wanted to open a business you had to have upfront costs, property, large amounts of inventory, and your best bet for advertising was the local paper and direct mail pieces. Of course, this took a lot of effort and even more money. You had to hope and wait for people to get your ad and decide to come and purchase a product from you. Going out and getting them to come into your store would have been a difficult feat.
Additionally, forty-years ago your ability of growth was limited to local purchasers for the most part. If what you had to offer was not in a reasonable distant from your potential consumers, your company suffered. Moreover, because most shopping was done near home, any bad publicity could really hurt your company’s reputation; thus, leading to your company being shut down.
Forty-years ago consumers had to find local places to purchase their goods at; everyday shopping was done within a modest radius from home-base. To know what merchant had new products or sales, one had to wait for either the Wednesday Flyer or the Sunday paper. Options for product purchases barely existed beyond one’s living area.
Jump forward to the modern day and we know all of this has changed. Today, any individual can purchase whatever they desire from anywhere in the world. Most likely shipping will be free and the products returnable. There is nothing that cannot be found – the Internet has everything from the rarest of coffees to cheap rubber bracelets. It does not matter what is wanted, it is there for the purchase. And, that ability to purchase whatever it is wanted can be comparison shopped in the blink of an eye; thus an environment that is exceptional for the buyer and a tough one for merchants.
For business owners the Internet can be hit or miss. There are more customers than one can shake a stick at with an equal amount of competition. Unlike yester years when your nearest competition was a decent amount of distance away and your location added to your bottom for consumers appreciate convenience; the Internet has competition that is breathing down your neck. Competition on the Internet is so close to your proximity that it would seem your could just reach right through the Internet and touch them. They can take tease your customer away long before that customer ever knows you exist. In fact, all your competition has to do is rank better then you on any search engine results page.

Chapter 1
History of Vegetarianism
To get a good understanding of being a vegetarian, vegetarian food, and cooking it will help to learn about the origins of Vegetarianism. Vegetarianism can be traced back to ancient Egyptian society where many religious sects abstained from eating meat or wearing clothing that was made from animal skins do to their beliefs in reincarnation. The practice could also be found in ancient Greece. Most notably, the famed scholar Pythagoras, known for his contributions in the field of mathematics believed that being a vegetarian was an essential part of being a good human and would help lead to a peaceful existence. The idea of being a vegetarian was hotly debated by the Greeks throughout their civilization. This was one idea that the Romans did not share with the Greeks. Romans saw animals as a source of food and entertainment for the masses.
Vegetarianism in Religion
Adhering to a vegetarian diet is central to many religions. Buddhism shows kindness to all living things and its believers hold many animals to be scared for what they provide to humans whether it is milk or as work animals to help plow fields. Followers of Christianity had different views when it came to being a vegetarian. Christians believe that humans reign over all other living things on Earth meaning that they believe that animals are here for their use whether that means as beasts of burden or as a food source.
However, that does not mean that all Christians are carnivores. Throughout history, different sects of Christians have broken with the mainstream beliefs and preached a vegetarian lifestyle. Vegetarianism played a key role for Christians in Eastern Europe; among these groups were the Bogomils that rose up in the 900’s in what is now modern day Bulgaria. The Bogomils were seen as heretics because they spoke out against what they saw as the excesses of monasteries and the Eastern Orthodox Church; they rejected the physical world and forswore the consumption of eggs, meat, and cheese that led them to lead a vegetarian lifestyle.

Chapter 1: What Is Acne?
What is acne? Certainly, most of us know what it is, simply because we have had to experience it at one time or another in our lives. But, in case a definition is needed, here is a short one. Acne is a dermatological term that includes clogged pores, pimples and lumps or cysts that occur on the face, neck, chest, back, shoulders, and upper arms. Acne occurs most commonly in teenagers, but is not limited to any age group, afflicting even adults in their forties. This disease has many varieties, and although none are life threatening, the more severe cases of acne can be disfiguring, leaving permanent scars on effected areas.
The physical changes in body tissue - or lesions - which acne causes are described in five ways: comedos, papule, pustule, nodule and cyst. Further, these terms denote range or severity with comedo (also known as blackheads and whiteheads) at one end and nodules or cysts at the other.
As stated above, acne is most common among teenagers, affecting teens between the ages 12 and 17. Usually, these mild cases are cleared up with over-the-counter treatments and the acne goes away by the early twenties. It also should
