Introduction
This is the standard way that the Amazon affiliate program works. You send traffic to Amazon. Amazon pays you commission on the sales generated from that traffic. Pretty simple. But there’s another option.
The Standard Model (What You are Doing Now)
Traffic
Third Party Affiliate Provider
Using a Third Party Affiliate Provider
When using a third party affiliate provider, your links “hop” through the affiliate provider, then to Amazon. The third party provider is considered by Amazon to be the affiliate, and payment is sent to them. Then they forward the bulk of the commission to you via Paypal. So why would you do this?
Advantages to Using a Third Party Affiliate Provider
Earn 6.375% commission for all “standard” Amazon sales. (The payout is 75% of what the provider gets, and they are at the maximum commission level of 8.5%.) This is a serious commission boost for most affiliates.
Sell from anywhere – It doesn’t matter if you are in a “banned state” or country. It is perfectly legal to sell Amazon products via a Third Party Affiliate Provider.
Sell products from over 30,000 online retailers, all from one account. There are usually no additional sign ups (This varies by provider. More on that later.) And get paid in one single payment.
